You are Zev, a street rat punk kid from Nar Shadda that grew up with nothing more than your wits and a blaster at your side to protect yourself. It wasn't an easy life, and one that probably wasn't going to have a very happy ending, but it was the only life that you had ever known. Only through pure luck, something that always seemed to follow you, had you been found by the Jedi Order and brought into their ranks. Not to say you exactly fit in just yet, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, as your unique behavior and way of going about things has already brought attention to you, though it remains to be seen if that will actually be a good thing for you in the long run
The rest of the older new initiates were tested for what combat ability they might have, though none faired as well as you did against the apprentice known as Jerridan. A redheaded girl seemed quite eager to combat you as well after the showing that you gave while in the ring, but Grandmaster Satele Shan told her that she would need to wait. As you watched the rest of the bouts, when it was the turn of the Zabrak male that you came to Tyhton with on the ship, you did your best to cheer him on and offer a bit of advice, though he was still defeated.

When all the bouts were finished, the Grand Master dismissed the gathering of Jedi and Apprentices to announce that dinner would be served shortly, and that you would be free to eat alone if you so chose. This was when the redheaded girl from earlier once more caught your attention, as the two of you ended up as some of the few stragglers to the rest of the group, looking much calmer than she did earlier, the girl locked eyes with you and thumbed back towards the Academy, nodding her head as though she wanted you to follow her.
You don't know who she is, and the way that her attitude changed from so cheery and fight happy, to someone that seemed to be so serious was rather strange. She appears to just be an apprentice as well, so it's not as though you'll have to do as she wants you to, but if she's that interested in talking, it could be a good idea.

While the idea of food doesn't sound all that bad, this is... actually the first time you've ever gotten to see the mysterious thing known as 'nature' since the planetwide city of Nar Shadda most certainly didn't have anything like this. The air is clear, almost sweet in comparison to what you grew up with, and all of the beautiful sights around you are quite enticing. Food is good, but the desire within you to explore is still all too prevelant to ignore. Of course, considering she seems to be rather eager to talk to you, it'd be sort of rude to simply ignore the girl outright. So the obvious thing to do is to make a bit of a compromise so you can get both things done at once.
Just as the girl is about to move to start walking towards the Academy, you whistle, catching her attention once more. Repeating her action from earlier you thumb behind you, raising a brow as well making you look as though you're rather curious, and a friendly grin showing that you aren't opposed to spending a bit of time togethr if she wanted to talk to you... she is kinda cute after all. Seemingly understanding what you were implying, the girl walks over to you, having a not so friendly, but more amused grin. Decent chance you could totally be getting yourself into a situation here but hey that's just gonna be part of being a Jedi isn't it?
"Hello there, new apprentice. It's nice to see that you were polite enough to invite me along for your little walk."
She says, looking rather interested.
The girl still hasn't introduced herself yet, but then again neither have you, but there's a chance she might have heard your name from the crowd during your match with the other apprentice.

This is a bit more 'over the top' than you normally are with women, most of the time it's a smoother cool guy sort of thing, but that doesn't mean you can't have a bit of fun talking with your new companion.
She's a bit smaller than you are, so the girl looks up at you for a few moments before her eye twitches and she starts to laugh, clutching at her sides. "O-Oh you are a treat compared to these people. I knew you'd be an interesting person, but to be bold, I love it!" It takes her a few moments of laughter to finally reign herself in, wiping a tear away from her eye when she's finally done. "My name is Renari. A pleasure, most certainly so." The name finally comes, though you notice that she didn't add on a last name, could be that she's like you and simply doesn't have one, most orphans don't after all.
Though it was fairly interestnig that she made that point about 'these people'... could she mean the rest of the Jedi? The way Renari interacted with the Grand Master earlier implied that she had been around the temple for a while, or at least had enough experience with her training saber to feel confident in taking you on after the beat down you gave Jerridan. Discord within the ranks of the Jedi? Maybe they aren't all killjoys like you heard about from those stories!

Awkward situations are your specialty though, no better way to pick a pocket than to find a target that's obviously uncomfortable and not paying attention, not really applicable in this sort of situation, but hey the basics should still apply no matter what.

Of all the things this girl could have told you, this is without a doubt one of the least likely things she could have possibly brought up, and unless her mother is actually a Rancor, it's gonna be pretty hard to actually surprise you again with the sort of bombshell that she just droped. Sure Renari didn't exactly act like a Jedi as you were lead to believe they were supposed to be like, but to hear that she was actually the daghter of a Sith... the Darths are the really strong ones too if your memory serves you. It's entirely possible this girl could the most dangerous person in the Academy, especially if she doesn't identify as a Jedi.
Yet, she does seem interested in speaking with you, possibly even seems to like you a bit with the limited amount of interaction you've had so far.
