Ignoring the blatant pedophilia of the OP, I did have a game where this came up once. 3.5, the DM was a fan of homebrewed magic items, and tried to give us "Pants of Alacrity", basically that would give you the Run feat. As the player who got them went to write it in on his character sheet, he realized that there wasn't a slot for magic pants items. We checked around in the rulebooks, and found out that enchanted pants simply don't exist. DM said that was dumb, and gave everyone a Pants slot for magic items.

that said I think they don't bother with pants/leg slots becasue magic armor is usualy assumed the full suit not just a breastplate that takes up the chest slot.

In addition to how pants-slot items would result in the same sort of "discussion" available in this thread over and over, you can see all sorts of enchanted accouterments in fantasy, but only uncommonly pants. They don't have an obvious enchantment or a well-established fantasy trend for what they do. Where you do sometimes see magical pants is in cartoons (the American kind, not the Japanese kind). Captain Underpants comics, Wallace and Gromit's "The Wrong Trousers" film...I'm not going to research a big list just for a website for Azerbaijani sculpture fans, but you get the idea. Magic pants are silly, so non-silly games avoid them.

It's a really fun series to think about from a tabletop system perspective, but maybe too echii/harem to actually fully enjoy.
The means by which people can become demons is by using an enchanted chess piece; demons as recreation create teams of fighters and pit them against each other. The piece itself creates a connection to the demon (who is the king piece) and boosts certain aspects of the person consuming it.
Rooks get physical strength and defense
Bishops get increased magic
Knights get speed
Queens get everything,
Pawns get very little of everything but can be promoted to the other pieces
The kings set of pieces mirrors the number of chess pieces in the real game. Some people are worth more then one piece; protagonist cost 8 pawn pieces because he had a rare special power.
The Kings fill their team with people with interesting powers, generally other demons. Increasingly, though, they are using human that have "Sacred Gears" which are effectively miracle powers given to humans by the literally dead Abrahamic God. Sacred Gears only naturally occur in humans and demihumans, but can be stolen with a ritual by fallen angels.
Nearly any Sacred Gear can attain Balance Breaker- a state where the power itself temporarily evolves. There is also a rare type of Sacred Gear called a Longinus that are powerful enough to threaten gods.
There are also several brands of magic and many fantasy creatures and every god in setting, but a lot of it is badly defined.

I'm trying to balance the magic items my party has been encountering during the campaign so far. What would be a cool, but not too broken, item for a low-level rogue/assassin and a low-level wizard?
For the rogue, I was thinking of something that could provide a familiar of some sort, because the player seems to like animals. I guess I could just give the wizard some wands or something but that seems pretty boring.

Because the way that the economics of the industry work means that your setting is only really financially successful if they can license the hell out of it. The entire industry (especially the Japanese side of it) is built on selling plastic statues to high functioning autists and teenagers with their parents credit cards.
Even if the publisher is OK with not fleecing otaku the only way to even get the attention of the Japanese Man-child is to fill your shit with waifu.
For example, Big O was a great series but Japan didn't give two shits about it because none of the female characters were moe. It only got a second season because westerners loved the hell out of it.
