Not sure but they can definitely deal with debris and other small impacts, witch is VERY important considering the stuff a lot of them are shown doing.
>>48172741
Deflecting debris and deflecting missiles are two very different things.
>>48172809
Yes but in the jump it seems to imply that they will do nothing to protect from physical things and the upgraded shields that can take at least one hit from a capital ship Turbo laser could definitely at least mitigate a hit from most small missiles.
Because it's on the same line, old Sigarda cancels it out instead of making it fuckbusted, right?

I bet that's ADB.
Fuck failing forward.
I fucking hate this meme. They took this idea that failing should be as interesting as succeeding and turned it into "every failure must secretly benefit the PCs because otherwise they'll get sad and quit the hobby."
I fucking hate this "unfun" buzzword garbage, as if the players are something to be constantly pandered to at the expense of the narrative. Guess what? Most players suck. They are ADD-infested fuckers who can barely look away from their phones to pay attention to a game that would have riveted roleplayers...

I mean, every instance of failing forward I've personally seen has been for the sake of hilarity.
>>48163769
Man, you guys need to filter out all this internet culture bullshit of memes, that guys, sjw's, meta-gaming, etc, etc.
When I played AD&D, we had a core group, and a rotating cast of players for 6-7 years. Not one single time ever did we have any of the problems I'm always reading about on here. Choose your friends wisely, focus on having fun, don't take it too seriously. Seems like /tg/ has forgotten the basic principles of sucessful gaming.
>>48163769
>"every failure must secretly benefit the PCs because otherwise they'll get sad and quit the hobby."
Who actually does this and if anyone actually does, why is letting the game grind to a halt because they players didn't roll well enough an acceptable alternative?
-because I need one to exist.
If anyone has the links, that'd be swell.
I kinda prefer it when this is on /vg/.
>>48159648
Take that up with the never ending slew of barbie funtime dress up friends that infest elder scrolls threads on /vg/

I wouldn't call Yorrik a That Guy.
Of all the advisors I found him the most level headed for all that we argued on some key issues. He was well meaning, of strong principles, possessed moral integrity and never seriously tried to weasel out of things.
The dwarves on the other hand were a different matter.
>>48110407
Except Yorrik was never on the reasonable side of the issues he brought up, while being more level headed in other people's issues.

So question. Does anyone know if a Druidism/Nature based CYOA exists?
If not, how about an Alchemist/Alchemy themed one? I've been on a real strong Mana Khemia kick lately
Is it still called cyberpunk if the corps are the good guys?
>>48168177
No.
>>48168177
Yes, provided the "heroes" are still punks. Cyberpunk is about resisting The Man, whether or not he's a good guy or a shill. Also, it's pretty close to inconceivable that corporations would be good guys, even Google is shady as fuck and they literally have the motto "Don't be Evil".
>>48168177
It doesn't matter if they're good guys or they're trying to save you. If the corp is stopping you from having a good time or making you conform, fuck 'em.
Has anyone played this, Is it any good, have any thoughts or opinions on it.
>>48167375
It's a mixed bag, the character creation is good, the intrigue/combat system for a single character is fucked up.
The House building is goat, the management is a nightmare.
The army creation is top, the army order system can be broken with a few orders.
>>48167454
This, the game is more fun to create things with than to actually play.
>>48168042
>>48167454
So it's like half awesome... That's disappointing.
If you could be a member of a Ravnican guild, which guild would you join, /tg/?

Orzhov.

New gameplay trailer is out. Looks like they really fixed all the animation problems from before, where everything looked weightless and weak.
They really need to get someone else to narrate these things, though, because that guy is fucking terrible.

>New gameplay trailer is out. Looks like they really fixed all the animation problems from before, where everything looked weightless and weak.
What the fuck are you talking about, it looks exaclty the same, and absolutely shit.
Fuck Relic, Dawn of War should have been allowed to die a quiet death instead of being turned into this bullshit.
It looks...okay. I still maintain a men of war style system would've been better, but this is certainly acceptable. Nothing outstanding, but no notable issues. Seems to go slightly more starcraft with its Hard Counter Units System and very specific cover spots, but the heroes are very much what keeps this from feeling derivative. The art style seems to draw your eye to the hero units by giving them more detail than the line units. No word on how much, if any, customization is in the game.
Imperial Knight Lady sounds exactly like somebody I would expect to pilot an Imperial Knight. I think I'm going to like her. But Gabriel is crazy brash.

How are basilisks and predator tanks?
>>48167498
Basilisks are alright, would be better if you play on larger tables than 6'x4'
Predators do their jobs, I don't like their low side and rear armor personally, but their weapons are solid, and frontal armor good for the cost

Let's just stick to what actually matters: Personality and Powerset. We're all Jumpers who probably have a dozen ways to change their companions bodies here.
