Nope. You have to be either human or half-elf. And your alignment has to be Neutral at least partially. Also - bard is batshit crazy class in 1e. Qualifying is almost impossible.

The invisible ink modules look pretty neat. It's kind of a shame that they're one use. You might need to screw with the contrast in order to see the scans.. Not sure how well they'll show through.

This one's not a solo, it's a one-on-one, hence the "O2" designation.

I tried to run 1e after playing 2e for years. Fuck the attack tables.

It was the only game of D&D I've ever DM'd, but I'd be willing to run some sort of module.

Yeah, THAC0 was a common houserule dating back to the 70s, it was with good reason that TSR adopted it in 2e to remove the attack tables.

>>43734763
The DDA series is Basic, not 1e.

I remember MV1 being somewhat readable. That's not Invis. Ink, but it is some weird thing.

You can get the hidden text on the net from some websites.
I played MSOLO1 with a PDF, a .txt file of the hidden text, and a bash script that would only show me the entry that I asked for.

The differences between them are: The green one has maps for the gatehouses, while the orange just points where they are.
The green has all rooms fully described, while the orange one leaves some sections blank for the DM to put monsters in.
The green one collapsed the SW stairwell that's clear in the orange one.
The orange one is explicitly set in Mystara, while the green one is more generic.

I think that's all, aside from minor editing fixes.

All good. I'm saving both anyway. I'm not sure if I'll ever use them. In all the years that I've played DnD, I think I only ran a module two or three times. The rest of the time, I just ran with imagination. I probably should look at them at some point though. There are probably some decent ideas in there.

>>43735229
If you're partial to a bit of silliness, WG7+EX1+EX2 makes a good campaign. WG7 is 'Castle Greyhawk', but I like to think it's some podunk fort that's called itself Castle Greyhawk to attract the punters.

WGR1 - Ruins of Castle Greyhawk is a very large and complex dungeon with 26 floors across three complexes, plus cave systems and shit between them.
