Standing on the massive stone platform you crafted for the Elven colony ship to sit upon briefly enables you to look out across the battlefield. The rolling hills that the remaining armies do battle on are the slowly skeletonizing remains of the fallen. The Nazis and the scorpion demons that you took control over are hardly able to maintain their defensive line now that the armies have been whittled down to just five armies.
The mages of the oceanic army constantly generate massive tidal waves to scatter their enemies and carry their troops forward. The scorpion demons have been reinforced by staggering numbers of four armed demons and demons riding bestial giant scorpions. The winged figures in the distance clash on the ground in the air as the giant succubus leads her forces against the others.
“Repairs have been completed on the retrieved vessel’s hull,” Hestia says via your bond interrupting your investigation of the armies, “The residents are denying access to the interior of their ship. Perhaps your presence will abate their concerns.”
Hestia then, with a fair bit of pride in her cleverness, once again uploads her reports to you through the link you share with her. Having experienced it once before the sudden shock of the massive data stream is greatly reduced.

Six armies, you are forced to correct yourself as a new army rises from the corpses and joins the fray, a massive army of corpses rise from the hills of the fallen. The surprise attack has disrupted the flow of the battle giving a moment of peace to the desperate Nazis. What seems concerning to you however is that you sense neither life nor unlife from this newly arrived army.
You consider sending the Nazis back to someplace safer in your control but there are still six armies to deal with here. Hestia has also asked for help dealing with the elves and you have an outstanding promise with Evangeline.

All your ‘paladins’ for named characters can heal or drain life, and gain a flat % damage reduction and damage increase in addition to their other powers. The will retain the generic control over all the stuff you can do but specifically here are updates for these three -
Ayla’s ‘paladin’ status is still in flux, it will develop as she explores the power you’ve granted her. She can have implants now.
Tslah is no longer a ‘paladin’ for you. Her power has developed into ‘Blood Avatar’ she will gain power related to blood, right now she has mastery over blood equivalent to elemental avatar. You will be able to grant follows her subset of powers now as well.
Izulu also drops ‘paladin’ status and instead starts the first steps to becoming an ‘angel’ for you. Her damage with electricity is vastly improved and as per your new ability she gets ‘negative’ electricity. She also gets elemental avatar powers over light and sound. She can have implants now.

You look over to Ayla, she is playing around with the new elements your power has granted to her. Tiny golems of pure poison etch the stone as they assault a golem made of sound waves. They all get absorbed by a black hole golem and Ayla giggles at her own game.
“We need to go to the Nazis, are you ready?” you ask her, which makes her dissipate all the elements.
“Master~ you were ignoring me to talk to Hestia,” She pouts at you, “no fair I want to be with you again.”
“You are with me right now,” you say, which makes her frown, and she uses her shape shifting to way over exaggerate it.
“I mean like before, this is different it doesn’t feel as close,” Ayla tries to communicate the feeling to you by waving her hands about, “My turn is next ok?”

Once again using your domain to force the warring armies apart you quickly bring Ayla safely over to the Nazi’s. On the way over she drops the pointy ears and shape shifts into a Nazi herself to blend in, the uniform she generates is nearly bursting the buttons in the chest area. You doubt that the disguise would pass at all, so it is probably better that you have the Nazi’s under your control already.
The three Nazi commands salute you when you approach them, despite them not having seen you outside the elemental form. You may have put a bit too much compulsion into them.
“Ah greetings have we been recalled early?” The psychic asks.
“Yes but before you go, tell me why are you after the deed?” you try one last time to see if they may have hidden away this information.
“We are not told the plans of the Ariosophists, we just obey,” the occult scientist tells you.
“Scans complete,” Hestia echoes to you, “teleportation engaged.”
And that quickly the Nazis and your scorpion demons are gone, they should be fine in the demon city for now. So you turn to the army of creatures that suddenly appeared from the piles of corpses, you can’t feel that they are alive but despite being corpses you don’t think they are undead either.
Despite the distance you scan their ranks, a particularly large form tears free from a nearby hill. It looks roughly like a dragon, but again it lacks the massive life force you feel from Nantosuelta.

Despite your distance from the zombie dragon you start channeling mana for your laser, Ayla senses what you are doing and retreats a safe distance behind you and raises several elemental shields to protect herself.

