An average Space Marine or an Ork Boy?

Absolutely no fuckin question, the Ork'd win hands down.
In a naked fight? The marine. If we're talking an Ork BOY, at least. Bring in a Nob, and the Marine is going to get his asshole pulled out through his mouth. With just a boy, the edge in raw strength a boy might have is overcome by speed, skill, and bullshit like spitting acid.

Ork.
Marines are the pinnacle of physical perfection amongst men. And some of them even have claws and fangs and armor built-in!
.....But an Ork in a preposterous situation like a naked cage fight is going to be in his element because it is stupid, outlandish, and probably involves an audience.
Also, the more he gets hit, the more into it he's gonna get, because Orks live to fight. Marines don't get better at fighting during the fight. They just don't give up or falter. An Ork is seriously going to get fightier and fightier as the fight progresses.
So how has this come about? Did a mekboy with a love for naked cage fights invent a special battlewagon for nude brawls on the go.
Grabbing arm, several high powered cutting torches to remove power armor, and a cage on the back which the confused, naked marine can be dropped into to do battle with the orc within.

So I'd say, tabletop-wise, the marine wins.
And fluff-wise, the marine actually knows how to fight, so it's basically a martial art expert versus an untrained but enthusiastic dudebro. I say the marine takes it.

SCOUTS ARE STRENGTH 4
Power Armor does not add much to the strength of a Space Marine. It adds DURABILITY. Space Marines outside of armor already are capable of benching several tonnes and can rip apart tank armor with their bare hands, including power armor. Power armor does increase their strength a bit, but for the most part Astartes are already peaked in that regard.

That's a rarity if we're going by fluff, some death world badasses or hardened veterans might, but your average guardsman is going to be ripped limb from limb in melee by your average ork.

Point being though that Orks aren't these impossible monsters, they basically are just humble Gorillas in terms of strength. Off the top of my head for Guardsmen braining Orks comes Siege of Castellax, where an Iron Warrior slave soldier brains an Ork Boy with his lasgun.
Then there's guys like the Vostroyans and Catachans, who I am pretty damn sure should crush Ork boys in a melee with their Officers (considering that Vostroyans have those power axe gun things).

Now that's just dumb. Orcs are renowned for their thick skulls and can shrug off losing limbs, being smacked on the head by a slave's laspistol shouldn't have even dazed one.

That wasn't a laspistol. It was a lasgun wielded by one of the trained jannisary slaves who went into "it ain't me mode" and charged and Ork boy who had fallen from a jump and started beating the boy's skull. Eventually it cracked, and then finally it was turned into jello.

If they had to fight by sporting rules it'd be an interesting match. If it's a deathmatch then the marine will be acid spitting if he's got it and the ork's got hands like talons and a huge set of chompers. The ork has basically brought a drawer full of knives to a fist fight. In that scenario lets just say space marines don't wear their armour for fun.

To expand on what was already said: the guy got lucky and shot the Ork in the eye, causing it to fall down some stairs, then emptied his lasgun's power pack shooting it some more. The Ork was still alive and trying to get up, so he went to town with his gun butt and clubbed it to death, continuing until its head was reduced to paste (though he'd only worked up the guts to do all that because one of the Iron Warriors was fighting with them).

They get more confident and aggressive the more of them there are, though that could be considered as much a simply psychological thing as a psychic one. But yeah, since their growth is linked to their aggression, higher numbers will result in them being stronger individually; certainly much bolder anyway. Marine strikes first. 50% chance to hit, 50% chance to wound. 25% chance of kill
If Ork strikes back, 50% chance to hit and 33% chance to wound with two attacks. This comes out to a 33% chance to kill.

No they aren't. Astartes are vastly stronger and faster compared to Ork Boys.
An ork boy could be anything from a freshly sprouted yoof to a grizzled skarboy.
But I'd probably say it would be pretty even, depending on how much unarmed fightin' experience they both have. Do spessmareens train in boxing? Because iirc orks are always bashing each other in fightan pits and should be pretty good at it.

Well, considering the victor of the fight would depend on the the specific ork and Space Marine, I'd say that, on average, you'd end up half and half. Half the time the ork would win, half the time the space marine would.
