The story so far: Anon is a member of the Calloway Military Academy's Elite Monster-Hunting SpecOps team. The school is currently being invaded by a horde of ancient zombies that cannot be killed by conventional weapons. Your personally assigned escortee, Sibella Dracula, has come to you to plead for aid, telling you a story that a witch named Revolta is responsible, and that she has abducted the other monster-girls from the Grimwood Finishing School for Ghouls. Anon is a bit suspicious if Sibella is telling the truth or if she's a mole sent by Revolta herself.

Anon is packing a hidden wooden stake in his jacket, two clips of ammo (one silver, one regular), and has just recently facilitated the production of special natron-salt rounds that should be able to kill the zombies permanently. The cadets of the school have taken some casualties but now they might just have a fighting chance.

It is suspected that the zombies are just a first wave to soften the school up before Revolta arrives personally. There's something or someone here that she's looking for.

Looking for guidance, you've decided to take Sibella to meet with Col. Calloway, the headmaster of the school. As expected you've found him holed up in the central Administration building, along with the largest group of students seeking refuge from the zombie swarm outside.

As you walk down the office halls, Sibella a step behind you, you see that the school has taken on the atmosphere of a wartime bunker under constant shelling. There are cadets posted at every entrance with their standard-issue rifles at the ready and everyone is tense, waiting for the defenses to inevitably break. A couple of times the guards stop you on your way to the Colonel's office but a flash the special pin at your collar, an eye set inside a triangle, the mark of the elite SpecOps class, reminds them of your special rank and they allow you to pass even with Sibella in tow.

Finally you reach the inner sanctum of Col. Calloway, and find your mentor there directing troop placements around the perimeter and the construction of an expeditionary task force for the purpose of retrieving any students lost out in the greater campus. but all that is put aside when he sees you've arrived.

"About time you turned up, cadet. What do you have to report?" he snaps, clearly on edge. "It'd better be good news."

"Well, we have more information than we did anyway. That's about as far as good goes though."
"Looks like this witch name of Revolta kidnapped Tanis, the mummy girl for access to her Book of the Dead for whatever reason. She might be looking for a way to access the Land of the Dead."
"Her spider-bats tried to brain-wash Sibella here. We can assume they tried the same with the other girls. Whether the other girls besides Tanis are strictly necessary or a bonus I don't know."
"However she wouldn't be bothering with the Academy if she didn't need it or something here. Whether it's because of ley-lines or what have you or an artifact in your collection...that's beyond me."
"What I do know is I need non-lethal ways to subdue the girls, rather hard, if they are mind-controlled. Or a way to snap them out of it."
"I could also use some advice on how to take care of Revolta herself without actually killing her."
"The spider-bats might also be leading or rather guiding the zombies. One of them chewed through a lockbox and stole the Jekyll serum from the lab. If that was to keep it out of our hands or she wants to use it for some reason I don't know. The spider-bats, not the zombies."
>If he says anything
"Sir, should I really be sugar-coating things right now?"
>>
>>43522834
>>43522529
>Also, if he asks why we don't necessarily want to kill her.
"I'd rather not send her anywhere she's trying to be, seems like it'd cause more trouble than it's worth."

"Sugar-coat? Don't be ridiculous cadet, we're at war. No time for pussy-footing around. Say what you have to say, we can worry about people's feelings later."

>You bring Col. Calloway up to speed on everything you've learned. When you mention Revolta by name, you see Calloway's pencil mustache twitch: he knows the name.

"So she's come back at last," he mutters to himself, rising from his chair. "I'm afraid there is no easy answer for me to give you about Miss Grimwood's students; the so-called 'spider-bats' have a powerful hypnotic effect with their bite but it is only short-term. If they were captured around the same time that the zombie panic began, then..." He takes out a pocket watch on a chain and inspects the hands carefully, "Either Revolta has done something beyond my knowledge to put them under her control more permanently. Or they've been disposed of. Either way, they're beyond any quick-fix."

"As for Revolta herself, I agree completely. But there are fates worse than death that can be arranged." Calloway's grim expression cracks into a menacing grin. "I have preparations to make. When that witch gets here I'll have a surprise waiting for her."

Sibella stands at your side, and you detect a growing unease in her. Calloway moves across the room to a locked hawthorn wood cabinet, which opens to reveal a personal arsenal of swords and other archaic weapons. Calloway pulls an ornately carved ivory-handled cutlass from the collection and holds it aloft, checking it's edge.

"So you're just going to wait here?!?" Sibella blurts out angrily. "If Revolta had everything she needed she'd be here already with her zombies. So clearly she's still vulnerable, and probably torturing my friends or worse! We have to try to stop her while we still can! We can still save them!"

