My current pair of glasses do this, between the lenses and some moron mirroring the rim interiors, every light gets a corresponding halo along the rim, some of which comes out in rainbows and some in the original color. After like 4-6 weeks It stopped being a problem and I now miss the effect without them.

You do realize that such a curse would prevent your capacity to ever lie or be subtle about anything, right?
There are a lot of people who would be affected by such a limitation, not just sneaky characters. Anyone with illicit activity, anyone with a fetish, anyone with anything that is socially reprehensible... this would be a nightmare for anyone but the most purest pure morally-sound characters.
