Let's make a random character /tg/ using Central Casting Heroes of Legend.

I need someone to roll 1d20 to start us off for what race our new adventurer is.
>>
Let's do this.
>>
>>43736114
So is it a boy or a girl ?
>>
Rolled 8 (1d20)

>>43736135
I forgot to roll
>>
>>43736135
We can either roll for it and say high number is male and low is female or just go with a majority vote.
>>43736141
Looks like we're human.

I need a 1d10 for our culture background.
>>
Rolled 1 (1d10)

>>43736167
ROBOT DOPPELGANGERS
>>
>>43736187
Oh boy we're primitive.

>Primitives do not read and write their own language and do not form signifigant permanent settlements. The chief industry of Primitives is the procurement of food usually by hunting(traditionally a male role) and gathering(traditionally the task of women, children and the elderly). They do not work metal and organized farming is still rare. Political units are the family and the clan. Rulers are the most powerful hunters of the group. Historically Primitves include most prehistoric peoples, many Amerindians, Artic tribes, Australian aborigines, African bushmen and pymies, and Picts. Fictional Primitve cultures include J.R.R Tolkein's Woood Woses, Michael Morcook's natives of Oin and Yu and Robert E Howard's Hyborian Picts.

Now d100 for our social status
>>
>>43736167
Rolling for gender
>>
Rolled 84 (1d100)

>>43736206
Goshdangit.

>We're the King, baby!
>>
>>43736206
So...is Primitive good?
>>
>>43736208
We're comfortable/middle class.
>>43736212
We're dirty savages so eh.

Now I need 20 for our birth legitimacy.
>>
Rolled 2 (1d20)

>>43736223
Bourgeois!
Who would question our lineage?
>>
Rolled 2, 12 = 14 (2d20)

>>43736223
First ones for gender. Second is for legitimacy
>>
>>43736232
So good news we're not a bastard.
>>43736236
If we're going to roll for gender I guess that makes our character female.

I'm going to use that second roll for our family. Which is a single grandparent. Someone give me 1d6. 1-3 its maternal relation, 4-6 paternal relation.
>>
Rolled 4 (1d6)

>>43736252
Both!
>>
>>43736258
So we were raised by a grandparent on dad's side of the family.

Now I need 1d20 to see if we have any siblings.
>>
Rolled 2 (1d20)

>>43736265
A dozen!
>>
Rolled 3 (1d20)

>>43736265
Let's go only child
>>
>>43736311
Looks like we have none.
>>43736312
And I'll put this role towards our place of birth which is inside the family home.

Now d100 to see if anything unusual happened during the day we were born.
>>
Rolled 77 (1d100)

>>43736327
>>
>>43736383
One unusual occurrence happened. 1d100 to see what it is.
>>
Rolled 39 (1d100)

>>43736393
>>
Rolled 2 (1d3)

>>43736399
Character was born exactly at midnight. Roll d10 1d3 times and reroll any duplicates
>>
Rolled 9, 7 = 16 (2d10)

>>43736417
>>
>>43736418
+1 natural skill rank in any stealh and +2 to magical ability attribute after the sun sets( or in darkness)

Alright d3 for how many childhood events we have
>>
Rolled 1 (1d3)

>>43736444
>>
>>43736446
Alright so 1d20 for childhood event
>>
Rolled 2 (1d20)

>>43736447
>>
>>43736457
A tragedy occurs! I need d20 to see what terrible thing happened
>>
Rolled 9 (1d20)

>>43736463
>>
>>43736476
A favorite, possibly valuable, possession vanishes.

D6 for how
>>
Rolled 6 (1d6)

>>43736491
Laundry!
>>
>>43736502
It was stolen and a fake was left in it's place

I need 1d12 to see how old we were when it happened. Then 1d3 for how many events we have for our adolescence.
>>
>>43736512
>>
Rolled 12 (1d12)

>>43736512
How scandalous.
>>
Rolled 3 (1d3)

>>43736523
How rude they stole from a primitive 12 year old girl
>>
Don't the Central Casting books have any other sexual pref other than hetero as a "mental illness"
>>
>>43736538
Alright 3d20 for our adolescent years.
>>43736547
I haven't read through the entire thing so I can't say but to be fair it was written in what the 90's
>>
Rolled 1 (1d3)

>>43736512
Let's go for the three
>>
Rolled 14, 5, 14 = 33 (3d20)

>>43736568
Well it's true, from a certain point of view.