"That's a negative, miss," Calloway shuts her down, "We let Revolta come to us, that way we can prepare an ambush for maximum tactical advantage."
>>
>>43522529
"One piece of good news, 'purifying natron' will put the zombies down. Since they're magical."
>To Sibella
"Also, could you explain what you went through before we bumped into each other? I know you went through a lot, but anything at all might help. Even if it seems insignificant."
>>
>>43523312
"She kind of got a point though."
"So if that's the plan, a bit of recon and possibly flushing her out ahead of time, forcing her hand before everything is in place might not be a bad way to go."
"Any advice on harassing witches, spider-bats and things I didn't specialize in?"
>>
>>43523312
"That way, she flushes out, and runs straight into your trap while trying to salvage her whatever it is."

>"Also, could you explain what you went through before we bumped into each other?"

"It was a fairly ordinary day when it all started. Winnie and I were having an argument, about... well it's not important really. I was trying to help Tanis with her homework, Phantasma was pestering Elsa in her lab. I was doing a little cleaning around the kitchen when I noticed that the garden was overgrown with a strange brown weed I'd never seen before."

"Investigating further I found the same weed growing in the moat, at the front gate, even making it's way up the walls like a creeper vine. I thought it was weird but didn't say anything right away. It was a few hours later, in class, when we all noticed that the light from the windows was being blocked."

"We couldn't get them open, and when we tried to get outside we saw that the vines had grown in through the plumbing and were laying up and down the hallways, growing right through the walls."

"We looked for a way out but the more we searched through the school the more isolated we became from each other, as doorways were sealed off by the vines and cut us off from each other."

"I think that's when Phantasma, Winnie and Elsa got attacked. I don't know. I only managed to get out by turning into a bat and squeezing out through a small crack in the roof. But there were 'spider-bats' waiting in the air over the school, and they came after me. They held me down. I could hear Tanis screaming, saw her covered in webbing being dragged off into the woods towards the abandoned castle. I couldn't help her..."

>>43523478
"Tragic," Col Calloway replies stiffly. "I'm not unsympathetic, but I need every soldier manning their posts here. And you're one of my very best, cadet Anon. Permission denied."

Sibella turns to look deeply into your eyes, taking your hands in hers. She knows Calloway won't listen to her, but you and her have history together. "Please Anon," she begs, having no one else she can turn to, "I need you."
>>
>>43523851
"That's not fair Sibella... But i'll go. I'm sorry sir, but I have to help.
>>
>>43523851
"Huh, sounds like the weed might be one of her things too. Awfully convenient timing if not."
"Well, I do have a duty to look after my fellow cadets."
"But I also swore to abide by the Code too."
"And I don't break promises."
>Maybe get up and walk out, then to Sibella
"As I recall, I already promised. Not too long ago, to someone I care a lot about, I'd do everything I could to make sure you and the rest of the Grimwood Girls'd make it out of this alright."

"Cadet. CADET!" Calloway barks as you exit his office. "This insubordination will not be tolerated cadet! You're lucky I'm too busy to hold a court-marshal cadet!"

His ranting fades as the office door closes behind you. The guards posted outside refuse to look you in the eye.

"You're right, that wasn't fair... and I do owe you," Sibella admits quietly, looking a bit ashamed at what she resorted to. Without thinking further she leans in closer and kisses your cheek. It lingers longer than it needs to, but when she pulls back Sibella is all business again.

"So, what's the rescue plan?" she asks hopefully.
>>
>>43524612
"Load up on natron. Figure out where the spider-bats and/or zombies are coming from."
"Follow it to the source, the girls will likely be there if..."
"Anyway, they'll be there, we radio back with intel. Take the girls with us, willing or not. Probably going to have to assume not."
"Hopefully we can also work in snatching the book, putting the girls somewhere safe takes priority though. I don't doubt Calloway's abilities to do -something- to the witch."
"Not all in that order of course, but eh. Right now I'm running off of brainstorms. Coming at this quietly is probably the best approach due to sheer issues with...well, force size."
"And we need to go get a crash course on spider-bats and how to defend against them."
"No way am I letting those things get their mandibles on you."
"Also, I'd really like to not get mind controlled."

"They're not unbeatable. I was able to keep them from getting into my head. I could feel them probing into my mind, trying to mesmerize me with a... chanting, I suppose. "OBEY ONLY REVOLTA" over and over again."

"I was able to fight it off though, by focusing on the core of my own being. Remembering all the things that make me who I am. When I was clear-headed enough I was able to beat them back with my wings and make my escape. If you get attacked, just concentrate on that, concentrate on the fundamental things that make you you."

>>43525080
>>43525235
Luckily you're a trained monster hunter, though your specialty is in vampires you're not clueless about your options with the other girls.
WINNIE THE WEREWOLF: Silver weapons are of course the standby and most effective, and luckily you're packing a clip of silver rounds for your rifle already. Wolfsbane blossoms are also known to carry a toxin that is effective against werewolves, though it's only toxic in high doses. Unfortunately that's not something you keep a supply of. Werewolves are only infectious during the full moon, and lucky tonight it isn't (currently waning half-moon).

