First of all - my apologies for the last thread, i was really tired and went to sleep. As an apologie and since im free today im gonna host an extra long session.
Rules: roll a d100 to see the success rate of your comment. Since the rolls last time were really bad you will get a bonus of +5 for dubs, +10 for trips and +50 for quads. Every roll above 85 is a guaranteed success (if neccesary i will still filter bullshit posts)

realising your treants and dryads wont help you agianst fire, bartleby, todd, the shadow and 3 spellweavers are chosen to take on the job. the fight is short, brutal and lots of magic is flying around. they manage to overpower the elemental and get their hands on the book(still needs identifying). your mage group needs a day off after this to recouver from the injuries. since the treants got nothing to do they grow more saplings.
>>44043043
with bartleby and the elven mages occupied elsewere you send a scouting party to the centaurs. as they reach the city they are truely impressed. it seems like the caravan told you the location of one of the centaurs main citys. for the moment raging a war against them would be futile as over 2000 centaurs are living here and even a weak centaur can fight like a bear if you threaten his alcohol or family. your scouts gain access to the city and are now free to either go to the castle and attend diplomatic matters, check out the market and see if they can find something of value or go to the tavern and gather information.

now? maybe i should post your option^^
the elves are currently in the city. they can either attend diplomatic matters with the centaurs, gather informations in the tavern or check the market.
bartleby and the elve mages return with the book and need rest
the treants may channel their magic to increase your population, identify the book or shape the forest to their will.

I think obviously identify the books and repair the wounds in the forest that the fire has caused.

high roll - the spellbook teaches the summoning of elementals. you may either gift this book to bartleby so he can summon elementals in combat, or keep it in the forest and use them as a first line - defense in case of an attack. defensive elementals will be permanent. however the summoning of fire elementals is obviously forbidden by the treants so you have to stick to air, wind and water elementals.
what will the elves be doing in the centaur city?
>>
>>44071667
I say give the book to Bartleby.
Attend to diplomatic matters with the Centaurs, let us forge alliances.

bartleby takes the following turn to study and understand the book, helped by some of the treants. the elves tried to convince the leader of the centaurs to commit to an alliance with our tribe and were challenged to a drinking contest to see if they are worthy allies. needles to describe the outcome. the elves return drunk but safe, while the centaurs laugh them off and are now rather amused by the fact we took in these lowly elves in our tribe (-10 on diplomacy rolls).

As the elves, frey and the 2 other dryds once more scout the undead, they once again can not clearify against whom the undead rage war. However they can see the undead forces are slowly getting crushed by the unkown foe. Only about 200 of the undead infantry is left. You may choose to leave, investigate about the unkown foe, try diplomancy on the necromancer in the castle or even attack their weak spots and declare war on them.

>94 roll + hero support + elv scouts
sir you just got information on this war

the scouting party decides to stay hidden until the slaughter continues. at nightfall they now finally understand how they couldn´t find a foe. at first it seems like the swamp itself was angered by the undead and tries to reclaim it´s territory but on a closer inspection they see a huge amount of slimes attacking and swalloing the undead. favoured by the environment the undead probably wont hold out against this amount of slime creatures. they have probably no more than 7 days left until they are either crushed or need a new home for them. As the elves spectate the battle they now can finally see the leaders of the undead. It seems to be a group of at least 4 necromancers with average skill levels reigning in the castle.
>>
Rolled 30 (1d100)

>>44072285
Wow some spy report there, give the scouts a reward for a job well done.

Now this is unsettling as the slimes might be an even worse threat to the forest than the necromancers, although the undead are in direct violation to nature the slimes might not be different.

We must know more if the slimes are controlled in an organized manner or just acting out of instinct. They could be a civilization on their own or just a colony of feral slimes that grew too large for the environment to handle.

