Welcome to New Teen Titans Quest!
This is an authorized continuation of Humble Storyteller's wonderful Teen Titans Quest that sadly Humble isn't able to continue, and hasn't been updated in 18 months. (If you're reading this Humble, I wasn't using this name in the afterparty when you authorized it, to avoid confusion)

Please note that New Teen Titans Quest ignores everything that happened after Gotham city (Act 5).
The rules are the same as the previous incarnation: One vote per post, maximum of 11 votes per choice.

Seconds after Beast Boy's distress signal was cut short, you and titans are already en route to help.
At Robin's signal Cyborg tracks the communicator's signal. "He's on the west side of town over by the industrial sector. FOr some reason I can't get an exact postion, only approximate it by about a quarter of a mile."
After contact Jinx and informing her of the situation, Robin addresses the team.
"Everybody keep alert, I don't like anything about this." A quick look at Robin's face shows he suspects something beyond a simple ambush, but that alone seemed obvious to everyone.
After a quick trip the team arrives in front of a large industrial complex, some kind of factory or refinery. The landscape is grey, cold and hard. With large buildings and structures obscuring your view of anything beyond.
Jinx is waiting when you arrive. "About time you got here." She seems annoyed having made to wait and is eager to get started.
Robin turns to you. "We split up into three groups and fan out. Since this is your first time seeing action after so long, I want you to pick your partner."

Robin doesn't waste any time issuing commands.
"Alright, you're with Cyborg then. Raven is with Jinx, Star is with me. Each team take a building and report what you find."
Cyborg gives your back a hard slap, almost knocking you over, you nearly forgot how strong he is.
"Alright, since you're probably out of practice, I'll take point."
Robin and Starfire head into what appears to be a large warehouse, Raven and Jinx head towards a building with the sign "ACME Manufacturing".
There are still several buildings you and Cyborg can choose from.

To the north of you is a large ironworks, with Cyborg's help you break down the main gate and head inside. At this time of night no workers are here, but much of the machinery is still active on a stand-by basis.
The warm glow of molten metal illuminates the large open space ahead of you.
Cyborg speaks up "I'm getting absolutely nothing on my scanners, some of the metals must be interefering with the signals. Looks like we'll have to search the old fashion way, keep sharp."
At Cyborg's singal you begin searching the area around you. Ufortunately after several minutes of searching you come up with nothing, as does Cyborg. Just as you're about to contact Robin to report, you hear a rustling coming from inside a small office some 20 feet away.
You manage to sneak over to the office and peek through the window. There is clearly someone rummaging around inside with the lights off.
I. Break through the window and take them by surprise.
J. Watch and try to find out what they're doing.
K. Knock on the door and enter the office, confront the stranger directly.

The rummaging continuing, followed by some mumbling, before the stranger moves on to another section of the office and does the same.
This continues and repeats for 20 minutes until you hear a yelp of somekind from the sillouetted figure.
Suddenly the door you're crouched next to swings open, and a middle aged man wearing a hard hat comes out holding some kind of small cylinder in his hand.
As he turns he immeadiately notices you crouching next to him.
"What the fuck?! Who the fuck are you?"
He takes a swing and you narrowly dodge just in time. You jump back as he grabs a metal rod nearby, clearly with the intent to use it on you.
L. Soul punch him in the stomach before he's on top of you.
M. Try to disarm the man by grabbing the metal rod.
N. Talk him down, this is all a big misunderstanding!

Success! You manage to get a firm hold on the rod. But he has no intention of letting go either.

Before you can figure out what he means, a jolt of intense pain rockets through your arm, incapcitatiog you as you collapse on the ground.
"You gotta be some kind retard to grab a cattle prod by its end like that."
Another jolt of pain, this time coming from your spine as you convulse on the ground.
"Still awake? Just fucking pass out already!"
You're on the verge of passing out, if you're gonna do something, you better do it now.

You channel all of your focus into using your powers, something you haven't done in a long time, espcially not under these circumstances.
The familiar sensation comes back to you the mystical power flows through you, and your sould punch flies!
You look up to see that he is still standing in front of you, with a puzzled look on his face.
"What the fuck was that suppose to be?"
It appears that your soul form was much MUCH weaker than you thought. Likely weakened even further by your inability to focus due to the pain you're feeling.
"Nighty night!" He says as he raises the prod cackling with electricity just above your head.
His attack is cut short as he flies through the wall, a familiar sound of a sonic cannon.
"Yeah, I don't think so."
Cyborg rushes over to your side as you try to stay concious, still reeling from the pain.
"I guess you're a little bit more rusty than we thought, huh?" Cyborg hoists you up over his shoulder, and carries you outside.

Sorry I had to cut this shorter than I expected tonight. I haven't been feeling well all day and it's starting to get worse. I think I'm gonna go to sleep for 10 hours.
