We're AD&D 2e. He had access to my old wizard's full spellbook and wields a Harp of Healing and a Staff of Striking in conjunction with the odd Magic Missile.
He used to be Meistersinger but switched to Jester kit. Character name is "Ferngully" and his definjng moment is getting out of paying tolls to a bandit by speaking in tongues so they thought he was brain dead.
