I love world-building, and one of the parts of world-building that I really, really enjoy are seeing ads and flyers for fictional in-universe companies or merchants. So I'm posting a few, most of them sci-fi because I don't know where my fantasy ones are right now.

If anyone has similar things, let's post em.

For context, Bowa Co. makes all the Federation's beam weapons in the Mobile Suit Gundam Universal Century setting.

This one is an ad for Nova Scotia, a music publisher in the same setting.

This is just a vintage poster for RIBS IN A CAN dating to about 1960, I think.

A low-res ad for some alt-history setting where a laptop computer gets sent back in time to 1950 and they try to build things based on it or something. So we have this GBA-like thing that plays Notari 2600 games.

This is interesting. It's basically a fold-out ad for a "space picnic" cutlery set. They're not actually used in outer space, but designed for use in either low-gravity or zero-g environments in spaceships and space colonies. But not for eating while you're in a spacesuit doing an EVA or on the moon.

Here's how you use it, along with some examples of the type of food they're growing in the future. All the Japanese text is either a description of the product or recipes. I think /m/ translated some of this a while back.

This is like some relic of the '70s advertising or something.