>>
>>44072356
We should send Bartleby to find a GF. They can bring in a new generation of hipp- Er, druids.
>>
>>44072419
sure - will take them about 3-4 turns depending on future rolls
on the magic subject: we are limited to nature magic with the treants however we only know basic use of it for now. basicly we can directly infuse our magic powers to enhance the natural groth of something or strengthen it. more complicated amgic needs to be researched first
>>44072431
druids have chosen to live in harmony with nature, away from other liveforms. bartleby wont seek a gf since this would only hinder him in assisting nature. however if you want more heroes i can assure you there will be some more over time. i intended them to be powerful individuals so something like "bartleby and his gf f... and we now have 28 druid heroes" wont happen.

undead: bartleby travels to the castle and requests entry. the necromancer open the gates for him and order the skeletons to protect him if neccessary. necromancers are usually a kind who sticks to their own but for the time being they appreciate any help possible. they ask us if we would be willing to help them defend their castle and offer us diplomatic options such as an alliance or trade in return.
however since swamp terrain isn´t favourable for us we are likely to take severe losses on the battlefield.

Tell the Necromancers politely that the forest does not take kind for their research on the dead for it goes against the balance of the order of life that nature has paved for mortals. Suggest that they leave the area while they can and the slimes shall not follow.

success for the scouts. It looks like te slimes only want to repopulate the swamp with their kind. they came from the south but since they are not known for building structures it is difficult to determin where they come from. the undead seem to have left the place and the slimes only protect the swamp and castle. they seem to be in no way aggressive.

the % value is their hp(hit points). it is currently above 100% since the tree of life we researched boosts their power beyond their natural level. Frey can get up to 125% because she is connected closer to the tree as a tree herself.

So slimes absorb things right? This is going to sound diabolical. If we use hive mind or nature magic to put a message from the treants into an animal. Maybe an animal that lives in the swamp and would naturally be prey to the slimes. But this message would let the slimes know that we are friends and would love to adopt them into our nature family. Is there any negative to attempting this? Could it work?
>>
>>44077281
they grow until the saplings of them are fully grown - thats it. treants can get hundreds of years old so i wont include dying of old age for the sake of simplicity^^
>>44076873
now that someone´s rolled i can write
the treants rest another day, giving them rest +2
the elves are still busy with completing the houses but plan on a store house for the upcoming day.
bartleby succeeds in his summoning and the water elemental recouvers the artifact.
artifact: dragon´s tear; can be used to store large amounts of magic. either the treants or your elven sorcerers can take 3 turns to store magical power in it for later use.

Treants:
Grow deep roots that act as wells giving us constant water, possibly roots going to the lake also to absorb water from there if needed. Soon we can use this as irrigation to upgrade to a full jungle labyrinth.
Frey+elves scout east.
Bart+todd take a gidt of shrooms to the centaurs with no expectation of a return on goods. We need benevolence with their race.

we already have water storage (manufactured from old trees - see ressources stored water)
but we can definitly do the pipeline
>78=high roll
the treants use the water from the new living pipeline to the lake to keep them rested
improvement on centaur diplomacy (total modifiers: +10 for nature loving,-20 for elves in your tribe who cant drink, +15 for shrooms= +5 total, 50+ roll needed to succeed in trading, 75+ for alliance)
scouting: the plains are mostly flat with a single tree or hill here and there, not much to find or scout. however your party still managed to find something of value: they managed to steel 3 harpy eggs(treasure - used for trading, breeding unlikely to bear success(90+))

Okay.

Treants
Communicate with the slimes time. Infuse swamp animal with a magical nature message for the slimes. Invite them. To join us. Let them know that if they let us spread into the swamp they may keep the castle, and we wil build other structures for them as needed. Have freya and scouts assist with the capture and placement of animals.

Have bart and todd take the new eggs. The place them by the tree of life and have a ritual celebration there praising the life within the eggs hoping to increase chances of eventual hatching. Elfs join in, and celebrate also.

im sorry but even with the +20 rested this wont be enough.
the treants try to communicate to the slimes through snakes however the only thing the slimes understand is: hiss hiss. at least the treants managed to avoid any danger since they were rested.
during the celebration half of the stored wheat is consumed. it only affected the eggs little (85+ needed to be breedable)
