If /tg/ designed a roguelike, what would it be like?
>>46457612
Slutty elves. Slutty elves every where.
>>46457652
Don't forget dorfs.

It's called UnReal World, anon.
Alternatively, Incursion.
Alternatively, NEOScavenger.
Alternatively, ADOM.
Alternatively, Dark Days Ahead.
Alternatively, Stone Soup.
Can we have a HUMANITY FUCK YEAH thread? I'm sick and tired of lefties and hippes saying humans ruined the Earth and we should all get killed.
Pics/discussing of humans kicking xeno/fantasy ass and fucking xeno/fantasy bitches. Can be fantasy, sci-fi, etc.
>>46457325
So, Star trek thread then?
it's an uphill battle to unlock the next 7 dimensions, pretty crowded up there.
Oh, ecology change will get a lot of us killed. And survivors will be able to hatefuck every xeno because of being durable enough.
A vast empire of human controlled systems has just made contact with the imperium of man, they begin to invade and conquer outlying systems under the leadership of someone called vader.
This empire has thousands of ships deployed in the systems they are attacking and are moving between systems using a method of that doesn't use the warp.
What is the imperiums response?
>>46457046
Lightspeed, Uses plasma based weapons.
Thousands of ship for every system they are invading.
Without a doubt the imperium of man will fall, they can't mobilize fast enough.
It would take about 800 years to mobilize for war.
>>46457077
By then the zerg will have killed everything in the galaxy.
>>46457104
That's probably why the Emperor of mankind is preventing the plot from advancing he is giving the imperium time.

So where did GW get the inspiration for Lucius the Eternal from?
I really like the character and just wondered if they ripped it from somewhere or if it was an actual original creation.
Lucius is a DICK.He's my favorite too.
>>46456557
I definitely think Lucius is one of, if not the, best unique character from a flavor standpoint.
My *personal* favorite is Ahriman though. A sorcerer so ambitious that he means to make himself a god and usurp Tzeentch, his own patron, who just looks at this and says "I like this kid, he's got Moxie!" and makes him his chosen champion.

>Note: God is not a bearded figure who wants anything, it's just a force of order that pushed back the primordial chaos, like a supernatural big bang
This is argued about a LOT in-setting.

Reposting something nice from the last thread:
Btw, this is what I was thinking of doing if running Werewolf The Apocalypse. Keep in mind this is me interpreting the setting as I see fit. Some of this is just me stressing up some parts over others while some parts are fluff changes.
-The main theme is 'divided we fall': the Garou are supposed to be a pack, yet their society is incredibly divided. Not only did they purge the other shapechanger species, breaking the unity of gaia's children...

Giving yourself up to the Supernal is a rough choice, it involves destroying your identity and agency, basically everything you are.
Now that there's an unfinished RPG, Worm is official /tg/

There's been an unfinished RPG for a long time. Weaver Dice has been around for several years, now.

Doesn't make it any less bloated. It's pretty obvious that the writer had no idea where they were going with the plot.
Plus, trying for a more realistic take on superheroes and still having them dress up in costume and fight crime... it doesn't work.
Still, it has some neat ideas and the characterization is decent.

Hello /tg/ I'm in the process of raising funds for a product launch and I want to know what you look for in a kickstarer.
What backer rewards do you like?
Personal credit rewards like getting your name in the book, little extras like dice bags, getting to name or design characters for the product? Play sessions with developers? Or do you just want the product and nothing fancy?
What information do you like included? Do you want to see how they plan to spend the money? A sneak peak of the content? Does the intro video need to be funny? Or well made? Does...

Depends on theproduct.
>>46454221
This.
>>46454179
If you include backer-only components, and they're not purely cosmetic ones like fancier pieces, I will never purchase your product.
Do other fetches have a system based on them?
>>46454177
>Fetch quests are a fetish
This explains so much.
>>46454177
Out of the box, Ironclaw is a lot more Redwall than it is Sonic OC, but to answer your question, yes, plenty of fetish systems exist.
>Fatal
Goes without saying. For your guro scat large insertion rape fetish and a whole bunch more.
>Maid
Can be run without inserting fetishes, but provides ample opportunity for, of course, maids. Also lolis, robots, magical girls, tentacles, and pretty much any other anime fetish.

Don't forget that Pathfinder has a lot of stuff that is already heavily fetishistic, including a (admittedly chaotic evil) goddess dedicated to getting herself and other people with monsters. There's also Harlot Sweets for those into bimbofication. And don't even get me started on the Enchantment spell school.

I'm not sure whether or not I should laugh or cry.
Wait, so it doesn't come assembled? Why the price then?
>>46454047
I'll just leave it here.
If you don't think its worth that much, don't buy it. GW only has as much power over you as you let it.
I would like to play a tiefling in my campaign. Our campaign revolves around Waterdeep so tieflings are not so impossible and DM has cleared me.
I understand that /tg/ does not like tiefling much, what can I do to avoid the sort of pitfalls that gave people bad impression of tieflings, except the obvious "don't make edgemaster backstory".
>>46453984
Mostly, don't make an edgemaster background.
>>46453984
Think about whether or not there is any other reason for you to want to play a tiefling aside from you thinking they are hot and wanting a qt tiefling waifu.
If the answer is "no", then play something else.
>>46453984
>I understand that /tg/ does not like tiefling much
/tg/ is not some grand arbiter on what you should and shouldn't play.
Mostly don't be an asshole and don't fuck the party over.
You have 10 millions to spend only on /tg/-related stuff. Wat do?
Hard mode: no purchase can benefit you personally.
10 millions of what?
>>46453599
>You have 10 millions to spend only on /tg/-related stuff. Wat do?
I build a small dungeon in real life.
>>46453599
I refuse your hard mode.
I purchase all of the /tg/ stuff I could possibly want, keep what I like, then sell the rest to other people for 1/2 price.
That way, I get what I like, and I get to keep some of that ludicrous money.

What the fuck I just read? Oh well, it's nothing new that Canada sucks. Still, wonder how much of that story is true even if it's Canada.
So ... I'd ask for some assessment/ideas on my concept, /tg/.
I want to present kobolds to my new group. I want to present them mainly as intelligent and not inhenrently violent.
So I was thinking ... what do you think of an idea of kobolds moving into mostly human-settled badlands? There they pick a nice hill and fill it with tunnels. They secure it with all sorts of traps, prepare murderholes. Then I was thinking ... What If they used this place for something more/better then just a raiding staging point. I don't know - a bank, some sort of aid to other...

what's an kobold?
>>46453348
I like the idea of kobold bankers. It makes a nice niche for them in the fantasy world, without really displacing any other fantasy race, and even gives a little pun to the term "gnomes of zurich", if we're going with more folkloric kobolds. Also the mining probably helps with banking really well, lots of raw resources to use as capitol.
It would probably benefit a region the same way that banks in general benefit a region. You have middlemen(bolds) for mercantile deals, a secure and trap-infested...

They used to be dog-people. Then later editions of DnD made them into this weird canon-fodder race of subterranean dragon-children who are basically on par with goblins.