PHANTASMA: Your friend Cadet Morton, Phantasma's designated escort for the past semester, has already equipped you with a "medicine bag" of sorts, containing candles, salt, and a mirror, all of which are said to have some power to contain spirits.

ELSA: In the previous thread Anon was considering creating some kind of a harpoon gun with a line that could ground her and siphon electrical energy out of her tissues. It may be a little late to waste time mucking about in the school machine shop though. Fire is traditionally a fear that Frankenstein's creations have had. It's hard to say though, and Sibella admits that she's always lost every fight she's been in against Elsa. The only one who can stop Elsa Frankenstein is Elsa Frankenstein.

TANIS THE MUMMY
In theory she shouldn't be a threat, she's a shrimp.

Would water do anything to Elsa's electricity?

Maybe grab some helmets with built in communicators for the bats? Failing that something that blocks sound that youd find at the firing range.

"I happen to know that Elsa bathes regularly Anon," Sibella informs you. "And it rarely shorts out the school's power. I think she's mostly waterproof."

"The Spiderbats aren't actually speaking into your ears... at least I don't think so... earplugs wouldn't block out the chating, it goes directly into your brain."

>>43525569
Contrary to your expectation, Sibella is anything but pouty. She actually brightens, able to share a genuine smile with you for the first time since this nightmare began. "I think it's sweet of you to worry about me," she says softly, "and I promise I'll do whatever I can to keep you from falling under the witch's spell."

NOW ANON, OFF TO THE LIBRARY TO PACK SOME NATRON BULLETS? ANY BUSINESS TO FINISH UP IN THE ADMIN BUILDING FIRST?

"Ms. Grimwood is trapped inside the school, but she should be safe for the night. Her office is warded against many forms of mystical intrusion and as long as she was able to get there she'll be trapped but safe."

>Anon and Sibella head back to the Library

Sibella is able to carry you as she levitates above the school campus, out of reach of the zombies swarming about. From up here you can see that the entire school grounds are blanketed in the unnatural fog, the zombies have now massed against the exterior of the Library and Admin buildings where the survivors are concentrated.

You touch down on the Library rooftop and Sibella gives a sigh of exertion. "Woof! Let's not do that too much more, okay Anon? I haven't got a lot of blood to burn."

"What are you suggesting then?" Sibella asks, her hunger overcoming her manners enough to ask. She swallows, her throat rather dry.

"No, forget I asked. I'll be fine. You'll need your strength if you have any chance of overcoming Revolta. Just try not to bleed near me, okay?"

The other cadets in the library open the rooftop access and let you both inside. "Cadet Anon, sir! We've got something you'll want to see!"

inside the boys are keeping the Library's defenses tight, and now that they have a supply of natron they've been able to keep the zombies at bay, blowing the heads off of any that get too close to the building. Meanwhile most of the remaining cadets that aren't actively defending the walls are clustered around Cadet Phoebus, whom your rescued from the Chemistry building. He's been adequately bandaged up and looking healthier, though keeping off his feet.

The subject of interest isn't him, however. On the table in front of him is a spider-bat, pinned to the wooden table and splayed open as Phoebus dissects its remains.

"Well for one thing it's not a bat or a spider, but you'd probably already had some inkling of that. Its cellular structure reminds me more of a fungus than anything else. A very highly developed and motile type of fungus. As you can see it has sensory organs and mouth parts and insectlike limbs ending in small pincers. Despite the mouth it doesn't seem to have a digestive tract though, so I would guess that they are probably very short-lived. Perhaps only long enough to seek out a host and latch on with its mandible, then falling after it does... whatever it is it's supposed to do. Such as breaking into my lab or brainwashing a victim. This would lead me to think that it's not a naturally occurring life form, something cooked up in a laboratory setting."

"The wings are leather and batlike, and the rear of the abdomen does have large spinnerets for producing sticky silk. It lacks a nose, but does have feathery antennae on its head. which I'm guessing pick up vibrations like sound and air current changes. We brough this one down with a lucky swing from a baseball bat; they're fast but fragile creatures."

>>43526859
>>43526890
Calloway has a medical bay but it is small and perfunctory, not intended for any long-term care more serious than first aid. So there isn't blood bags kept there, no.

Grimwood DOES keep LOTS of blood on hand for Sibella and other hemovore students, but getting inside the building would be very difficult since it is encased within the growth of creeper vines. Sibella mentioned that she got out only by virtue of being able to shrink down to bat size.

"Oh! We have some of that at Grimwood! I think," Sibella speaks up. "I mean it sounds like the same stuff. We got it for Tanis, she was having some trouble with tomb mold getting into her bandages in some places that... she'd probably give me a smack if she knew I was saying this out loud right now. Ah, nevermind why we have it please! But yes, we have some fungicide at Grimwood. I just don't know how we'd GET to it."

