You leave FOREST and go to MOUNTAIN. ELF waits at the foot of MOUNTAIN while you hike up to DWARF FORTRESS. The dwarf guarding DWARF FORTRESS welcomes you and leads you through DWARF FORTRESS' winding tunnels until you enter MASTER SMITH'S chambers.
"Hello, HERO. Did you get MAGIC SWORD yet?"
You give MASTER SMITH the MITHRIL.
"This is quite a fine metal; not as tough or light as ADAMANTINE but very pretty. Where'd you find this?"
You explain that the elves wish to make peace and the MITHRIL is a peace offering.
"Peace with the elves, hmm? Fine. This metal is a nice peace offering and you seem to be concerned about our relations with the elves too, HERO, and because of what you've done for us, I'd gladly do anything for you. Henceforth, the feud between elves and dwarves is over."
Success! You leave DWARF FORTRESS and tell ELF that the dwarves accepted the peace offering. She gives you a big hug and a kiss on your cheek.
"Thanks so much, HERO! You're definitely the hero that will claim MAGIC SWORD! Follow me and I'll take you to where it is.
You follow ELF into FOREST, through dark roads, over treetops, and seemingly in large circles until somehow, you arrive at a pedestal holding a rusty old sword.
" Well, here we are. I know it's not the prettiest sight, but I'm sure its power will respond to a true hero such as yourself."
You grasp the hilt of MAGIC SWORD and pull, but it does not budge.

ELF cheers for you but the moment of celebration suddenly ends when you hear screaming nearby. FOREST is enveloped in a red haze and you smell the smoke from earlier. You draw your ROCKET-DRILL SPEAR and prepare for a battle but then DRAGON descends onto the pedestal.
"So you are the one who has taken MAGIC SWORD. I remember when I burned your village down. Do you hope to get revenge on me? Do not delude yourself, human. I am much stronger than you. I would suggest that you give me MAGIC SWORD right now, or else I will kill you where you stand."
"What's DRAGON doing here? HERO, don't give MAGIC SWORD to DRAGON!"

You cast REVIVE on yourself and run as fast as you can. Luckily, DRAGON can't quite keep up. DRAGON uses BREATH OF FIRE but your ADAMANTINE ARMOR negates it.

DRAGON speeds up to try to pounce on you, but ELF creates a dome of vines, trapping DRAGON.

(MAGIC SWORD isn't a very good weapon. Think of it more like the dino tooth in MOTHER 3 that Flint used to pierce the dinosaur's hide so his attacks could do more than 1 damage but the tooth itself isn't used as a weapon.)

I read the fucking quest, I know it does low damage while providing a debuff, players are still fucking retards. You should have duel wielded, MAGIC SWORD in off hand, another weapon in main hand.
The best result would have actually been another sword in main hand so we can double up on XP on the swords skill. Or you could just replace either hammers OR spears with a sword and use a regular sword until you acquire the MAGIC SWORD or anything else... or the magic foci because magic FTW
