Forever GM, wants to be a player

Stars Without Number, Eclipse Phase, Apocalypse World, CoC. Usually prefer sci fi but wouldn't mind a fantasy game, it's been a while.

>Availability and timezones
In EST, usually available on afternoons/evenings, but not reliably on weekends.

RP heavy - Not ERP, but focus is less on murderhoboing and more about interacting with the world around you. Running and managing a shop, participating in politics, and even starting a settlement are all valid options. Setting is standard medieval fantasy.

Game won't be starting anytime soon, but I've been having an itch to run Warbirds after reading it from a friend. Because airborne combat in a slightly post WW2 but alternate dimension is fucking dieselpunk as all hell and I like me some aerial dogfights.

Posted this up in the previous thread but didn't get much response. Hoping to get more after reposting. For those who don't know, Warbirds is an RPG focusing on air dogfights with WW2-era planes. Players play the role of a mercenary pilot in customised planes taking a variety of jobs to earn fame or fortune. (think Area 88 but instead of jets, with propeller planes and airships.)The rules are light and easy to learn quickly, not taking longer than 2 hours to fully understand everything in a single read-through.

This Friday 7PM GMT onward for the first game.

I want to run some Talislanta oneshots for people unfamiliar with it. It's a rather unique game with some interesting systems and a really fantastical, alien setting, and I'd like to introduce it to /tg/. Rules are easy to learn and chargen takes about two minutes even for first-time players.

Bullshit or sorcery.

It does if ya roll it and dont bother with backstories I guess. A few dice throws and ya have yer character

You pick one of 60-odd archetypes (each archetype is basically a ready made 'starting character') then modify by taking a skill or increasing one that the archetype has. You're good to go.

I prepared a fairly bare bones setting. A single continent with some different kingdoms of different alignments and stuff.
I kept the "lore" and stuff to a bit of a minimum to allow people to play about whatever kind of character they want (within reason) while also allowing for some context to the setting.
I'm not really restricting races or classes, but no furry characters please. 10% ones are okay. Just personal preference.
The game won't be too heavily plot or hacknslash focused outright. There'll be a starter town with some stuff going on, some different things to check out.
The party can meet, team up... Kill some bandits, explore a dungeon, investigate some happenings, whatever.
I'm hoping we can have a good time and build up to some greater adventures.
All I really ask is that you're on time and don't take forever making a character. No flakes, please.

So yeah, email if interested. If you're accepted, you'll get my Skype by Friday and the group chat will be put together then.

would ask how to Greentext, but I guess for simplicity's sake...

Player... never really played one of them old time tabletop RPGs, preferred system... no preference, would like to try to get into Shadowrun but dunno if I could even commit to it. I'm available almost all the time... except when I'm not.

my contact info is the Skype name "argroh.valdios" (inb4 loads of trolls start adding me)

again, still havn't played much in terms of an RPG like this so... go easy, alright?

This is a fusion campaign that mixes D20 Future mechanics, gear and items with Pathfinder rule sets and classes.

This is a fast paced Borderlands campaign setting that will end up taking the characters through a Jurassic Park like setting isolated from the rest of Pandora, and will eventually lead off planet if people survive. Expect lots of elemental guns, shield generators, and other technology that's not normally used in typical Pathfinder campaigns. Your character is a Vault Hunter, and his class abilities are what make him unique.

>But DM, guns suck shit in Pathfinder
It's Borderlands, and as such, reloading a gun is a move action. You can take it down to swift pretty easily. Or use crossbows with exploding bolts or seeking bows.

>But DM, I don't want to reload one shot of my pistol per round
You won't have to. We've got magazines and strippers that can load the whole gun in one go. Unless of course it's a single shot gun.

>I want to play something bizarre, like a Mechromancer or a Loader Bot.

We'll talk. Everything is possible.

When I first started GMing for /tg/ I had to split my players into groups, one of Americans and another of the Euros/Aussies. The latter would often sit in on the former's games just for the hell of it, but never vice versa.

I think non-Americans are just more creative maybe?
>>
>>43459099
Now tentatively at three travelling troublemakers. We have room for more. Probably going to turn this into a campaign after y'all get used to the mechanics.

GM looking for 2-3 players
Contact via skype: Mutie94
The initial sessions will be done with text-based communication only. May progress to video-chat when everyone is comfortable enough.

System: Homebrew (simple 1d10 system)

I'll run any of the following settings:
1. Star Wars (original trilogy style)
2. Gotham / Batman (as villains or heroes)
3. Harry Potter (students, slice of life, mystery)

Will be able to run at least one-two nights in the week. Hours will vary depending on everyone's availability. May have it as a long-term RP which is post-based, meaning we don't have to all be on at the same time; just post semi-frequently.

If you contact me on Skype put a message in that you're from /tg/