"You could just shoot the buggers," suggests Cadet baxter, one of the younger recruits taking shelter in the Library with you. "I mean, we took this one down easily enough right?"
>>
>>43527723
Right, but there's the vines too...
Well we could route herbicide through the sprinklers I guess.
If the fungicide works on these, assuming that weed is even slightly animalistic, or sort of self driven, it'd probably cut out.
>>
>>43527723
"So I guess that's the plan then, ought to make defending both locations all together easier, add in you guys taking shifts with some of the greener cadets putting together natron rounds with a more experienced cadet checking their work and we oughta be alright. Working in shifts will keep everyone way less stressed over it too, and allow for multiple checks for defective rounds too. Show them what to do if they don't know."

The cadets understand what they're to do; they're already busy preparing more natron rounds to eliminate zombies with and pass around to the other cadets at the school. your fellow SpecOps students Morton and Phoebus are going to continue researching the library and the lab-dissection of the spiderbat to feed you any new info they find via radio. That just leaves Jamal and ignatius from the SpecOps team unaccounted for, but you trust they are putting their training towards the best use that they can in defense of the military academy, where ever they are.

You pack a clip of the natron rounds with you before you go; radio orders are coming in from Col Calloway to arrest you and Sibella if you've returned to the Library. The other students conveniently reply that no, none of them have seen you or Sibella.

Heading back to the rooftop, Sibella embraces you from behind, putting her arms under your shoulders and holding your chest in order to air-lift you outside the Calloway campus. You can't help but feel the close proximity of Sibella against your back, and her cool breath on the back of your neck.

"hhhHHuh!" Sibella wheezes when you finally touch down outside the worst of the fog. "We'd be best to go on foot from here. The more I use my powers the sooner I'll have to feed, and we don't have a ready supply of blood yet."

The two of you begin your walk down the long lonely road towards Grimwood. "At least it isn't raining."

"A-Anon, shush! Don't joke like that, someone's coming!"

The ginger girl come puffing closer and you adopt a defensive stand in front of Sibella, because nothing can be taken for granted on a night as weird as tonight. "Hey!" she calls again, running short on breath. "You guys, you (huff) guys it's me! (huff)"

You'd swear you've never seen this girl before. Sibella steps cautiously around you, just a half-step closer to get a better look. "My word, are you? Are you Winnie? Winnie Talbot?"

"YEAH!" the redhead exclaims joyously. "Look at me Sibella, I'm human again! Isn't it amazing!?!"

"Sibella, would you tell your crazy boyfriend to keep his safety on?"

Sibella starts to look at you with concern as well. "This has been a VERY stressful night for Cadet Anon, please understand Winnie. He's undoubtedly feeling a bit on edge right now."

Sibella reaches for your hands and gently pushes the gun down to point at the road. The last thing anybody needs is it accidentally going off in a friend's face.

"Do you not remember anything Winnie?"

"Ummm... not sure what you mean Sibster. Like I said, I just woke up in the forest like... five or ten minutes ago. I was kinda woozy at first but now that my head cleared I feel sharp as a tack." You do have a Longcoat on over your standard military uniform, the coat is one of the distinguishing features of the Spec Ops Elite class that distinguishes you and your team from the common academy students. As soon as they see your coat and hat, or the Eye-Triangle-pin on your collar, they are trained to turn over command of the situation to you and follow your orders, unless a member of the faculty says otherwise.

And yes, the stake is stashed inside. If you turn the coat over to Winnie, you risk either having her find it, or removing it and letting Sibella see it. The stake is NOT standard issue, the stake is one of your own crafting, using the technique that your mother Evelyn taught you.

SO ANON, KEEP THE LONGCOAT ON OR TURN IT OVER TO WINNIE? Y/N?

But in all honesty we should probably just give the stake to Sibella at some point, explain, apologize and let her decide if she wants to keep it or run it through a woodchipper.
>>
>>43533201
>>43533023
Me again.
"You girls got a working woodchipper?"
>>
"These could be useful!" Sibella says as she is rummaging through the back of the shed.

>In addition to the usual gardening tools like rakes, hoes, shovels, spades, and yes a wood chipper (albeit an old one half covered in reddish-brown rust stains), there is also a selection of meat hooks hanging from the ceiling of the shed on chains and several machetes mounted on the wall like pool cues.

"Huh, one of them's missing."

>>43533096
>>43533131
"That's damned peculiar. Any reason you suspect magic? I can get Morton on the comm if you need to talk to him, he's the 'sensitive' of our group."

>Winnie hunches over with her hands on her knees, taking deep labored breaths.
>>
>>43533304
Get ready,transformation incoming.
>>
>>43533304
Check to see if winny is okay
Grab 3 machetes give one to Sibela and keep the other 2 till we know whinny is okay
>>
>>43533351
"I'm just having trouble... gotta catch my breath," Winnie assures you, coughing hard.

Sibella takes a machete and you hang one in your belt, keeping the third in hand at the ready (your rifle is slung on your back on it's shoulder strap).

"Not feeling so hot here guys..." Winnie wheezes, coughs again, and leans against the shed for support. Sibella rushes to her side, trying to see if there's anything she can do.

