What sensation do tyranids feel when they fire their bioweapons?
Is it pleasure?
>>46410192
They probably feel nothing at all.
Bodily responses beyond pain in a "This shit is wrong, fix it" manner is useless to a construct that's not going to live beyond a couple of months before being recycled.
>>46410192
A satisfaction akin to taking a good dump.
>>46410192
Probably no more of a reaction than when you spit. This is something they're going to be doing very often, having too strong of a sensation associated with it would distract them in battle. I get that you're implying a whole phallic thing here, but realistically it would be a really bad design decision to orgasm constantly in a fight.
What's the biggest sacrifice you or your players have made for an NPC that wasn't mechanically rewarded?
Let me guess, a few gold from your massive fortune for a round of drinks, right?
He killed himself to power a ritual to purge the Damiyo's daughter of spiritual possession, saving an entire town.
They found two potions of longevity from a treasure hoard, and used one to bribe a king to give them a patch of land.
Then the thief gave up the other to her father (who works at the court) for free because she felt the whole deal had been dishonest for some reason.
>>46409813
I had a character who let himself be captured so they wouldn't find the nicest goblin in the world.
He underwent extensive and brutal torture as they tried to extract information and generally be dicks. The result was him being crippled from the chest down, missing an arm, three fingers from the other one, his right foot, both of his knee-caps, a few teeth, most of his face, an eye and his genitals.
He didn't tell them shit. Real icing on the cake is when the party finally sprung him he managed...

Tell me about the last session you played, /tg/
>>46409808
First time with an all-girls group, they actually play really differently compared to guys.
The murderhobo-fuckery was extremely low, which is an absolute plus. But they did try to bend the rules considerably more: "my polar bear can actually do this trick as well!". And they react entirely different towards cruelty and evil stuff, up to the point where they argued whether or not they had the right to kill the filthy creature that clearly came at them with a knife.
>>46409808
Halfway in my hunter: the vigil campaign. The party started out well but they've spent the last two sessions fumbling in the dark. They have a lot of the pieces on the table but they are not making the right connections; I'll probably have to nudge them in the right direction somehow.
>>46410105
Huh. Girls in my experience are pretty murderhobo.
Will this card see a lot of play in Standard? Will it be worth much money?
>>46409405
Here's an image that isn't sideways.
I was really impressed when I first saw this card until I realized it was a Sorcery.
>>46409405
It's a better fireball?
>>46409972
Not even comparable since Burn from Within only can hit one target.
Share your stories, both good and bad
my current game group is 80% gay women with my girlfriend between all of them. It's an online game. and gf wanted to prevent assumed favorites by not establishing our relationship at all to the others. then they all tried to date her and started fighting over her.
boy were they disappointed when they found out she's not into cuck shit
that, and they'd have to share her with me, and they all semi-hate me for being a gross ass dumb ass GUY
>>46404294
Why in the literal fuck would either of you subject yourselves to that? You can find so many different groups online. There's no reason to settle for a gaggle of lesbians with resentment issues.
>>46404390
we didn't know they were gay until that happened, save for one. and they're all good friends and players. just that they saw fresh meat because, reactionarily from our LAST group who kept accusing my GF of being the GM's favorite, we did that. obviously different tactics should be applied for each case. but that's past history now.
and to be fair. my girlfriend is super cute. super super cute. i don't blame them at all for trying.
Alright, going to be getting my first 'crons soon, so I feel like making them Xtra-Speshul Snowflakes.

Running the same old Spell Counter deck I've been running for years because I have more important things to spend my money on. I always get wrecked by anybody who half knows what they're doing , but I'm still having fun.
>>46408462
I'm running a Odd-eyes magician right now
I'm also planning on making a deck with Phantom Knights

Does your setting have magic-based contraception /tg/?
>>46408459
Yes. Only seems fair since magic based conception is a thing as well.
>>46408459
Absolutely fuckin magical
It would if anyone bothered to invent it, but it hasn't really occurred to any major character. Using magic to enhance fertility or ensure the inheritance of certain traits is a much hotter area of research.

Did you like Onyx Path's April Fools blog posts this year? How are you enjoying the new releases?

So what do people think of the Geist Dark Eras?

I have a fucked up leg, received disability for it and everything.
It makes it extremely difficult to walk without aid, or even to stand for extended periods. The worst part of it is the fact that I cannot sit in a chair for longer than a few hour sprints.
I'm going to my first Friday night magic since the accident. I believe they're having a Pre-release, which was at one time my favorite format.
Wish me luck.
Post if you got a disability

Sounds like a win-win to me. You wont get as many magic swords if you level up that way though
My paladin is a vegetarian. She gets violently ill whenever she eats meat!
It seems like the Imperial Guard are the least popular race, and personally my least favorite. Simple design, boring lore, predictable battle strategy and what not.
If there are any Imperial Guard lovers here, tell me, what is it that you like about them. I'm genuinely interested.

thin line holding humanity aloft in a galaxy where everyone wants to kill them.
Average men and women who rise to the occasion in a world where everything has gone wrong and keep fighting the good fight.
Fear not the alien for they are weak.
>>46404887
They used to be popular when they were overpowered.
They're also pretty interesting because they let you do historical/modern military style scale modeling in 40k, especially with models like FW's EDT and DKoK, or Steel Legion. Tallarn and Vostroyan are also very flavorful.
The rivety WWII style tanks are also charming. Especially the FW ones.
So, what did /tg/ think of this series?
one of the best things BL has produced
>>46404258
Good book with nicely fleshed out characters, even servitor.
10/10 make me praise Omnissiah again.
I have only read the first one so far and I really enjoy it.
Help me out a bit, /tg/. Recently one of my players retired her fighter due to plot reasons (him getting married and settling down) so she will roll a new one. Again a fighter.
But, this time my player wants her PC to be female, and wants to base her off, well, a character drawn by a Tumblr NSFW artist, down to the clothing style. When I said I woulds give the PC penalties my player said it was okay since "roleplaying is more fun than minmanxing".
I told her I would ask the others what would they think, and much to my chagrin all loved the idea. So, right...

Stop being dumb and let it happen.
Explain your setting more to us.
If everyone is having fun then just bite your lip and let it happen

Based on which artist? For scientific research.
Also - souls games have some dumb-looking characters. Its the atmosphere thats important.
>Split the squadron- Carolina to the lifeboats, Arroschere to the transitory. (Difficulty 25 Test to remain in com contact, Difficulty 25 Test to reunite if contact is lost)
>TEST PASSED
It was crunch time, an opportunity to see if your little squadron could operate divided. An active com contact on one hand, the perfect target for yourself and the Arroschere. The other was a mess of lifeboats, which meant all of the fresh plebeians. There was quite literally no better chance for you to do this.

"Excuse me ladies and gents, but there is a a toll for sailing these seas. Someone has to pay for use keeping them free of zombies and undesirables, you know."
Or if they're armed, we can let them sail on... We're kind of in a precarious position currently.

You have literally no idea what the fuck they're toting. For all you know, that's an AMC with vertical launch cells.
It could also be totally abandoned, but you never know.
