I made a character once for a homebrew setting who was part of a tech-obsessed small race, called gremlins - no more than two feet tall normally, Arnold was a few inches over and got bullied for it. He decided to make a hobby of beating the shit out of people and ended up with an obsession with cybernetics, starting with an augmented metal arm. His class would have allowed him to continue getting augs every couple of levels, granting increased speed, hitting power, darkvision, flight, just about anything really.
The game died before we ever hit combat. Which is a shame, because the homebrew setting was really cool.
I'm trying to find it.
Last character had a completely normal looking arm that was actually a prosthetic arm. The special thing about it was that it was connected to his heart and would set off a high-grade micro nuke if his heart were to stop for more than the normal amount of time (sneezing).