On the radio, Sebastian sends a transmission; "What's going on over there Anon? Is everyone alright?"
>>
>>43533304
"I think whatever happened to her, might be coming undone. I've never seen her non-fuzzy. I assumed she was one of those 'always on' types."
"You okay Winnie?"
>>
>>43533304
Uh wait a second. Didn't that "Jekyll serum" cause a quick bout of hyperactivity before the beast mode kicks in? You know like the chattering teeth and euphoria mentioned here >>43530562 ?

I would get on the radio and ask, quick as you like.
>>
>>43533461
"Ah shit. I think she's going hypothermic due to lack of fuzz..."
>Give her the coat after taking the stake and handing it to Sibella.
>>
>>43533461
Not an expert but the rifle should be slung over his chest so he can fire it quicker.

Try to help her/examine her to see whats wrong but be ready.
>>
>>43533461
Move away ready silver rounds in rifle take a kneeling position and prepare to fire
>>
>>43533504
Interesting. Wonder if it could transform a werewolf temporarily or if it was a mix of things.
>>
>>43533504
Sebastian sounds concerned as you relate the observable symptoms to him.

"Anon... if you can, carefully, check for discoloration of the tongue."

>>43533543
>Open wide and say 'awww'
>Winnie's tongue is bright blue.

"GET HER IN THE SHED NOW. LOCK HER INSIDE. USE EVERY LOCK AND CHAIN YOU HAVE!"

"HURRY MAN, YOUR LIFE IS AT STAKE!!!"
>>
>>43533626
>Shit, better do it, apologize to Winnie as we do. Promise her icecream after this is over or something.
>>
>>43533626
Grab sibella and throw her out

Take a quick look around for Wolfsbane in case you can feed her enough to take her down non-lethally

Use the chains from the meathooks to tie the shed closed.

Try not to cry

Move your ass, cadet, you have a lot to do and not a lot of time to do it.
>>
>>43533626
"Hah!"
>Make sure Sibella's out
>Put her in the shed ASAP
>Chain that stuff up
>>
>>43533626
Can we kneecap her with silver bullets?
If no lock her as securly as possible grab Sibela and that herbicide and attempt to breach an entrance
>>
>>43533626
If we knock her out while shes still human would it buy us time or would she wake up when the transformation complete?
>>
>>43533688
We should try to avoid shooting her as our first option.

Whether to not we can bring her down, we know the formula will wear off eventually. If we can't incapacitate her we can run like hell and try to wait it out.
>>
>>43533734
>>43533688
Seriously just jam the stake into the chains and blut the sharp end so it seals the thing crudely.
>>
>>43533654
"Hey~!" Winnie grunts in pain as she is tossed roughly onto the floor of the shed. "What are you doing Anon? Help me!"

She's sweating profusely now, her jaw clenched tearing at her sleeves and tanktop. Fangs protrude grotesquely from her mouth like some Japanese demon. Her fingernails curve into black claws, her hands sprouting a layer of brown hair.

"Helllppp meeeee~!! Ahhhh-huuaahh-hhaaa!!"

"SIBELLA YOU BITCH! DON'T YOU LEAVE ME BEHIND LIKE THIS! I'LL FIND YOUUUU! I'LL FIND YOU AND FUCKING KILL YOU BOTH!!!"

>Anon closes the door and wraps the chains around the outside of the shed, hearing the inhuman animal howls and sounds of muscle tearing, bones snapping and skin ripping apart muffled inside.

Sibella has her hands clapped over her ears trying to block it out. She's blinking rapidly to hold back tears. "Oh, Anon, what can we do for her...? I can't listen to this, it's awful!"
>>
>>43533872
"Well we can shoot her set the shed and her on fire or leave take your pick"
>>
>>43533872
"Hey, Sebastian, how long does that serum take to wear off?"
>>
>>43533872
>"Oh, Anon, what can we do for her...?"
"We can make sure she doesn't wake up tomorrow wearing our insides. She'll be fine, but we need to be a few miles away about thirty seconds ago, think you have one more joy ride in you, Babe?"
>>
>>43533872
We should have used our +1 to hardassedness to hit her with the but of the gun and knock her out.
>>
>>43533872
The great dream of the harem ending is slipping away.

Did we get anything useful from the shed besides the machetes?

Poor Winnie...
>>
>>43533872
It'll be fine. Once her body finishes metabolizing it Sibella.
>Hand her the stake
I brought this in case something did something did something like that to you.
But your body doesn't work the way Winnie, Elsa or mine does.

...Honestly this has me worried that the living things out here are more of a threat to the undead things.
>If she starts about us not trusting her
Please, we both know staking isn't enough to kill something from Dracula's bloodline.
I told you, non-lethal.
I just really want to make sure I'm not in the position to do step two.
Let's get inside yeah?
>Motion to the house
>>
>>43534036
Why do people want to keep giving up the stake?

