And yet, Don Quixote and his "Lady" are the only people in this play who are genuinely and completely happy. While being scrappy underdogs. Of course Cervantes' message was going to be completely misconstrued, it was being presented by a genuinely good man who dedicated himself to a hopeless quest due to his innate humanity and inner goodness. Most people eat up this Impossible Dream shit because we've all had to lose something.
He didn't have a chance. Underdogs always win. Also, this rendition is awful.

Because my father, the current reigning lord is aa secret dragon cult leader and is on his deathbed.
