Ok, so what needs to be added further to the sector?

More Gue'vesa, and Pivole recommended one more civillised confederate world to round them off.

How do other GM's on /tg/ handle moral choices in games? Do you like presenting players with two morally questionable options and asking them to choose, or do you avoid moral dilemma's like the plague?
For instance, last full campaign I GM'd, presented players with two people vying for throne of a kingdom.
>Rightful king. Iron-fisted dictator, but highly intelligent and rules as an efficient bureaucrat that establishes trade and makes alliances.
>King's half-sister who has started rebellion...

>moral choice
Don't make present them as such, and, for the love of god, don't make them binary.
Just describe a situation and see how your players/characters deal with it.
Don't call them out on their murderhobo antics OOC, and just incorporate the consequences in-game.
>>46454649
Pretty much. Don't make them choices, make them fields.
Only issue with moral choices is the risk of disruptive party infighting.
That can be avoided with a reasonable amount of backstory at creation and giving the characters bonds so they have reasons to stay together.
Otherwise, what >>46454649 said.
create a setting based on this kind of dress-up.
>>46452966
Well with that you've made it pretty much impossible. Why wear such covering coat and no clothes underneath?

Yugioh fans are descended from children, so its logical that the only players for it are manchildren.
Magic on the other hand was mostly marketed towards teenagers and young adults and is a bit more mature in general. Though I find egotistical players are more common in MTG, especially in FLG aristocracy that is friends with the owners.
Its like a real life example of forum post wanking with your opinion shot down because the owner gives them a discount on the food.
>>46452271
Tried to dance around it a bit, but yeah.
The more I look at Yugioh and realise how many people over the age of 25 play it scares me.
It's normally the teens that are aggressive, but I've seen the odd ~40 year old dude lose his shit because someone beat him.
>>46452299
You are on /tg/, you don't need to dance around shit. I am pretty sure yugioh players know they are manchildren as well. Same is extended towards Pokemon. Nothing wrong with it, it just means you stay away from the store on Wednesdays because its 'Yugioh' day.
/tg/, I have an issue. My players want to play as the Empire. Again. Sith/inquisitors/knights of Ren may or may not be involved. The trouble is, I just can't think of a compelling plot for the Empire.
The heroes are usually underdogs. Imperials have odds stacked severely in their favour at basically every given moment of the story, and trashing underequipped, small rebel cells just doesn't seem interesting to me.
What do I do?
>>46452064
Internal corruption plots could be workable. Have them be forced to deal with corrupt officers, administrators, bureaucrats, etc.
You could polish it up that whoever this person/group is, that they're going after the sector's Moff, Admiral, or even the Emperor in some grand power play.
Instead of being underdogs in the same way rebels or smugglers would be, they're just forced to deal with the calamity of being in the right place at the wrong time. Plus it could give you all sorts of...

Stop being unoriginal. If anything it seems like the perfect set up.
Starts with the enemies basically being pisses civilians who are rebelling and the PCs start from a position of relative safety and power. As the campaign progresses, they get more organized, better trained and equipped.
They get their own heroes and pose a legitimate threat, and the PCs need to contend with these rebel heroes while ensuring they aren't losing planets and the Empire starts to erode around them.
>>46452064
The transport gets shot down in enemy territory and they have to defend it for 26 hours as rebels forces lay siege to their position.
They have to deal with internal politics, make them watch as an otherwise good man is thrown to the wolves because it would help the moff slightly.
A bro tier co is a rebel spy trying to flip the PCs.
How can you persuade a GM to be more consistent with handling rules? I am not talking about rules-heavy systems like anything d20-based, but much lighter and compact systems whose rules are few but tightly written.
Sometimes, the GM of a campaign is simply incapable of handling rules consistently, even under a light and simple system. A mechanic might work this way in one scene, and then a completely different way the following scene, and then yet another different way the next. This makes it so that the players are incapable of discerning what their characters can actually...

>How can you persuade a GM to be more consistent with handling rules?
By fucking him.
>>46444897
Please give examples.
>>46444923
Perhaps the most noticeable example of inconsistency with handling rules is combat.
Sometimes, such GMs, even when running rules-lite systems, try to adhere to the combat rules and maintain a semblance of a turn order and anticipatable outcomes. At other times, they discard the combat rules entirely, and everything devolves into a process where everyone "does something cool" whenever they feel like it (even the enemies), and the PCs win when the GM thinks they have rolled high numbers a sufficient number of times.
There is little rhyme or reason short of the GM's whims.
Congratulations are to be given, men, we've recovered inquisitor Jackson, albeit the fact that to do it made us fight other inquisitors has given me doubts if we did the right thing... this regiment is attached to the Ordo Xenos, not Hereticus...

I've been running a long term D&D group that has been exceedingly great at RPing. Then a new player joined with a magical device that ruined everything. Anyway, after she joined the group has gone completely down hill in terms of RPing and has become completely centered around flattery towards the new player. Now, every member of the group that used to care about the story or plot just care about getting any sort of reaction from the girl.
Case in point, people are discussing what to do next and she suggests something completely stupid and completely off the...

Hello, thank you for contacting the /tg/ complaints department.
Have you tried talking to the person like a mature adult?
>Highly infectious magical body swapping disease
Thank god we have magic healers
>>46447128
>this disease is immune to Remove Disease xD
Don't think that the DM wouldn't go there. You know they would.
Or they'd have the Cleric swap bodies with someone first and then say "you can't cast prayers in this body, and the other guy doesn't know how to in yours! xD"
>>46447064
>disease
The only way I can even begin to see this work is some horrifying zombie plague where certain characteristics of a person somehow imprint themselves upon the infectious agent and influence the way subsequently-infected zombies act

I dunno about balance, having only played a small amount of 53. But sneak attack, warlock spellcasting, and extra attack at level 5. Kinda... insane? Also why blindsense.
Not even close.
It's like if someone minmaxed 3 paths of Warlock, and then made them into their own class with their own features.
Then as a cherry on top, they added in a few features from other classes that they were jealous of.
That shit is broken don't let them run it holy fuck
Memes aside, is there anything that makes Rune Priests different from standard Librarians? Does the usage of Fenrisian rune shamanism do anything? Are they safer than Librarians?

Well, they're space wolves, so they're probably stronger, better, safer and wolfier than other space marines.

How do you play a paladin without turning him/her into a Mary Sue or a self-loathing emo in the end?
>>46451378
Before I answer that question, I have to ask why you think a paladin might become a self-loathing emo in the end.
>>46451394
Oath of Vengeance, perhaps?
what if your paladin seriously struggles with temptations that go against his/her faith?
How to remove players from your gaming group?
We meet in person btw.
There's a guy who I'm friends with who I though I'd like to play with. He said he can only come if his pseudo-girlfriend can come as well. I agree to this.
The girl is a nightmare. Constantly making her characters overly sexual, often times asking if she can seduce male NPCs, often times just saying things like "because I'm a girl". Her characters are complete self-inserts so she can play as herself, she has no idea what she's doing and doesn't care,...
