There is a 10 minute voting period after each post. Non-contradictory votes will be combined as best as possible.
Write-ins for all votes or always welcome and encouraged. They may not all make it into the post or be altered to fit in, but I'll do my best to at least try to address the spirit of the write-in.
Very important or contentious votes may be redone in a stricter voting system as it comes up.
Combat involves rolls! Once there's a clear winner, we roll for the move accuracy/crit/secondary effect. Usually it's just three 1d100s. Sometimes you can get a modifier from circumstances, so be creative! Add flair, do tricks with moves, mess with terrain, whatever!

Destiny stands ready to fight her new opponent, Tyranitar. The jumbo screen says it’s name is Cruise. Like you, Ritchie likes to nickname his Pokemon.
Sand whips across the dusty battle arena. It’s ability, Sandstream, makes sure of that. It cancelled out the rain that Destiny was using to boost her speed and water attacks.
“The blue corner is far from finished. This new upset might be exactly what they need to turn this match around!”

Destiny twirls through the air and fires bouiling hot water at Cruise. It lands well, right onto it.
But no burn, and thanks to Sandstorm, the attack’s power is blunted. Still, it clearly hurts.
Tyranitar uses Dragon Dance. It’s not very graceful, but it does the job. Tyaranitar will now move faster and hit harder.
The sand whips at Destiny, hurting her just a little bit. Because of the strong hit she took before, she won’t last long out there.

Ritchie’s Tyranitar stomps its feet, then uses Stone Edge.
“Sniper and Hydro Pump!”
Huge boulders fly down at Destiny from the air. They crash down all around her, sending even more dust and sand into the air.
But a small (compared to Tyranitar) figure spins gracefully through the air. Rock after rock tries to hit her, but she ‘s like smoke on the wind, untouched by anything physical. Even the particles in the air seem to not be able to touch her.
Ritchie seemed to have a special follow up planned for this. His Tyranitar is already rushing down the arena at Destiny. It must be his trump card trick. But as it throws a punch, Destiny rolls over it’s fist. She stops behind the Tyranitar and fires her Hydro Pump.
It’s not a usual Hydro Pump. The lead point is sharp and focused, like a lance. It hits from below and forces Tyranitar up into the air. It comes flying in your direction, then crashes through one of the boulders.
The crowd goes insane! You can barely hear the announcement that Tyranitar is unable to battle. Ritchie retrieves it.
The sandstorm is still up, but Destiny avoided taking any damage from it for now it seems.
Ritchie pulls his cap back and throws his last Pokemon. His Pikachu, Sparky stands ready to fight.

On an 8-10 Destiny dodges the attack because she's so good at it.
You yell your command to Destiny at the same time that Ritchie yells his. “Hydro Pump!”
Pikachu stands it’s ground as the Hydro Pump comes down at him. It fires a Thunderbolt right at Destiny.
The electricity climbs up the water, hitting your Kingdra. She siezes up for a second before the last bit sends her spinning out.
Pikachu is blown back. It takes the hit surprisingly well and uses it’s outstretched hands to catch itself on a boulder before it can be sent too far back. It springs up, soaked, hit, but still ready to fight.
It’s not over yet.
“The Kingdra called Destiny is unable to battle.” A flag waves down and a red x goes over her picture on the big screen. You retrieve her. “Good job. You did really well.”
You try to get a good sense of that Pikachu. It looks tough. Agile. Your experience with Robin has taught you that a Pokemon that isn’t fully evolved is still plenty dangerous. You remember how she used Dragonair’s body shape to her advantage in a gym battle.
This Pikachu with the strange tuft of hair probably has a few tricks.

“Oberon! I choose you!”
You throw your Garchomp out for his first public appearance. For a second, he’s taken aback at the large cheering crowds. Then you see a hint of a smile. It’s just like the jungle he ruled over. He brings his arms out wide and the crowd increases in volume just a bit more.
Satisfied, he leans down low, moving his body and head around abit to get a sense of his own movement, and see Pikachu’s assessment of him.
The sandstorm is still up. It won’t last much longer though.