Truth is a funny thing.
>>
>>43736577
>1d3 more events occur
>>43736571
Just gonna use that one if that's okay with everybody.

>learn head of household's occupation

>1d3 more signigant events

So 1d3 for more events and d20 for our Grandparent's occupation we learn.
>>
Rolled 2 (1d3)

>>43736597
Let's rumble.
>>
>>43736608
So we need a grand total of 4d20s. One for occupation and the other 3 for events.
>>
Rolled 7, 10, 3, 5 = 25 (4d20)

>>43736627
Tell me we're a candlestick maker.
>>
Rolled 3 (1d3)

>>43736597
Round, round, round it goes...
>>
>>43736635
Nope we learned how to become fisherman.

>A special age specific event occurs
>Something wonderful occurs
>Learn head of household's occupation

...So we learned how to fish twice apparantly. Whatever but I need 2d20 for what was so wonderful that happened to us and what age event happens.
>>
Rolled 3, 13 = 16 (2d20)

>>43736657
>>
>>43736657
Our only birthday, at age 9 3/4
>>
>>43736663
>Apprenticed to learn an occupation.
1d10 for that
>Character becomes reknown for their occupation Clients from around the world seek her services. The influx of buisiness allows the character to increase her social status 1d2 levels

I guess she's a hadny woman
>>
Rolled 3, 8 = 11 (2d20)

>>43736681
What happened to my dice?
>>
Rolled 6 (1d10)

>>43736685
Darn it all.
>>
Rolled 2 (1d2)

>>43736685
>>
>>43736693
>>43736687
So I needed another d20 so I'm just going to use the first one in that roll so we learned to become a goldsmith. Now I need a 1d10 for event that occured during our apprenticeship
>>43736694
We're now wealthy.
>>
Rolled 8 (1d10)

>>43736714
>>
>>43736723
>An exotic event occurs in the master's shop while you're apprenticing there.

>>43736687
Just going to steal that second roll for the event.
>The character befriends an extremely wealthy

So I need 2d6 to determine if we befriended this rich person or the master. Then the second role is fto determine the person's gender.
>>
Rolled 6, 6 = 12 (2d6)

>>43736731
>>
Rolled 6, 4 = 10 (2d6)

>>43736731
>>
>>43736743
So it looks like the master befriends this extremely wealthy gentleman who's much younger than him(possibly a child).

Now that our childhood is finally over. It's time to see what happens to us as a grown woman. 1d3 for events.
>>
Rolled 2 (1d3)

>>43736756

Mokka.jpg
22 KB, 250x250
>>43736764
So 2 events so 4d20
>>
Rolled 6, 1, 19, 7 = 33 (4d20)

>>43736767
>>
>>43736782
>the character saves someone's life
3d10 for stuff about hte person we saved and 1d6 for gender
>Character has a romantic encounter
1d3 events
>>
Rolled 10, 10, 6 = 26 (3d10)

>>43736792
>>
Rolled 3 (1d3)

>>43736799
>GM SPECIAL: Companion is a god guised a mortal. If the companion's true nature is ever discovered, it will depart but leave a parting gift for the character
>Grimally: Doesn't talk much. Does what needs to be done. Quite sure of himself at all times

And Mr.Edgey isn't in love with us
>>
>>43736823
>>
Rolled 9, 13, 4 = 26 (3d20)

>>43736838
Fuck didn't roll
>>
Rolled 1 (1d3)

>>43736844
>Beloved is unfaithful. Roll a d6 if the result is 1-2 they reunite and work out their differences. Otherwise the romance ends painfully.

Poor cave girl
>>
Rolled 5 (1d6)

>>43736852
Wrong number
>>
>>43736858
So that's the character's pretty much done. THere's still personality and rolling for key stuff for NPCs but I'm too tired to go through all that.

She's a primitive girl who was raised by her grandparent, she was born exactly at midnight and gained a talent at moving in the saodws and an incraese in her magical abilites in the shadows. When she was 12 something important was stolen and a fake was left in her place. Her grandfatehr took the time to teach her to become a good fisherwoman. She eventually became the apprentice to a goldsmith. Her goldsmithing skills became renown in her teenage years which made her rich. She save a mysterious young man's life and he's decided to travel with her since. She was also briefly in a relationship and it all fell apart because her man/woman was unfaithful.