The energy released is nothing like your lasers before, it feels like a pure extension of yourself. The wave of energy causes the very fabric of reality in this level of hell to ripple. You feel the leaders of the other armies turn their attention onto you as they take cover. The zombie dragon is unable to dodge your attack in time and takes the blast of energy on head on. The resulting blast nearly knocks you down and all but one of Ayla’s shields are shattered. The other armies managed to mostly take cover in time, the oceanic army raised a massive wave of water to form a shield costing them the majority of their mage’s mana. On the horizon more fiery demons stride into battle, the few they lost seems to not be a problem to them.
A massive crater is all that remains of the zombie dragon and its army of strange flesh constructs, you feel only the slightest increase in power from the few demons that got caught in the blast. So it seems that the zombie things really were neither alive nor undead.

The power of the lost souls fills you, despite trying to take cover thousands died in the blast of your attack. The armies of the ‘dragons’ and the succubus seem to be completely unaffected but the oceanic army is trying to recover their position. You are free to move through the battlefield without random attacks from the demon armies.
“Too much power master!” Ayla admonishes you, “what about the baby, you can’t explode it.”
Ayla holds her stomach and smiles, she thinks about how to be first.
The demons are beginning to recover as you close on the swirling mass of water that the oceanic army is using to launch their attacks from. Large demons that resemble the fish beasts surge out of the water to engage in battle while magic swirls about and raises another wave. Demons similar to manta rays leap out of the water, they look like smaller versions of the demons you encountered in the third layer of hell. The last creatures of notice that you see are massive snakes, they nip at each other as they raise from the water, you count at least nine of them and their heads resemble that of the water dragon you battled before.
Just to be sure you don’t miss your plans with Evangeline you check what time it is, nine in the morning according to the day and night cycle of the artificial sun you had constructed. You should have plenty of time to do what you want to do here.

Ayla again shape shifts to a new costume to match the ocean theme this army has, nets and shells don’t provide much cover for her body. You ignore her enticing look and try to focus on the army, much of the command structure seems to be instincts. The few demons that have enough intelligence to think for themselves are the mages. The blast you with ice and water as you get closer their distress increases as their attacks prove to be useless. You are able to easily able to use the water around you to form a barrier to keep the demons a safe distance from Ayla as you corner one of the mages.
“Where is your leader?” You ask the mage, they are unable to understand English.
“The endless armies of the ocean will overcome all, even the mightiest stone is worn away by the waves,” the mage says, their language is very strange sounding as though never meant to be spoken in the open air.
“Where is your leader?” You ask again in their tongue, the mage thinks of below.
Before you can ask about below the ground rumbles and the many lives deeper in the water begin to scatter about making room for something much larger than the snakes, which this closely you suspect are all one creature, a hydra perhaps.
A truly massive merfolk creature rises up from the depths of the water. Tentacles that wouldn’t be out of place on an octopus sprout at random from its body and it wields a truly impressive magical trident.
“Speak human,” the creature says in a distorted sounding dialect of old English, “you seem stronger than your kind usually is.”
You think that his mind is being protected by something that he is wearing so it will not be easy to try and mind control him.

”Why are you here waging war?” You ask the giant merfolk to distract him while you try to indentify the magic items he has.
“Freedom, I have grown in power enough to fight here until I become lord,” the merfolk giant says, “I will build a new water filled hellscape that is not infested with vermin.”
As he explains why the third layer of hell is terrible because of the water’s depth and the terrible things that lurk those depths you keep identifying his things. He has strange thing that refuses your attempts to learn what it is you think it is shielding his mind however, but the trident he wields is fairly powerful it grants him immunities to water and frost as well as some elemental weaknesses to fire and lightning. The interference from the other artifact is disrupting learning more. He also has a ring inset with yellow and red pearls that vastly improve his resistance to fire and lightning, to cover for the weaknesses that trident introduces.
“And so I am sure that you agree that the ocean there is unsuitable for us,” the merfolk finishes talking about the third layer of hell.
“So then you know who the lord here is and have a plan to kill the lord no doubt?” you ask.
“Ah but that is the trick here, there is no lord as far as I can tell,” the merfolk says, “the armies rise and fall but none seem to gain the power of the lord.”
“This is why I’ve been creating this reservoir,” he tells you, “surely the deed is simply long since buried under the mountain of corpses.”

