Information: With rule over Planet Afhan secure, Daikon sent his team out into space in order to locate a planet worth conquering. Azu and Soko reported worlds that sounded promising, but communication with Sabi was lost. Travelling to Sabi's last known location, Daikon's ship was shot down, crash-landing on an unknown world. After a brief but intense skirmish with some machines, Daikon and the others have fled into the nearby forest, and now begin their search for Sabi.

Welcome to Saiyan Quest. This takes place shortly after the war against the Tuffles, as the Saiyans look for more foes to battle in the absence of their old enemies.
Voting will operate on a first to five system, at least for the time being.
Dialogue is allowed to be added to votes, as are actions (though I'll ignore what I consider shitposting)
During battles, options will usually have a number assigned to them. After that vote has won, players will roll a d100, and have three chances to match or beat that number.
If a 100 is rolled, it is considered a crit success (unless 100 was the number you had to match).
If a 1 is rolled, it is a crit failure, regardless of whether or not the other two rolls are high enough to succeed.
If, during a battle, players want to attempt a writein action, that is allowed, but I am the one who will assign the number to it, so use caution
You're a young male Saiyan who fought in the war with the Tuffles. You are an average fighter for now, but have the potential of one of the greatest warrior races to roam the universe flowing through your veins. There is no limit to what you can accomplish through blood, sweat, and tears.

Your scouter gives you a basic idea of what's around for several miles.
Some sort of city is not too far off, and according to your scouter, the average power level there is in the low hundreds. However, you also detect a few power levels over 1000 in the city, which is enough to make you consider your options.
Farther away, you detect an isolated group of power levels ranging from 100 to over a thousand. Perhaps it's some sort of outpost.
"Well, doesn't look like anything's coming for us just yet," Rugula comments. "Betting that will change pretty quickly once we show ourselves, though."
"How should we take this?" Toma asks. "Start knocking down some cities? Or should we check out that smaller group of powers?"

"Please, these weaklings shouldn't be much trouble," Bardock says confidently.
"Just be safe," Gine tells him, touching his arm.
He gives her a little smile, nods, then takes to the sky.
You lead the Saiyan Warriors toward the isolated group of power levels, keeping an eye out for any ambushes that may be waiting for you.
The flight goes by mostly in silence as you all prepare for a fight. Soon, you spot a sizable building in the distance, inside which you detect several power levels, including one of 835, the level of power Sabi possessed when you last saw him.
"Well, I guess we found him," Rugula says. "Now how do you want to get him out?"

You activate your scouter, opening communication with Gine and Kamatsuna. You instruct them to bring the Zillians and Herans over to your location as quickly as possible.
"We'll be there shortly," Kamatsuna tells you.
The communication ends, and your scouter quickly alerts you to dozens of power levels appearing seemingly out of nowhere. They're all weak, only in the low hundreds, but there are a lot of them.
You hear an explosion and look over to see Toma blast what looks to be some kind of turret away. Dozens more open fire on you and your group.
The Saiyans aren't caught off-guard, and begin to evade blasts while firing on the turrets themselves.
Your scouter alerts you to more approaching powers, and you look over to see several of those strange fighters from before heading in your direction.

You move toward the fighters quickly, firing a pair of energy blasts that knock one fighter from the sky and cause another to crash into one of the others.
As three fighters fall, you open your mouth, incinerating a fourth with a powerful blast of energy.
The others spread out, but you don't let them pass you. As they draw in closer, you send out your energy in all directions, sending them crashing to the ground harmlessly.
You look back to see the others finishing off the turrets. The battle looks to be over, but your scouter suddenly alerts you to a power of 3000.
You look to see a new foe just outside of the building. It's tall, with two legs, no arms, a thick metallic body, and a plethora of turrets mounted all over it. Some look to shoot basic projectiles, some look like they shoot rocket launchers, and one even appears to be loaded with a net.
The machine takes aim at Bardock, firing a cluster of rockets at him. Bardock fires a blast of energy to intercept them, causing the rockets to explode in a fiery cloud. The machine fires the net through the cloud, snaring Bardock and for some reason causing him to go still and fall from the sky.
Rugula, Toma, and Totapo fire energy blasts at the machine, only to have their attacks uselessly strike a forcefield. The machine returns fire with standard projectiles, causing Rugula and Toma to wince in pain before falling back.
Totapo lets out a yell and rushes forward, only to be hit by a single shot from another gun and go down just as Bardock did.

