There's this guy.
He's a big guy. Like REALLY big.
He has bat-wings, big ones.
He also has an Octopus for a head.
Now, he's green like a fish, because he lives underwater.
He's usually asleep since he's lazy, but when he wakes up he gets shit done.
Now, the shit he gets done, it usually involves lots of people going crazy.
I mean c'mon he's a big green guy with bat wings and an Octopus for a head.
But he's a pretty cool guy nonetheless, since he just wants to get some sleep.
Now his friends though, they're a bunch of dicks. They *like* making people crazy, and they're good at it since they don't sleep all day.
They got tentacles too, and they're not afraid to use them.
But then you've got the people in it, and they're already crazy.
Some think they'll get by through worshipping the tentacled bag of dicks, and others think they gotta kill the dicks.
But the bottom line is,
Everyone's already crazy.

I hate the concept of using Lovecraftian mythos in RPG's because they're never done right. The end result of every story should either be the players dying, going insane from weak mental strength, or joining the evil due to degenerate ancestry/forgotten parents, or achieving absolutely nothing ultimately.