Ritchie has his Pikachu use Double Team, but once again, it does him no good. Garchomp’s attack easily finds it’s mark. Pikachu is trapped in a swirling vortex. He’s limited to a very small amount of room to maneuver in, and very badly hurt.
“Unbelievable! Pikachu takes a crushing blow, but it’s still trying to fight!”
The sandstorm dies off, but Pikachu is still hurt by the Sand Tomb.
He tries crawling out. Pikachu marches forward at Oberon.
Oberon, instead of reacting, just stands his ground and stares down at the smaller electric mouse. He snorts, and Pikachu falls over.
“Pikachu is unable to battle! Victory goes to Kat, of Novum Town!”
Oberon pulls Pikachu out of the Sand Tomb. He’s not gentle, but it’s better that being in that thing until it wears off. After all, Ritchie wouldn’t be able to retrieve him.
Your friends are trying to run over to you. Violet is with them and they all are able to get passed the guard. She leaves the group after that.
Ritchie retrieves Pikachu. He lowers his head behind his cap so nobody can see his face, but only for a second. He wipes his eyes, talks to his Pokeball, and walks your way.
“Great match,” he offers his hand. Garchomp takes it and shakes it. You take it from him and shake it yourself.
Jeanine almost crashes into you. She’s out of breath from running, but trying to act cool. “So, Ritchie. I bet you wish you could go back in time and have that match again.”
Ritchie looks around, unsure. “I...what are you...forget it. Kat. That was a great match. I have to go.”

You turn to your tall, blonde friend. “Jeanine!”
She’s already cringing. “Okay. That wasn’t that tactful. I’ve been up like all night.” She leans over and points to him. “He’s... he’s hiding something big!”
You try to hold back your exasperation. You start heading back to the nurse station, and your friends follow. “Like what?”
“Like...”
Clair rolls her eyes. “Here it comes.”
“Like he’s been to the past.”
You stop. “You’re accusing him of being a time traveller.”
“Look. I know how it sounds. But there are pictures, see?” She hands you some of them. There’s someone that’s the spitting image of Ritchie in each of them, but they’re old, black and white, and not that great. “See? How do you explain that?”
“His dad? A coincidence? Why does it have to be time travel?”
Jeanine sighs. “I know how it sounds, but his aura has all sorts of weird residue, and look at the hat in this picture. They didn’t make them 70 years ago. Clair, maybe you could...”
You hand over your Pokemon to the nurse.
Clair stamps her feet. “No way! I’m tired of being the go-to for this. You’re the one with the crazy theory, you prove it yourself. I’m not dignifying this.”
Jeanine turns to Vance. “You believe me, right?”
He hesitates. “I don’t know. Time travel? That’s a bit much.”
Robin is more open. “Well. We’ve seen a lot of strange things on our journey.”

You get your Pokemon back from the nurse and check the time. “So, I saw Violet was with you guys.”
Robin sighs. “She wanted to talk about your match. She didn’t even care about anything else I brought up.”
“Oh. What did she say?”
“She said if you pushed your Pokemon too hard and they got hurt, she’d hurt you as much as you hurt them and steal your Pokemon. Then when I...lost my temper, she said she was joking.”
You put a hand on Robin’s shoulder. “Come on. You still have time to train before your match.”
She nods. “Yeah!”
Your opponent pops up on the screen. It’s Dick.
Well, that’s not for 3 days from now. In the meantime, you need to decide what to do before Robin’s match.

You don’t want to waste a second of time. You don’t want to stress your Pokemon too much, but you did have quality time with them yesterday, so you’re not that worried. Morale is high.
You take out Trunks, Destiny, and Oberon and give them a proper congratulations for a well fought match. They’re all very happy. Oberon is a little more stoic about it though.
You rent a nice training room again. It’s good to have a place where your Pokemon can let loose and not worry about the crowds of people all over this island. The training room place even has a PC in the main lobby in case you need to switch.
The amount of training you can get done depends on how hard the moves are, your experience with that move, and if your Pokemon has any similar moves or trains that help.

Order of priority.
“Oberon, Raistlin, come on out!”
You make sure to stand in the safe corner as you get Oberon to work on Earthquake. A thought occurs to you, and you end up running back and getting Nibbles to help out.
Oberon grimaces at being taught by a young, eagerly happy Pokemon. You get the sense that Oberon is older than most. He decides to trust you though, and follow Nibble’s example. Nibbles is an excellent teacher, as it turns out. He wants to play a little too much though. He keeps nudging and tackling Oberon to get him to wrestle.
Raistlin has just a little trouble getting in touch with his inner ghost. He has all the technical aspects down on the move, but you need to help him with the spooky part of it. Ghost moves need that little tinge of deviousness that Raistlin lacks. Still, he gets it quickly.
Next up is Vlad. “We’re going to work on Cross Poison. Now, the trick is-”