The two Saiyans dive toward their fallen comrades, moving swiftly to avoid a barrage of projectiles from their foe.
The machine fires a cluster of rockets spread between the two of them as they dive toward the others, catching them off-guard and blasting them right out of the sky.

You rush toward the machine while its focus is on the others.
As you move, you put all the energy you can into your foot, and slam against the machine's forcefield with a super-charged kick that causes it to crack and break.
The machine staggers over, firing shots at Rugula and Toma that miss by a mile thanks to your interference.
The machine turns its attention on your, preparing to fire at you with the same gun that took Totapo out of the fight. However, before it can fire, a blast of energy destroys it.
You glance over to see Rugula back on her feet, looking a bit hurt and really pissed. She fires another wave of energy at the machine, but it doesn't do much.
The machine remains focuses on you, and begins firing a mixture of projectiles and rockets.

The odds of both dice rolling a specific, predetermined number is 1 in 10,000. The odds of both dice rolling the same number, as long as it can be any number, is 1 in 100. The first die just sets the number, and then the second die has a 1 in 100 chance of rolling that number, just like it has of rolling any other specific number.
Or if you'd rather, you can take the 10,000 combinations number, and then divide that by the number of matches (both 1s, both 2s, both 3s... etc), which adds up to 100. 10,000/100 = 100.

Doubles has the same probability as a nat 100 (or a nat 1), so if he feels like it that could be another way to get a crit success, as long as the number beats the DC. That'd make crit successes more likely than crit fails, though.
Doubles that don't have to be in a row would be a 2 in 100 chance, which is twice as likely. (Actually it'd be even higher if you include the possibility of matching rolls 2 and 3, rather than having to match the result of roll 1).

You drop to the ground as the rockets and projectiles come for you. The standard shots fly harmlessly into the sky, but the rockets dive down after you.
You fly beneath the legs of the massive machine, and the missiles give chase. You come out behind the machine and take to the air, leading the rockets on a chase. Circling around, you head back to the machine and stand on top of it, waiting for the missiles to come to you.
At the last second, you leap out of the way, and the cluster of missiles strike the machine, wiping out all of its weapons systems and setting its body on fire.
The machine takes slow steps forward, then back, seeming to have entirely lost its sense of direction.
Your scouter alerts you to more approaching powers, but you relax as you see that they are merely Kamatsuna, Gine, and the others arriving.
The scientist and Bardock's wife reach you first, dropping to the ground and rushing over. Gine immediately runs to Bardock's side and tries to remove the net from him, something which proves somewhat troublesome, as it seems the net was full of points that had dug into his skin.
Once it's removed, Kamatsuna takes a quick look at the net, concluding that some kind of drug was put on the points and used to knock Bardock unconscious.
Gine looks angry for pretty much the first time you've ever seen, and begins marching toward the building. Kamatsuna, meanwhile, removes a dart from Totapo, concluding that he was drugged as well.
"No telling when they'll wake up," Kamatsuna tells you. "But it probably means that thing was trying to take you all alive."
You hear a surprised yelp and look over to see Gine fall onto her rear. You see a flash of light shimmer around the building, then vanish.
"Another forcefield," Rugula grumbles. "Great, don't these people ever mix things up a bit?"

