Discuss about warcraft as a Tabletop campaign setting
old Thread
>>47103110
>THIS IS CANON
So anons, how would you expand the Ethereals in a hypothetical expansion? Full retard Spelljammer style expansion? Focusing on the schism in their culture, with power blocs of Trade Princes? Or continuing the alternate dimension theme, and stuffing in various versions of major lore figures who have been changed in miniscule ways because "muh nostalgia" and "putting the WAR back in Warcraft"?
>>47147395
Take your cancer topic and shove it. Why even make a thread if all you're doing is bringing up the same shit that's been discussed for hundreds of posts in the last bunch of threads and which will never lead to anything good?
Fuck you.
OP from previous demon thread here,
Since the last thread got some major steam and good discussions, lets have a new one.
ITT: creatures that otk if they're not dealt with or blocked.
>post your gigganiggafu, ones that don't see much play preferred.

Pic related is my favorite.
This seems like a fairly underused, and underrated card. Any sac deck that splashes green should have this as an auto-include.
Combine with Angry Ommnath and the Amulet of Vigor and you have a nice G/R wincon there.
>>47145238
this is almost a junk rare
infect, or even wither, is indestructibility's hard counter.
this creature has both, from a set where infect was common, it basically made Darksteel Colossus, into Shitsteel Colossus
>>47145601
>if you put this casual crap card into a deck that is already over powered, it makes this card overpowered
no
>>47145601
Seems like it could have a fun time with Emeria Angel and Amulet of Vigor, but...
>5 mana, plus one before it does anything
>Incredibly underwhelming effect in a void
Kitchen table at best.
What's the most evil thing a lawful-good character is allowed to do?
Troll post on /tg/.
While still being Lawful Good?
Drug someone with Lawful Good knock-out poison, then stick them in a crystal that brainwashes and forcibly makes them lawful Good against their will.
Take a life. Paladins throughout the times haven't gotten smite for nothing.
Which universe literally has he best, deepest lore?

For LotFP, I'm currently building an absurd 10 room cave/dungeon that is ridiculously gonzo. Everything from potential laser rifles and mutagen syrums, locust-men, a door that opens into space. It's really fun, and the first I've ever made.
What about you?
HOLY SHIT GOBLIN PUNCH JUST RELEASED HOMEBREW RULESET
>>47135776
Not a whole lot. Just trying to maintain a steady game going through B2. I have been messing around with NPC stuff in Vornheim to develop the the residents of the Keep but that's about it. I want to work to put Dolmenwood just to the west of Keep but obviously Wormskin is detailing hexes in the middle of that map and not near that convenient road in the east.
>>47136209
This is true. Anything cool looking in them?
>character movement distance is based on a dexterity attribute and not strength
>don't need muscles to go fast
is this proof that game designers don't exercise?
>>47132971
I don't know but my cat doesn't
>All Exercising = Strength Training
All the games I can think of that have a 'run' skill base it off strength.Athletics in DnD, 'Running' in Shadowrun...
I don't know of any that function of the dexterity stat.
KD Thread.
Never seen one on /tg/, hope it isn't banned here or anything.
Also, is there an anon kind enough to upload the rulebooks? I really need those and simply cannot find them.
Honestly, I love the monster design. I just wish that the entire thing wasn't sold out 24/7.
We need more lovecraftian nightmare crapsack world TTGs.
Is it really a good idea to play table-top rpgs with friends?
Seems like that's an assure way to get drama and ruin friendships.
Mature people don't have these problems.
For me, playing with friends has always been much better than playing with strangers.

It looks like we haven't seen the last of the Vermilion Claws, I have incoming radio messages about a group of them grouping up together on the South... Good news is that the Warp Storm is clearing out! No more rain of skulls or crimson skies!

>Magical Girl roaming the streets, hiding her real identity, giving 'aid' to homeless men to boost her power reserves
This is literally a doujin plot
>Why aren't you playing a shota foxboi kitsune Magical Child vigilante with Companion to the Lonely?
Because my kitsune are based off the foxlings in Shining Force.
The 4 gods of chaos have, through assorted acts of warp fuckery, become aware of a the reality where one of the major marvel universes takes place(616 probably). For their own amusement, they set about corrupting and conquering as many heroes as they can.
My question to you, /tg/ is who falls to which gods and who rejects the primordial truth?
Some ones that occur immediately
Wolverine falls to Khorne
Dr. Strange falls to Tzeentch
Banshee falls to SlaaneshDeadpool falls to Malal

You're a bit late to the party OP
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Thanos_Imperative
In-Universe, Orzammar is a city of about 100,000 inhabitants. How could the city support itself? What type of food could they cultivate en-mass (besides the Nugs we see) to be able to feed this many people? What size of an army could the city feasibly field?
Underground gardens, cheese, lots of meat.
Same as any classic dwarven civilization.
Regarding the army, I'd say about 20k, given a large chunk of the population lives in the sprawl.
>>47156477
Notably, their standing army is probably of a pretty weird size/composition compared to above ground armies. They're basically impossible to siege, but are constantly under duress from below due to Darkspawn incursions.
>>47156477
>literally 1/5 of the population could be the army
Maybe a reserve army, but not a standing army.
ITT: Characters that did nothing wrong.
Humanity during its golden age is talked about as an unstoppable force that could beat Orcs,Eldar pretty much every race in the universe easily. Yet humanity in the current age has trouble fighting all these races now? What downgraded happened exactly? As far as I know Space Marines, Imperial guard etc etc are all the same now as they were back then?
>>47152266
Depends on which bit you mean by 'Golden Age'
> Humans in the DAoT
Had all those wacky STCs that haven't been recovered yet.
> Humans in the Great Crusade
Had the Emperor and Primarchs.
Tech, basically.
What the Guard and Space Marines use now is just what the Imperium mostly remember how to build without it exploding or trying to kill people.
old eldar didn't even consider golden age humanity worth forming a solid opinion about. don't think humanity would've been able to do anything to them other than briefly interrupt their hedonistic torture/sex-parties.