Its better to have and not need, then need and not have.
>>
>>43534036
Well let's be honest, a wooden stake in anythings heart except for a zombie i guess would be lethal
>>
>>43534061
Toonspew wrote some lore on another chan about the ghoul girls.
Not sure if hes following it for the quest but if so,stakes just stun vampires until removed
>>
>>43534058
I'm the anon that made the"grab the Stake"idea in the first thread. I didn't think it would be taken this far. it was more or less to have an emergency melee weapon by our side
>>
>>43533963
>>43533915
If we go with leave and Sibella can fly us somewhere, probably a good idea to go up. The roof or upper floors of the school will put some distance between us and the Roidwolf (when she breaks out of that shitty wooden shed) without impeding our progress too much.
>>
>>43534022
Only idiots and incompetents chase harem endings anon. Harem ending is all of the girls passive aggressively hanging onto the protag while daring each other to let go out of barely concealed malice due to time sink. They -have- to win.
So they sabatoge each other's and cosequently the protagonist's possible happiness out of greed, delusion and jealousy.
All because the protagonist is too much of a pussy to say anything or flat so out of touch with his own feelings that he can't differentiate between romantic love and "platonic love I have for a girl I'm not related to, and is not hideous."
Is that what you want?
>>
>>43534138
Well put anti-harem anon, well put indeed. You get a virtual cookie.

You also recovered a large watering can full of herbicide. It's enough to sprinkle through the large Grimwood vegetable garden. It's NOT enough to blanket the entire school with.

>>43534036
>>43534058
I'm not seeing a clear consensus on the stake so for the time being I'm going to stick with the roll that was made, unless people want to put it to a vote.

>>43533929
"Normally about twelve hours, but that's talking about a normal human metabolism. I have no idea how it might interact with a werewolf's biochemistry. Although I'd hazard a guess that it's probably unpleasant for everyone involved."

>POSSIBLE DIRECTIONS TO GO:
>Hack your way into the school's front door
>Weedkiller your way into the crypt entrance that leads to Sibella and Tanis' rooms
>Climb the weeds up Elsa's tower and break in through a window
>Forget the school and move on through the bog directly to Revolta's castle.

What say you Anon?
>>
>>43534179
Weed killer into the crypt.
Gotta get Sibella a snack before she faints after all.
>>
>>43534179
Let's climb the weeds... Elsa would probably have something useful right?
>>
>>43534179
Let us enter the crypt maybe we can find something on the book used to raise the dead and of coarse things to tease Sibela about
>>
>>43534179
>Climb the weeds up Elsa's tower and break in through a window
Still voting for asking if she can fly us one last time >>43534134 >>43533963

She can refuel once we're inside and I'm not really hoping to race a super werewolf just climbing.
>>
>>43534179
Can we get to Miss Grimwood from Elsa's tower? Our objectives are blood for Sibella, meet Miss Grimwood and check the place for other girls, in that order if possible. We want Sibella well fed so shes strong enough to help and not eyeing our neck.
>>
>>43534216
Her room, I mean of course
>>
>>43534238
Unless the blood has been tainted or stolen anon.
Let's not force a freakout yeah?
>>
>>43534179
>>43534247
Since Revolta had time to steal the potion and set up the Tanis trap I doubt we will find the other girls unless Revolta wants us to.

Want to run it by the bat-fu?

Miss Grimwood's office, where Sibella believes she is probably protected behind magical wards, would be located on the ground floor of the school. Shortest route would be through the front door, but it's hard to be sure because of the maze that the vines have made of the school's interior. On a long enough time scale you could hack your way from anywhere inside the school to anywhere else, but it's a question of whether or not you can do so in a short enough time that you don't exhaust yourself (or get eaten).

Sibella says she can fly you some more, but asking for MILES is out of the question. Short-distance flights only.

Same reason she doesn't just explode in sunlight.
The original Dracula (from the story) just became functionally mortal during the day. Revised methods of death not withstanding.
Given that Sibella can actually use her vampire powers under the sun, this basically means she already is or has serious potential of being a way stronger vampire than her dad.
>>
>>43534382
Alright. So, quickest route to the midnight snacks then?
>>
>>43534440
That would be breaking into the crypt. Sibella keeps a private reserve of food in a mini-fridge she shares with Tanis.

Can Winne break out of the shed? I wonder if silver would even work on her. She isnt technically a werewolf now.
>>
>No Winnie. I mean I care, but if I give you my coat you'll get meth on it then I'll be cold.
>What Sibella? Jeez, alright hon. Let's get you a bite. It cool if I just cut my hand open, and give you about 8-12 oz, so I know you're tided over in the meantime? Well, I tried.

You and Sibella rush to the basement entrance, dumping out the bucket of weed-killing poison onto the mass of vines that have clogged the basement cellar entrance at the rear of the building. Whatever Ms. Grimwood uses for her gardening, it's absolutely toxic, and eats into the plant matter like concentrated acid.

