what's the best way to run skitarii vanguard units?

People say allying with flesh tearers, and drop-podding in 5-man units with arc rifles/plasma calivers.

Has anyone landed enfeeble on a unit like a riptide/nurgle spawn, then wiped it out with S10 weapon?

you're pretty limited to what you have, 1200 is an odd point number since most go for 1k or 1500. also csm can't take double ccw, i would do counts as pistol & ccw.

you might struggle pretty hard considering you have no anti tank besides the helbrute. good luck.

Playing against a mech heavy Guard list, am I going to have problems? Usually brings 2 Leman variants, 2 earthshaker artillerys, 4 chimera troops, 3 seperate units of psykers, and 2 Vendettas. The Rune priest is meant to drop pod with the group of 8 Hunters and the Wolf guard ride down in the FA pod while the Longfangs pod provides capturing.

i would give the chosen all flamers, maybe drop a chosen for 5 flamers along with a combi flamer on the champ. no anti air and you're light on anti tank.

it's an interesting list, i'm not sure how well it would do.
