They were al kind of same-y, as I recall, where the kids would meet some new faculty member or local oddity, investigate, something bad or weird would happen involving them, and they'd have to rely on mythology or the suspected monster/myth/etc. to help them out.

Hey guys when I was a kid in the 90's I had this maze book and you had to help these two siblings through these mazes and collect items along the way. Been trying forever to find it again but have had no luck. Hoping you guys could help because it was /tg/ dungeon diving as fuck and this seems like a good thread to ask in.
I'm pretty sure the title was "Puzzle Island" or "Map Island" or something and I remember that some of the maps were a labyrinth, giant bee hive, abandoned palace, whirl pool cave and a few jungles.