The vines visibly squirm in pain like worms dropped onto a hot sidewalk and shrink back from contact with the stuff. By the time it's over the cellar door is clear save for a puddle of vegetable-mush that Sibella politely hovers over to avoid getting her slippers dirty. You, unfortunately, have to wade through it like a normal person.

Sibella keeps a key on her of course, as this is basically her shared apartment. You think back briefly to all the times she's snuck you in here after curfew, before your breakup. She opens the door for you and ushers you inside, quickly locking the heavy wood and metal door behind you. You didn't trust the shed to hold Winnie for long, but this door at least should last for quite some time.

Once inside, Sibella snaps her fingers and a half dozen candles set around the room spring to life, bringing up the lighting to a comfortable orange glow. You walk past a small antechamber that serves as a cloak room and into the common area shared with Tanis. The decor is mostly gothic as Sibella has been living here for five years now, but a few Egyptian artifacts hanging on the walls and a large golden sarcophagus standing in one corner show that the arrival of Tanis has left it's impact as well.

"Go ahead, have a seat," Sibella invites you to make yourself comfortable on her couch. She retreats towards a dimly lit alcove where you remember her coffin is hidden, along with her more personal belongings and the bloodpacks in her fridge.

"I'd prefer if you didn't watch me eating, if you don't mind. I'd hate it if I made a mess of myself in front of you."
>>
>>43534725
Inspect the place for weapons and loot mostly check Tanis's stuff as Sibela is right there

How stressed or tired are we? Current mood?
What are we carrying? Ammo count? Any provisions or medicine? Custom equipment?
Call back to HQ to confirm we are safe, ask if they found out anything else about Winnie status.
Check on Sybella against her wishes.
Check her figure and reminice about when that was within our grasp

I think I'll keep going with this thread for the time being, it keeps it contained and easier to reference in the weeks to come.

>>43542630
Not a bad place to recap, certainly.

1. Anon is on edge; a lesser man would have broken down by now, but Anon was raised by vampire hunter parents then personally tutored by a "General Ripper" character in Col. Calloway, so Anon is hard beyond his years. Even still, the adventure so far has pushed Anon to his limits and the signs of paranoia are setting in. In particular his trigger finger is noticeably itchy, and he's been concealing a wooden stake in his coat since the start of the adventure, even though his closest ally at this point is Sibella Dracula. You are currently taking a short breather in Sibella's basement apartment, the familiarity of which soothes your nerves slightly. Physically you're fine, the most strenuous thing you've done is marching down the road for a couple miles.

2.Apart from the aforementioned stake, Anon is carrying a service rifle currently loaded with silver ammo (7 shots remaining out of an 8-round clip... Anon threw one at Winnie earlier). He's got one clip of regular bullets and one clip of natron-treated rounds, said to be effective against zombies and the undead. He recently picked up a pair of machetes from the Grimwood gardening shed. Sibella took a third, and a fourth was already missing from it's place.

3. Sebastian is greatly relieved to hear that you successfully locked Winnie in the shed, and theorizes that the Jekyll Serum temporarily suppressed her werewolfism, which have now returned with a vengeance as the serum's secondary effects have kicked in. His best guess is that Winnie will be locked into a fit of aggression and cruelty for the next few hours at least, followed by an unfortunate hangover in the morning. The best thing for her is isolation.
>>
>>43543081
I figured we would have grabbed more natron rounds.

From your seat on her sofa you can faintly here Sibella in her bedroom recess rummaging through her fridge. The familiar feminine purrs and whimpers coming from your former girlfriend become intermingled with animal gnashing of teeth and famished liquid slurping, like someone drowning face-down in a bowl of soup trying to eat their way towards oxygen.

You sneak a glance at her, suspecting that Sibella will be too reoccupied to watch for violations of her privacy. You're right; Sibella's eyes are glassy, staring straight ahead as her sense of taste and the great relief from her hunger washes over her. Red blood is smeared over her chin and fingers and dribbles down over the front of her dress, soaking her bosom especially and turning it into a clingy mess that perfectly reveals the curves and points of her breasts. Sibella is breathing heavily in the afterglow of her meal, languidly licking the traces of it from her cherry-red lips.

Her lavender skin tone flushes a slightly deeper purple as the nourishment circulates throughout her body. Sibella runs her hands down her torso, making a soft pleasured sound as she touches her hourglass waist and wide hips. You remember what that felt like, to follow the soft curve of her derriere with your hands as you held her against you in the privacy of this very crypt.

Sibella hiccups, and this seems to break her out of her trance. She looks about and notices you watching her, and then realizes what a mess she's made of herself. A brief flash of embarrassment and anger pass across her face before she turns her nose up in your direction.

"Cadet, I asked you not to watch that! I'll have to change my clothes now... I do hope I can trust you not to follow me into my wardrobe?"

You've gotten to second base with Sibella a bunch of times at the height of your dating period, and got to third base a couple of times too (but the clothing stayed on for that).

