Share sites that make 3rd party bits for converting. I have a bunch but I know I've seen more elsewhere.

I bought some stuff from them earlier this year with no issues. July is when I did it. Haven't ordered anything from them since though.

How Heresy didn't make the list I don't know! But it's still a great list OP.

I know right? So much heresy.

Vic's stuff is absolutely top notch, her shipping is cheap and quick, and quality rivals forgeworld on the newer resin kits.

I ordered their Stormraven conversion kit in January of this year. After 2 months of waiting I emailed them to ask wtf. I got a curt, unprofessional reply. A month or so later the kit arrived. Its warped, has fingerprints cast into the surface, and doesnt fit the model well at all. Id have been much better off using plasticard.

I run a smattering of Tau as inquisitorial henchmen and counts as guardsmen in my radical xenos army.

Should I pick up...probably most of the female tau range from wargameexclusive for special characters and kill team types? I'm really fucking tempted.

Bro wargameexclusive is fucking awesome. I have the alternate Castelan heads and the 48mm techpriestess, amazing model and bits. Hot ass commissars with big titays, half naked techpriestesses, sexy inquisitors, and shit tons of chaos marine bits for themed armies. What's not to like? They're fuckin legit. I hope they really start to expand here soon because I want to see more from them.

Sweet mother of fuck. I really need some of these models.
This among my Slaaneshis and Emps Kiddies would look great.
>>
>>43429383
I have this one, excellent model. Needs a bigger base than 28mm and some reinforcement though, as that little grouping of cables wont hold her up by itself very well. Anyone who plays any army has extra cable type bits lying around though. Heck you could even green stuff some.
>>
What do you guys think i should use for inquisition crusaders?

€275

So, yes.
>>
>>43429810
Yes, you are, because it clearly says 275,00. Two zeros, not three.
Europe uses commas instead of periods before change.
>>
>>43429844
>>43429839
Damn.
He would of made a sweet Azrael.
>>
>>43429866
I also understand the price now.
They only made one model apparently

I didn't realize it was such an elitist site
>>
>>43428869
You're a hero. I've been looking for decent autoguns/pistols for ages
>>
Am I the only one surprised there hasnt really been any attempts at making sci fi or fantasy conversion bits for historicals? Other than west wind who make parts for their own kits, I havent seen any marketed to working with the various plastic sets out there.

like some sci fi heads and guns would make napoleonic minis be perfect IG/AM models
>>
>>43432640
Victoria Lamb's stuff tends to fit with historical minis very nicely. I knew a guy who would slap her laser rifle arms onto Warlord's plastic German kits and they looked badass.
>>
>>43432640
Why would you need specific parts to do that, not just any sci-fi heads and weapons?
>>
>>43432670
>Why would you need specific parts to do that, not just any sci-fi heads and weapons?

using parts compatible with 40k would look god awful on true scale historicals

>>

>>
>>43434154
Bro this board is like 75% warhams.
>>
So ah, this may not be the right place to ask, but do those Chinese 40K knockoff websites still exist for poorfags such as I?
>>
>>43434677
No, they don't operate in the open. This is 3rd party, not commiehammer. Most 3rd party stuff isn't made in China, and none of it is direct clones of 40k.

Look around the interwebs for the names Zanchui and Coolcastornot. If you have competent internet searching ability you'll be able to figure it out.
>>
>>43435285
Thanks bro, I already caught wind of "Z-guy," this should narrow it down nicely.

Tyranid bits are probably your best bet. Both in terms of price and options.

Bumpity bump, so that people can see this.

Whats a good place to get naked/scandly clad ladies for a slaanesh cultist squad?
Im thinking brother Vinni. Ive checked hasslefree but they dont have the poses., Id like something a bit dynamic.
>>
Go to Zealot miniatures for mechanicus heads and actually good looking female tau heads.

http://zealotminiatures.com
>>
>>43442661
Brother vinnie, or the wargame exclusive stuff linked earlier.

That said, I mostly use hasslefree.
>>
>>43445570

It was just if anyone else did something that would fit well with female Slaanesh cultists.
Also that woman on a wheel thing will be going on the front of a Rhino. Next thing Im making is Slaanesh Marines and they want a Rhino.
Also its nice that so many 3rd parties want to do thousand sons.
>>
>>43442661
You want Raging Heroes bro, they have literal slaanesh/daemonette equivalent models. They also have some of the best female lines in existence.

http://www.ragingheroes.com/
>>
so this thread is making me realize i have no idea what a good price for conversion bits is.
>>
>>43449265
If you're paying more than 2.50 per body or pair of legs then you're paying too much IMO.
>>
But does ANYWHERE, at all, do felinid parts?
>>
>>43447317
http://www.ragingheroes.com/collections/fantasy/products/asharah-heroine

Im thinking of this and some Preying Mantis chicks, they look really good.
Im thinkinh that Asharah could be a good keeper of secrets.
>>
>>43432640
I had the exact thought and was about to post in this thread. Given that perry miniatures plastics are much cheaper and better proportioned than GW some company needs to produce small subtle conversion bits such as IG heads with bionics, generic rivetted shouler pads and lasgun ends to put on napoleonic rifles.
>>
>>43449369
I think I've seen 1 or 2 catgirl minis. But no catboys and just monopose stuff.

For that it'll probably be easier to convert your own bits. Depending on which interpretation of felinid you want.

>>43444744
Has anyone bought this heads? they look cool, but the description says they are 30mm instead of 28mm like most 40k conversion kits do.
>>
>>43451759
30mm is basically 28mm heroic
>>
>>43451791
This.
GW doesn't actually produce 28mm, except for LotR and Hobbit stuff.
Which makes searching for parts all kinds of fucked up, because 3rd Party Websites label their 40k shit often as 28mm, even though it's not.

Has anyone bought any of the Operator Space Marines from Anvil Industries? If so, what was the quality like?

What's the companies overall quality of bits?
>>
>>43452424
I've bought a fair amount of their guard bits and never had a problem, but I haven't tried their marines.

If the quality is the same though, they'll be great.
>>
>>43447317
Their ork model is great

The sexy girls with guns stuff is good too
