Tell me about the current plans of your pc's, both short and long term. I especially want to hear about how they intend to deal with the big bad, and what they know about the big bad so far.

Next step is to sell the salvage of a space station to retrofit it to being a Research and Development location.

After, perfect a bioweapon that is basically "The Blob" as an airborne virus. At the same time start producing super morphine mixed with space meth.

The drug trade will fund the next step. Which is developing a Combat Platform for the Virtual Intelligence he has already. Once that is done, upgrade that VI to an AI.

Then, find some nanotech to upgrade the platform to self replicating combat mecha.

From there, I've won.

It also turns out my character is becoming the BBEG somehow.

Short term he wants to expose a cult's existence and make it crumble from within through careful deception and infiltration. He has already risen through the ranks enough to get close to the supposed head of the organization. He has done terrible things to prove his loyalty. Or so it would appear...

Long term he wants to uncover the truth behind why all this occult activity has sprung up of late and has been working to create a network of spies specifically to detect future activity of this kind within the region.

As for the BBEG... He has terrible dreams of horrors unleashed upon the world but nothing solid to go on. With each cult he finds he discovers more about their common roots...

Short-term we're in the past to "steal" (just pick up before they normally would be found) a shitload of God-produced energy crystals that are used up and rare as fuck in the future, to power a special 3-dimensional time travel spell dome that the goddess of artifice built for us.

Long-term? We're going to assemble the greatest, most powerful heroes from every legend that we can. Extremely ancient dragon lords, unmatched psions, a hobgoblin warrior-king who united the northern tribes through conquerig them, and quite a few others that I don't fully remember. We don't have any of them yet, but it should be easy to find - we have an artificial "defective" goddess of knowledge with us, who my character taught psionics to, so she can reliably recall just about any information.

Uh, anyways, we're assembling the army because it's the best shot mortals have of dealing a wound great enough to a universe-eating eldritch abomination that the eldest gods of the universe can force it fully out and seal the universe from it again. It's far too great for anyone of us to actually kill, even with the greatest army ever assembled, so we're content with just trying to force it out.

Short term, escape the quarantined city. Long term, supposedly to succeed his goddess mother as the new god of that domain, but more likely she'd refuse or kill him than give it up.

I think the plan with the big bads is for the party to become newer and active gods/godly servants to fight back the encroachment of a hostile monotheistic faith. All we know of it is that it's like Christian crusaders at the forefront of the encroachment, and they gain more strength the more people convert and the less the old faiths are practiced. Basically they send a priest and some templar-like guards into an area and build a church and try to attract people, muscling them into it at the most extreme, and as the area and its inhabitants sway to the new faith it gains power, directly so in the case of the priest and templars as an example. Also while the priest is doing his work at the church, most of the templars go out to hunt down and destroy vestiges of other faiths, again getting more powerful by this.

I'm the GM, so all I can assume is that they're planning on making me scramble to improv whatever bullshit they decide is more interesting than what's in my notes.

Just the way I like it, really.

Bbeg's short and longterm plans, then?
>>
>>47631771
short term, there's a magic document we need decrypted and some personal plot hooks in the next town over

long term, it's hard to say. we just killed the party's main adversary from the start of the game recently, and haven't run into anyone else yet. the cult she was affiliated with is trying to take over the continent currently, and they're also trying to summon some demon gods and their leader may have been dead for a few thousand years, but we don't know much more than that. supposedly the document we're carrying around describes some weakness they have, so once we get that sorted out, maybe we can start making concrete plans

Long term, get to the macguffin magic nuke rumored to be in the forbidden lost Kingdom of wild magic and dead gods.

Short term, decide of they will pursue possible friendly captives, after resolving some motivational issues (morality, looting, Greater cause:finding a cure to a magic plague on a dying wife shenanigains)

Short term? Get the party rollin' towards Hammerfest (Here be Dorfs) to wipe out a Tiamat-aligned draconic invasion.

Long term? Get the party to the final fight against Ogremoch, Lolth, and Tiamat. (And then take Lolth's throne and godhood, or at least that's what the DM wants her to do.)

All tieflings have diamond naples, of course.

What if they're so rare in the future because you asshats keep stealing them from the past?

Short-term, gotta deal with how I sent my brother to be a married hostage to a family I just brought into the clan; which is for the best. The battle we'd have had if we didn't do that would've been horrifying. I also need to find a new Minister of Information to work alongside me.

Long-term, get the Fortunes to stop hating me. I'm a pretty godless heathen who cares about human life and gold. I need to sort of find religion, because no one, not even my drinking buddy who runs the clan's religious ceremonies has been able to get me to comprehend why I should invest time and effort into worshiping beings who only seem to beat me down if I don't. Feels like a protection racket.

Also kill the Yoritomo. Maybe get one of their lords drunk, plant drugs on him, and make him fuck a pig.

No, actually. The crystals were mostly consumed by a country that used them to reactivate ancient technology.

Also, there's near infinite timelines, so i guess that's the case in some of them, actually.

first, defeat the local drow queen (around level five) and escape the otherworld. then, get recruited by the cleric's god (a local crop god) to deliver a letter to her husband in the capital. hexcrawl to the capital ensues. deliver the letter (now the party is around lvl 10) and hexcrawl back home (maybe, they might just stay there). then, maybe dragon fight? I dunno.

>>47631771
Investigate a demonic cult supposedly operating with the consent of the local government.

Also, go to law school and finally make their dad proud of them.
>>
short term: assassinate the World Government official ruling the island we're on so our ally in the WG can assume control and give us support

long term: go to the island that apparently serves as the center of the known world's largest human trafficking operation (among other things), with the intention of figuring out how deeply the people running the place have infiltrated both the WG and the most powerful outlaws
>>
Long term: Conquer the world and kill anyone who tries to stop them. Revenge themselves on their enemies. Amass power and wealth beyond reason.

Short term: Get away from the bounty hunters who are trying to collect on their heads.
>>
They're trying to figure out how to get into a room, through a door that's ten feet up a wall, since they burned down the stairs and scafolding that served as it's entrance. Somehow this has stumped them.

In the long term, they plan to escort a church official from the mainland, to a particular forest where it is rumoured a witch who worships the old dead evil resides. There, they plan to protect him until he finishes his information gathering mission. Individually, they don't seem to have any plans.

They don't know anything about her, beyond that she's an Elf witch who worships the old dead evil.