You instruct Alpha, his men, and the Herans to keep the perimeter secured while you and the other Saiyans make your way into the building.
"I'm staying with Bardock," Gine tells you.
"Trust me, you won't change her mind on that," Seripa says as she walks past you. "Just let her do it."
You and the other able-bodied Saiyans make your way into the front entrance of the building, finding a cluster of turrets waiting for you. You open fire, destroying them in moments, then making your way deeper into the building.
There are hallways snaking in every-which direction, but, using your scouter, you're able to get a general idea of where to go, and soon find yourself in a massive room.
There are machines of every shape and size scattered throughout, and blood-stained tables where you're sure nothing good happened.
You spot Sabi, unconscious and badly wounded, strapped to one such table, and a figure standing before a massive screen on the far-side.
On the screen, you see the face of an alien. His skin is light-blue, and his ears are pointed. He has red eyes and a look of disapproval directed at the figure in front of the screen.
"A Suppressor is not a cheap piece of technology, Doctor," the man says. "It is valuable military property, property that was entrusted to you. And you've let it be destroyed, along with several other expensive bit of machinery that were left under your command. I must tell you, Doctor, I am not pleased by this news."
"Commander, I assure you, I have the situation well under control," the small figure in front of the screen says.
You see the commander glance in your direction. "Is that so? Then tell me, Doctor, who are these people?"
The Doctor glances over his shoulder, and you get a good look at him. He's somewhat scrawny, with red skin, a bald head, a pointy nose, and long blue eyes.
"I-I-uh..." he stammers.

The image vanishes, and the Doctor scurries to hide behind a nearby table.

He scurries out from behind the table and begins running, only to be thrown to the floor as you blast the ground near him.
"D-don't worry," he tells you. "Your friend is still alive. I-I've taken good care of him."
"Good care of him?!" Rugula snarls. "He looks half-dead!"
"I assure you, he's alright, I've just not given him the chance to fully recover yet," the Doctor explains. "I needed to keep him in a state that I could study him in, you know?"
"And what were you studying?" Kamatsuna demands.
"Everything I could," the Doctor answers, scurrying toward a nearby table and rifling through scattered objects on top of it. "I'd never seen anything quite like him before, of course, and I just had to learn all I could."
He grabs something and looks at it. "I mean, I haven't seen a species so well-made for combat since the Herans."

"S-sorry, but I can't do that," he tells you. "If I do, the Commander will have my head."
You see him produce a syringe.
"Why don't you work for me?" you ask him.
"For you?" he asks in return, glancing back in surprise. "Hmm....no, I can't do that. You're quite strong and your race is fascinating, but even you're no match for the Commander."
He injects the syringe into his arm, and his arm begins to swell in size.
"I...didn't want to use this so soon," the Doctor laments as his shoulder and half of his face begin to swell. "But I guess I don't have much choice."
His voice grows deeper with every word, and the swelling extends to his whole body as he begins to grow in size.
Your scouter tells you that his power-level is also increasing, and as his head touches the ceiling and he's forced to crouch, your scouter tells you his power level has gone up to 1000.
"What...what's happening?" he asks in confusion, looking down at his hands.
He suddenly yells in agony, and falls forward. You see something emerge from his backside, and realize that he's growing a tail.
You also see that he's about to crush Sabi.

You rush in and leap onto the table, holding up the massive alien as he falls toward Sabi. While you keep him in the air, Seripa swoops in and destroys Sabi's restraints, removing him from the table.
The Doctor, meanwhile, grows at you, and swats you with one massive hand, knocking you out from under him and sending you flying across the room.
You quickly recover, while he falls forward and crashes through the table. He groans, pushing himself back up and snarling in your direction.
"I-I don't understand," he tells you. "I used the genetic code of your friend to make this, what's happening to me?"

You order everyone to head back to the ship, and as they leave, you blast the lab, destroying everything you see. You aren't sure about the full extent of what was happening here, but you are sure you want it erased.
Everyone quickly returns to the ship, and inside, Sabi is placed in a healing tank.
"This is the newer model, so hopefully it won't take too long for him to recover," Kamatsuna tells you.
"What about the ship?" Toma asks.
"Probably at least a week, and I'm going to need supplies, which hopefully we can scavenge from the robots," Kamatsuna tells you.
"Let's hope we can hold out that long," Gine comments.
"We'll be fine," Rugula assures her. "We've beaten everything this planet's thrown at us so far."
"Yeah, but that Doctor guy seemed pretty worried about the Commander," Toma reminds her.
"Whoever this Commander is, we will devour him and spit out his bones," Alpha promises.
Rugula laughs. "Now that's the spirit. No mercy for any fools who stand against us."
"But-" Toma starts.
"We're Saiyan Warriors," Seripa cuts him off. "We can handle any opponent."