“You say that the oceans of hell are infested with vermin, but I have killed the lord there so it should now be easy to alter the conditions to your liking,” you start your offer to the giant merfolk.
“Little human, you claim to have killed that thing with its bulk and regeneration and ask for an alliance?” the merfolk chuckles, “I felt that recent blast so I will entertain you, for now.”
The aquatic demons plunge into the depths of the water filled excavation and the water begins to freeze over.
“I will send scouts to verify your claims,” the merfolk says, “We will emerge if you are able to pacify the remaining forces here.”
The giant merfolk creature dives down himself before the water completely freezes over. You can sense the ice grows several feet thick, to the point where it is unlikely that most things could shatter the barrier. The aquatic demons sink deeper and deeper into their excavation and return to carving into the mountain of corpses in their attempts to locate the hell deed.
“Now what master?” Ayla asks you, “Are we going to attack someone else?”

The image of a man walking around where there is nothing but war checking his watch constantly amuses me.
Thankfully it’s only been an hour or so, plenty of time left before dinner. That merfolk seemed reasonable enough but was very talkative.
“Why don’t we look into the dragon creatures now,” you tell Ayla.
“Let’s go to the fire demons it’ll be easy to beat them up!” Ayla frowns at your choice of armies to battle, probably due to the fact that the ‘dragons’ are engaged in battle with the succubi.
Despite her protests you slide across the ice towards the succubi and dragons. There are demons flying around blasting the ‘dragons’ with mainly lust magic but it doesn’t seem particularly effective. The ‘dragons’ fight back with various elemental attacks , but just when it looks like they have a succubus killed there is a surge of energy that feels like souls to you. The energy restores the fallen succubi and brings them back into fighting condition.
You spot a woman with wings directing the ‘dragons’. Up closer now you doubt that the flying lizards are really dragons, the swarm of creatures are much too small and weak to be real dragons. They could be something related perhaps though, wyverns of various size. Larger flightless ones battle their way across the ground, while their smaller brethren fly around.
When you turn back to the woman you see her with her sword raised and pointed at you, she is charging an attack while the swarm of flying wyverns around her charge your direction. Her face is twisted in disgust just from looking at you.

“Ayla, stay behind me,” you say while focusing your domain around you to protect against whatever sort of attack is coming your way. At the same time you make the air between the succubi and the wyverns become more and more solid, forming a vast wall that neither side can penetrate. This only enrages the winged woman more, a blue light begins to surround her as she empowers her attack even more than she was going to originally. Three vast balls of black fire surge forth towards you, burning the wyverns unlucky enough to now have escaped from the path of the attack.
Ayla gasps in surprise and tries to counter attack with blasts of magma, but the power of her spells do nothing to stop the black fireballs.
Inside your domain the fireballs continue to fly towards you, seemingly unimpeded. You raise a barrier of pure gravity to protect against the fireballs. The energy nearly overwhelms your black hole shield even with your domain supporting it.
“I just wanted to talk to you,” you call out to the angry woman, trying to get a dialog going.

The woman snarls at you and scales start sprouting from her skin as her form shifts. You try to read her mind at this point, but if she was intelligent you can’t tell any longer. Her mind is filled with nothing but rage and disgust at your existence, she had worked so hard to accomplish what she has but seeing elf filth being mated with a true dragon has pushed her over the edge. You reach up and feel your ears, right you forgot that you still had longer ears from dealing with the elves.
From the way her mind is fracturing you doubt that any attempts to control her will work unless you had another target for the rage. She roars when she finishes her transformation, she has turned into a massive wyvern, her power is truly impressive in this form it is possibly even higher than Nana’s. The power of the angry roar drives her wyvern army into a berserk rage and they start ripping each other apart. You hear the succubi army stop attacking your wall of air to laugh at the sight of the wyverns destroying themselves.

You don’t even seem what happens next as the wyvern moves faster than you can see sending you tumbling into the air before blasting fireballs everywhere, the black fire explodes against your wall of air, it holds protecting the succubi but Ayla is in trouble. Ayla is expending vast amounts of mana to protect herself from the rain of fire. Before you can use your elemental control to recover the wyvern has you pinned to the ground by the neck, her blue aura growing even brighter as she prepares an attack.

Using your command of the elements you push the wyvern off of you, but the instant it recovers the wyvern slams you back into the ground faster than you can react. As its rage builds the wyvern is getting more and more powerful, at this point you can’t even react in time to attempt to attack the wyvern.