>>43543763
Sibella nods politely and slinks away into her bedroom alcove to change. You can hear her moving about and washing herself in a sink as there is no door separating you, just a corner of the wall. Sibella starts to sing softly to herself.

>>43543796
You pass the time by making an inventory of all the recent decor changes that Tanis' brought with her when she moved in.

None of it looks immediately useful. It wouldn't surprise you to learn that some of these ancient items were cursed or magical somehow, but you're not an expert on occult traditions like Cadet Morton is. The hieroglyphics are just quaint pictographs to you.

You figure the contents of the display case over her bed (sarcophagus, that is) would be important, and in a sense they are, being canopic jars containing Tanis' liver, pancreas, uterus, and kidneys. Not useful as far as you can see, but you're sure Tanis would be pretty pissed off if you messed with them.

There is a pedestal where Tanis normally keeps the Necronomicon for easy reading, which is notably bare.

Poking around you find a hidden compartment in the base of Tanis' sarcophagus. Inside is a diary (written in hieroglyphics) and a collection of "Monster High" dolls and accessories. The "Cleo" doll is heavily mangled.
>>
>>43544063
See if we can raise Morton for a translation see if she noticed anything odd today or in the previous week and take the doll even if she's mind controlled she might recognize it

In case it becomes important later, what do we know about Sybella? That only we or people really close to her do, of course.
Hopes, dreams, embarassing facts, pet names, guity pleasures? Stuff like that.

She likes cloonys Bat-nipples

Was it the nipples, the codpiece, or that she sees herself as a supernatural seductress with you as her batman?

You could copy it out by hand, but that would be pretty time consuming. You don't normally have a smart phone on you when you're in uniform unfortunately, the Col. wants to enforce mental discipline in his students and doesn't allow them, so no easy way to snap a photo.

Sibella (not Sybella) feels that she is a forgotten middle-child in the very extensive Dracula family tree, made worse by being a Dhampir (she had a human mother) and feels looked down on by her siblings for being a half-breed. She is starved for contact with her father and feels her three step-mothers are outright hostile towards her, and was raised mostly by her older sisters and television. Her idol is "Nocturna", a late-night TV horror-host in the same vein as Vampira and Elvira, whom is the inspiration for her sultry American accent that she uses 99% of the time (the only time she slips back into her native Romanian accent is when she's very, very upset). Sibella loves being in America and at Grimwood because instead of being forgotten, she's instead treated as a minor celebrity for her family history. Winnie calls her "Sibster" and Phantasma calls her "Sibby", I'll leave Anon to decide on his own pet names for her. But she despises being called "Bella", thinking it sounds like "Bela", a male name. Guilty pleasures include being a Batman-fangirl (and yes, the codpieces and bat-nipples play a role in that). She took a long time to learn to fly as a bat, and is still working on getting her driver's license.

You get Morton on the radio and begin reading back the most recent passages of Tanis' diary for him to work on translating. Before you can get through more than a few lines, you hear Sibella scream.

>Dhampir
What does this entail? Apart from her parent species.
What is her reaction to objects that normally harm vampires?
Does she has strenghts and weaknesses pureblooded vampired do not?
Are they inmortal?
If she gave you "the gift" what difference would it make if she was pureblooded? Would we become Dhampir too or pureblooded?
Sorry if these kinds of posts break the flow. I will stop them if you want.

You drop what you're doing and round the corner, machete in hand. Sibella is wearing only her panties and stockings, holding a fresh dress against her front as she backs away from the standing wardrobe dressing-screen set in the corner of the room.

From a vent in the corner of the ceiling, several brown vines of the same kind that have choked the entire school have grown into the room. One of the vines ends in a eye-stalk with a bulbous human eye that is staring and blinking at Sibella and now yourself as well.

It's fine, I don't think the thread is moving at such a fast pace that I can't take the time to establish this sort of stuff.

Being a dhampir means that Sibella has never known life as a normal human girl, so many things that other vampires miss about their old lives, like eating normal food, Sibella has no concept of. Her biggest benefit of being half-human is that she doesn't need to feed as often as a full vampire does and MIGHT be able to exist indefinitely in a sickly, anemic state if she chooses not to feed. Also, she can survive walking outside during daylight hours, though her skin is still sensitive and she only attempts to tan under a full moon. She is able to handle most of the usual vampiric powers now, but it has taken a lot of training with Ms. Grimwood to master them and it did not come naturally to her like it did for her siblings.
Sibella has intense allergic reactions to garlic and holy water seems to affect her like pepper-spray. Silver has no affect on her and crosses she just thinks are 'tacky".

CHOP CHOP

The eyestalk vine makes a sound like a small mouse being squeezed to death as you dismember it. It drops to the ground and squirms until you crush the eyeball under your boot.

Sibella has her hands full of her dress and you've got Tanis' diary in hand, but where to retreat to?

>Go back outside where Winnie is locked in the garden shed?
>Try to move up through the school and find Ms. Grimwood's office?

What is the difference between she and her sisters then? Weren't they also born as vampires?
