I would know that the DM is messing with me. Me specifically. He’s already cursed me with a book labeled “The Lusty Drow Maiden” which is bound to my character and returns to him whenever he tries to get rid of it. He’s read it so many times that he has skillpoints in a deep understanding of drow sexuality since he’s undead and doesn’t have to sleep.
Being a ghoul would make the whole “drow pet” thing a little bit more sensical. Terrifying, but nonetheless sensical. I’m going to guess that the collar is going to be imbued with command undead rather than a domination spell because the latter wouldn’t work.
We’ve had plenty of experience with drow, most of which have not been unfriendly, but they do give the party a hard time. Why are we in the underdark? Who knows, probably some hairbrained mission our overlord sent us on to check up on his in laws.
What would my character do? Get really pissed. That amulet is probably not strong enough to hold him but he has no problem serving. It’s just the idea of serving drow, the most chaotic stupid of any D&D evils. He has no taste for backstabbing or political jockeying.
