A man finds himself reborn as a child. In the last thread, we went out of the house, which promptly disappeared.
Where to go?
>Kakwore Institute.The most expensive, and the leader in magic/energy.High in a castle. Lots of mining money to be made from the valuable gems, or by research. 10 thumb-lengths away.
>School of Gefeth. Still very expensive, specialized in purely hand-to-hand combat. All of the money in Gafreth is through gladiator fights, either through fighting or betting. 12 thumb-lengths
>The Laererra School. Very little combat, but lots of academic and leadership opportunities. Many of the top generals go there. Decently cheap. Laererra is smack in the middle of the central district, and there are lots of rich employment options in various trading and gambling companies, but only if you play your cards right. 20 thumb-lengths away.
>Muxrity Academy. Good in all areas, but doesn't specialize in anything. Pretty cheap. Muxrity is near a small town, most job opportunities will come in the forms of blacksmithing, cooking, etc. 7 thumb-lengths away.
>Iletwine. Specializes in not only wilderness survival, but also thievery and banditry. Free, because most people won't survive. Iletwine is in the in the forest, so most of the money will be from hunting/scavenging. Or banditing. 9 thumb-lengths.

Gefeth is in the southern district, near the middle of the desert. Your parents indicated that you were on the west edge, so you start heading what you assume to be southeast by the direction of the sun.
Time flies by, and even as the sun sets you have encountered nothing but trees and dirt. As the last sliver of sunlight sets across the horizon, you stare back at the map. If you followed the map correctly, you should be reaching a dirt road soon. Alternatively, you hear the sound of water in the opposite direction.

It takes you some time, but as you trudge through the dense foliage you finally stumble out of a patch of forest and onto a dirt path. It seems large enough for one cart, and indents in the road indicate that carts have indeed passed through here in the past year. Illuminated by only moonlight, it is very had to see either side of the road very clearly, but it appears as though you are on a curved section.

You turn right, and walk along the path. Again, the walk is uneventful, and you don't catch of glimpse of anything more than leaves blowing across the path.
All of a sudden, you are attacked by this strange feeling. It takes a while for you to place, but you finally realize: it is fatigue. How odd, considering the fact that you have not felt this sensation ever since being born. You can also feel your thirst and hunger quite clearly now, two more feelings that are foreign to you. You have a feeling that if you do not satisfy these basic requirements in the near future, you will be in a great deal of discomfort.

You look around, and yet there is no food that is immediately nearby. There seems to be some mundane plants by the roadside, but you are unable to determine whether they are edible or not. You haven't encountered any animals since your departure, but you do hear some animals growling in the distance.