You alter your scouter's settings to give you readings on specific energy signatures. Fortunately, the bulk of the power levels are only at about 500. Still, that's more than enough to overwhelm your own army through sheer numbers.
Unfortunately, there are half a dozen power levels of 3000, and one all the way at 5000.
The odds are not in your favor.

"But what about Sabi?" Gine asks. "He needs to he-"
"He said abandon ship!" Rugula snaps, and you a look of genuine fear on her face as she reads her own scouter.
The tank opens up and Sabi is removed.
Everyone flees from the ship, and you risk a glance at the sky. Up above there is a massive, black, triangular shaped object slowly moving through the sky.
As you and the others head for the woods, you see countless small shapes drop down from the object, plummeting toward the ground in front of the woods.
The first of them land and cut off your escape. Each of them looks vaguely like the doctor, and all are armed with blasters.
A shadow looms over you, and you look up to see the massive shape coming closer to the ground. You hear a booming voice echoing around you.
"Attention, my name is Commander Fesla," the voice tells you. "You are all on this world illegally, and have killed an ascended scientist. That's considered an act of war, so I'm here to answer in kind."
More and more soldiers come down, some of them are in the air, and you notice they're wearing some kind of devices on their backs that shoots out small flames.
"Now, you can all surrender, and there's a chance you'll survive," Commander Fesla tells you. "Or, you can fight, and be killed. You have ten seconds to surrender."
The soldiers, each at power levels of 500, take aim.

You choose to fight, and order all of your forces to attack.
The enemy soldiers open fire, and you begin deflecting shots as the Zillians and Herans rush into battle, letting out roars and battle cries as they charge at their opponents.
The enemies manage to gun down a few Zillians before the lizard people reach them, and you watch more than a few of your enemies getting ripped to shreds in short order.
Seripa fires a wave of energy above a cluster of enemy fighters, and it explodes into dozens of smaller blasts, taking out nearly two-dozen fighters at once.
Alpha leaps into the sky, taking down three soldiers with his spear and two more with an energy blast before closing in and kicking another in the throat.
Beta, meanwhile, grabs one by to the leg and throws him at several others. The soldier drops his blaster, and Beta picks it up, using it to shoot down several other enemies before being riddled with blasts and falling dead to the ground.
Rugula fires an energy wave that destroys half a dozen soldiers, then deflects the shots that are fired her way in response.
A Heran is blasted out of the sky, and a dozen Zillians soon join her. Alpha is still alive, but he looks as though he's about to be overwhelmed.

You rush toward Alpha, firing a barrage of energy blasts at the foes that are moving to encircle him. You watch as he impales one soldier in front of him with his spear, and them fires a blast out of the tip to strike a soldier behind the one he just stabbed.
You rush into the seemingly endless ocean of enemy soldiers, dodging and deflecting blaster bolts as you close in.
You punch one soldier in the face, then spin and kick another in the throat. As he flies back, you grab him by the ankle and spin, throwing him into another soldier and wiping out several with a mouth blast.
A dozen surround you and fire at once. You climb into the air, watching the blaster shots collide in a great explosion before you rain energy on your foes, killing them all in seconds.
You hear a blaster fire from behind, and spin to deflect the shot before grabbing the soldier by the arm and breaking it. You then kick him into another soldier before diving below more shots and slamming your elbow into the skull of another soldier.
You land on the ground and rush toward a line of enemies, who open fire at you. Easily knocking their blasts aside, you reach them and quickly dispatch them with a rapid series of strikes.

You take to the air once more, rushing into the thick of the enemy force.
Dozens of soldiers turn and fire on you, but you send out energy in every direction with a single powerful yell, stopping their blasts and wiping them out.
It seems you're finally putting a dent in the opposing force. However, you've lost dozens of Zillians in the process, not to mention three Herans.
Gine, Kamatsuna, and the unconscious Saiyans have disappeared. Your scouter tells you they're somewhere in the ship.
It also tells you that four power levels of 3000 are rapidly approaching. Looking up, you see four of those machines you fought outside of the Doctor's lab plummet to the ground, crushing several Zillians before shooting down several more.
Alpha lives, but Beta has fallen, and more than a quarter of the other Zillians have also been killed. Rugula, Toma, and Seripa are still fighting, but with these new arrivals, things do not look good.
