Strike team, this is central. We have lots of activity in the area, so listen carefully.

"There are four main structures on the field: the plantation itself, some sort of a power generator, an incinerator for unknown purposes and a lab facility. The corn fields surrounding the area is your best friend, soldiers.

There are a lots of opportunities for the assault, the hostile forces may outnumber you but they are thinned out across this large area. I see lots of turrets and patrolling Advent soldiers.

Beware strike team, the enemy has deployed a new kind of soldiers, they will try to incapacitate you rather than outright kill you. Take care of their captain.

We have three unconfirmed alien presence in the area. One is dormant near the lake while the other two are in the field, they were emitting some sort of an unidentified field. Caution and visual confirmation is advised ..

watch out for the Sniper turret on top of the Silo, we have no idea what they are capable of. Hopefully this rough estimation of its range will help you.

The strike team pushed onward taking no casualties, once Yostena's squad approached the distortion field, we were welcomed with a lots of Magnetic projectiles. It didn't seem to do any damage to the pile of woods Yostena's team was using it as a cover.

You found the cause of this fields, they looked like small drones with a metallic sunflower structure on top, for once, they didn't have any weapon attached to them. they were immediately gunned down.

Oleg advanced and took one precise shot destroying the sniper turret.

Once the coast was clear, the scientist approached the scene, everyone was horrified to witness human-like plants slightly wiggling. they were deformed and mutated beyond imagination.

There are two projects that cost hundreds of millions of dollars related to turning the Test Subject into a living psi weapon facility. They will take weeks and months to build.

During that time she has to be kept alive, and just keeping her alive on our equipment costs 1MIL a month.
If we don't develop a cheaper life support system from the Advent Psi Captain Armor, then we potentially lose millions of dollars.
Right now, with the extra cost, Council funding is only enough to keep the lights on; our available funds will not increase.

As far as X-Com: EU is concerned, the more scientists you have the faster research is done. Consider each research worth X amount of points, and scientists give you Y amount of points per day. scouts take the rocks while remaining concealed and watch for the convoy. When the convoy is within the killzone, the snipers initiate fire and disable the lead vehicle while the ambush team opens fire on the convoy. The scouts pull around and prevent the enemy from pulling back. Then the ambush teams assault the objective and clear the area of hostiles. Over in less than 8 minutes.

It was done by the numbers.

All the so called neurally linked soldiers acted as one unit gaining superior advantage against the regular soldier. Oleg, being a survivalist hardened sniper, didn't need words to convey orders to the other linked unit. The other soldiers reported as if they were 'feeling it'.

Best part? it was two sided, a Oleg experienced different assessment from his linked soldiers which may have altered the final plan. The problem was of course with the other non linked soldiers but they managed handling themselves in the coordinated ambush.

The target was a small boy, barely over twelve years. It was a miracle that he didn't got hurt in the process. There were no time for salvage; you had to extract the target immediately out of this war zone.
