Other than 40k's War in Heaven, are there any other fantasy settings which involve such a scenario?

>Is there a fantasy setting where two super-powerful races fought a big war a really long time ago?
It would almost be easier to name the ones that don't.

Ones that aren't terrible or uninteresting then. Glorantha seems to be interesting but I don't know any source that has it in a codified way, rather than fragments from all over the place.

Neither War in Heaven is interesting and exciting
>>43749922
So are there any that are?

In mythology we have tons of examples of "war in heaven" scenarios. Whether it's the falling of Satan in Christian mythology, Atlantis (more of a Fall of the Eldar type thing, but close enough), and tons of other shit. So even in real life we have examples of that kinda thing. Hence where those ideas for settings come from in the first place. The idea that at one point shit was great and then someone came along and just fucked shit up is a running theme.

Dune....just humans and AI.

There's that other race too, I forget their names, but they're the travellers that are apparently running from something. Or was that some other group of humans? I'm pretty sure they aren't since this was prior to the god emperor making the scattering happen which branched people out so they weren't clustered around Dune and being spice addicts.
Granted, not a shitload of aliens and no major war we know of, but there were others besides humans and AI. They were just really minor.

In western mythology (and therefore most settings) you find the "war in heaven" (see most religions) and the age of regression or how the past had amazing super structure lost technology (considered magic by the uneducated) which is based on the fall of the Roman empire in the west and the "dark ages".

WHFB had like four.

Too bad WHFB doesn't exist anymore.

Star Wars, at least the Legends canon.

I reject that retarded bullshit and live in 8th Edition.

>What is OldHammer?
>What is 8E?
>What is The 9th Age?
>What is playing KoW using WHFB fluff and minis?

Age of Sigmar is here to stay. Deal with it.

Atlantis wasn't even believed in, it was literally a hypothetical device used by Plato and regarded as such until the hippie era. The Greek ages thing as recounted by Hesiod was really more a Fall deal than a Great War deal.
War of the Ancients in Warcraft
In Dragon Age, the war between the Evanuris(the elven "gods") and Fen'Harel.

>not using Ugaritic mythology
>Baal Hadad and bloody bitch goddess Anath versus Yam the Prince World-River and legions of his followers
>after that primeval death Mot arise
>above them, El the Father watches over them and judges who is worthy to become his heir

That doesn't mean it's not an abortion
>>43750072
You're misremembering. Those people coming back were humans, and it was in the books after the God-Emperor.

Well, there is the Guide to Glorantha, which goes into a lot of detail.
Anything in particular you need to know?
