Hear ye, hear ye. I hereby call to order this meeting of the most illustrious Mages Guild! Now as you're well aware the guild's Hall of Portals is an amazing way to get to anywhere in the world. And, that it's free to use for all members of the guild for transporting yourself and anyone you decide to bring with you. HOWEVER it is not a toy, nor is it something you are alowed to just hand off access to. If anyone wonders why I'm bringing this up it's because of two things. First, some warlord was alowed to use the hall of portals to invade some far off...

I'd have the "Return from the Past II" holodrama sequel set in 40s ABY, after the whole Caedus, Abeloth etc stuff so the surprise future tech would be Yuuzhan Vong biotech rebuilding say.. Coruscant. Then the alternate evil timeline can be The Force Awakens that they have to prevent.
You could even have Hux as a skinhead gang leader they encounter on Coruscant attacking Vong repairs and even Jagged's...

Entirely because of that asshole Speck. Bloom was a fringe combo deck that went off maybe 8-10% of the time, and it was very fragile.

Before you lies the City of The Golden Tower: Transcendia. The golden tower rises all the way up into the sky, with such majesty that it contests Sol for the Zenith, casting a shadow upon its own place in the world.
Behind you lie the armies of the Free Marches in combat with the Royal army. The Free Marches led by Mira, the Guisi slave that you'd freed so long ago and now a maiden of freedom that's become known as “The Red Viper.” You hear the roar of battle behind you as they fight in the open field, and yet you stand at the wall, touching the stone and...

(It's not a contest you brat. We're killing the King of Hylon Kings. This is where we see the next day!) The horns of the Guisi curl overhead and underneath your chin, the darkness of his altered form abated just at the frame of the Makoh marks.
(This may be our last dance. Let's burn brighter than ever!) The Namour's heart eyes shine with Makoh starbursts framing the pupil. The Burning wings changes into a pure blue blaze that burns in a single steady direction, scorching the earth.
“We fly.” You say as you jump off, blasting up into the heavens, swiftly converting your hands into burning jetss as well for more stability and power.
Twelve faces are with you. Twelve heroes, one from each Arche. One for each element of Thespia and the various threads of fate. At most you can combine three, yet it'll need to be enough. By Rava's own admission after Avar's death, they could at most perform a fusion of two, and even then it was barely stable. After they'd become Dramani to hide from the king, they could no longer maintain other faces as their empathy ran dry in those forms.
You close your eyes for a moment as tears flow down your face, spurred by your velocity and the wind's resistance.
Suddenly, you're shocked to find yourself suspended, the bricks in the Golden Tower no longer moving past your vision as you encounter a barrier that Rava had told you about in her brother's place...
“None are allowed to fly here by order of the Supreme One!” The wind howls as its galeforce whips up to blow you back towards the ground.
(To shreds I say! Rip them apart!)
(Slip through, we may become vapor.)
(Dance, dance, burn and dance!)

What do you need to know when you make a sideboard in mtg?
What the more popular decks are
Which of them my deck is not favored to win against
What cards could I easily add to the deck that help increase my chance of winning against those decks without interrupting the general plan of my deck
Well, for one thing, threats that your main deck can't deal with, or deals with poorly.
>>48172380
Is it something you make when you originally conceive your deck, knowing which cards you'll need to slot in and out? Or is it a case by case basis depending on the card being switched in (i.e. Creature for Creature, Instant for Instant, etc.)

Repost of idea for reworking Oramar
I'm thinking that the Warp Raiders are less specifically attempting to averting visions of the Emperor's death, but are obsessed with trying to decipher fragments of visions they see.
I'm thinking they have a very teleological view of the universe and believe in something akin to linear fate, looking for an absolute truth.
In their odyssey, they cross the edges of acceptability with xeno tech and warp entities and are called to account for it at Nikea, which...

Must be a slow day.
Why do so many RPGs seem to include next to nothing in terms of task difficulty examples?
This is a personal pet peeve for me, both as a GM and as a player.
How am I supposed to know if my task DC's make sense when there are almost no examples for the skill in question?
How do they expect other GM's to know? I often find myself given one DC for a task, and then that same GM gives someone else a completely different DC for the same task later on, because he's just making it up as he goes and can't remember the DC's he's used...

Which RPG are you complaining about?
>>48172233
there are guidelines for difficulty, you need to know where to look. An example i remember is a DC 80 escape artist check in D&D is equvalent to a normal human fitting through a 2 inch wide opening. this was from an actual sourcebook too. just dont remember which.
>>48172233
Bounded accuracy in 5e is great for this.
>5 is simple
>10 is relatively easy
>15 is typical
>20 is hard
>25 is very hard
>30 is near impossible
I think shitty systems and dice pools are the only ones that make this hard.
So my game plan is to fold if my opponent gains 6 life before I can combo off.
Thoughts or suggestions?

Hello Force of Will faggots!
I'm personally an MTG player, and my store recently started carrying Force of Will. Just to get some info on it, I started looking at cards, just to get a glimpse of what the expensive ones are ((expensive == good, usually)), and I was just fucking floored. In MTG, there's atleast one $20 in every single set, there's always a money card. Every time. Without fail.
Pic related. What the hell is wrong with FoW that the prices are just this rediculously far off in each set?? (1/2)
To go from a $3.50 highest value card to $150? Why? What the actual fuck?
Bump because this shit needs an explaination.
>>48187557
Your second pic is the FoW equivalent of full art foil dual lands, thats why they're so expensive.
