Particularly, it is the persona of the "mission control/oracular" member of the team. Thus it is heavily stylistically focused on well, communications and perception. Not much of a fighter, but then, that's why you and your team are in the field. Not them.
Some are obviously relatively normal looking. One particularly forthright example is basically "Yellow Track suited Biker Ona-Bushi", complete with neat helmet, inscrutable glowing eyes below the visor, and a naginata.
Another relatively simple one would be a fairy in a shortish overcoat, with I think a sword? and very Kamen Riderish headgear and accessories/armor.
The former belonging to a tomboyish, martial artist team member who kicks stuff, the latter to a gun toting, also arguably tomboyish (but in a more butch, demure way) detective type with a revolver. Who is also a closeted fan of Rider and/or general adolescent BOYS action shows of that sort.
The guy on the team with gender issues has one that's a hulking ,deaths head electric kill bot. (Yeah, MASSIVELY overcompensating, really. He also dresses like a street thug down to white hair. Hits people with a chair in combat. He also sews really well. But he's totally a man's man. Really. )
