For memes.
Its the only thing that is worth living for.

Your logic is irrefutable. kys

Are the chaos gods the corrupted version of the eldar gods ?
Khorne is bloodlust, while Khaine is righteous fury. Both symbolize rage and strength.
Nurgle is the god of decay and rot, while Isha is the goddess of healing and life. both symbolize the things that never change; everything will eventually decay and die, but also all things heal and from death comes new life.
No need to explain much about Tzeentch and Cegorach but I do believe they are the same entity with two personalitis that always plot and scheme against himself, one favoring chaos and one against it.
>>47166570
>Are the chaos gods the corrupted version of the eldar gods ?
No, but there are troubling clues hinting that the deities in W40K lore share an underlining, original form or aspect, ie Gork, Khaine and Khorne are actually one and the same, Cegorach and the C'tan Deceiver are one and the same etc...
It conflicts with the canon and fucks up the lore but whatever
>>47166570
Khorne is both bloodlust (hatred, rage, anger) and warrior honor, ya git. But mortals in galaxy feel more anger than "I WILL HOLD THE LINE NO MATTER WHAT", so Khorne is 95% bloodlust and 5% courage'n'honor.
And this is not Nurgle, it's a GUO. Grandpapa also is decay, despair, sadness, >tfw, AND happiness, stability, friendship. That's why nurglings are happy plague bags and not desperate emos.
Why are wizards the worst characters?
>>47165850
Because you touch yourself at night
>>47165850
>Why are wizards the worst characters?
Behold, the refuge of the uncreative mind! If anon can't come up with a way to make his wizard interesting, he can just call them the worst kind of characters and expect you, /tg/, to come up with reasons why that just isn't true.
>>47165850
Because an angry bro-dude with a sword makes a pretty lame campaign villain in a world where demons and dragons exist.
Can Elves and Orcs produce hybrids? If not, do elves-humans-orcs constitute a ring species? Are the other player races separate species, since we see little if any hybridization?
>>47165602
All of these are "depends on the setting" questions, and many settings leave it up to the GM to decide how it works in their game.
You know, almost like the GM is supposed to make rulings and mess with setting canon in order to make it enjoyable for everyone in their group.
>>47165602
Depends on the setting. D&D? Dominant genes win out, making it either a half-orc or a half-elf, stat-wise.
>>47165630
How have you done it then?
To encourage magic PCs I homebrew magic mechanics: Characters have points on different levels on magic, and depending on their class and level they can make up whatever spell or effect they want
If someone's a fire mage for example, spending one level one point lights a candle, one level three point casts a fireball or let them use the same amount of fire as they want, all points of all levels let them just burst a wave of fire but makes them pass out
Sounds good, anyone tried something similar? More important, any official system that perfected something like this?
>>47165334
>To encourage magic PCs I homebrew magic mechanics: the player tells me what they want to do and I just eyeball it
Won't work for every group, but only your group matters.
>>47165357
I meant to say, to encourage my group to not create only roges and paladins
>>47165334
Spheres of Power for pathfinder?
Has anyone got this already? This seems like GW's attempt to slowly revamp 7th edition a little too much with the "Dogfight Phase" and pilot characteristics.
>>47164910
I have it and it's pretty retarded.
Good thing i didn't buy it.
>>47164910
It'll be like the original, few will buy it and even fewer will use the extra rules. You only really want it for the new aircraft rules.
>>47164910
The stromtalon no longer has the sky fire special rule you now have to buy the stormhawk
so 4 out of my 5 skype party members just went on a hour long rent about each other blaming and insulting everyone in quite a hefty way.
Now they want me to kick each other out of the party ...
>>47164496
Do as they ask, kick em all and just keep playing with the one who didn't flip a shit.
Seems like the best way
Either kick all of them or kick the ones that started the shit show.
Unless they have a strong claim for being a fucking twat, for example the other player tried a rape or something fucked up like that.
My vote goes for kick them all
How many soldiers can a medieval fantasy kingdom actually support?
This particular Empire is largely based on Russia (but poorer and more corrupt) and has a population of around 50 million.
It's got a strong military focus but apparently can only field a standing army of about 310,000 people stationed all over the empire and in times of invasion might be able to mobilise and additional 550-600k
Quite a small number for any long period of time, if you have an army in times of war, perhaps as much as 1/10 might be a professional soldier or armsman employed in border security, policing, guard or just general soldiery and training. The rest will be menial laborers with jobs such as farming, industry and any other low traditional shit jobs which in times of war are conscripted, given a spear, shown which end to use and told to march.
But the above might be wildly different, need more information to be more correct, what time in history are you playing in or what...

Truly a visonage of hell itself. Corruption is almost a part of Russian culture.
>>47164044
There were airplanes, actual airplanes, working air fleet that was sold for scrap metal.
A motor-rifle regiment, basically a mechanized infantry like 40k style that was always kept on constant readiness ran out of gas as the reserves had been sold.
Then with the corruption you have horrific low level crime in the ranks itself, working for the officers. Theft, bribery and protection rackets are enforced through rape, assault and murder. So their is no morale and no need to defender the motherland and...

post orc art, talk about orcs, talk about YOUR orcs, talk about orcs you've killed, orcs you befriended, and whatever else about orcs.
Should have started the thread with some smut pics. It worked the last time.
Where's da green wimminz?
>>47163015
That is not an orc. That is an anemic lucha vampire.
Ok this is bothering me a lot.
I was looking up cards so I could know the best rank of them after seeing them on Rugrats cuz it struck me I know what cards beat what, I'd never seen them in order of hands.
Now can a royal flush have different suits? As in can it have hearts and diamonds and A K Q J 10 ? Or does it all have to be one suit, like in the picture?
Because for a regular flush, it's just black or red. If so, why the change from just black to just one suit? to make it harder?
Is there a difference between Royal Flush? And Royal Straight Flush?
>>47162952
>Because for a regular flush, it's just black or red
Wrong.
>>47162952
You seem to be confused about what a flush is. A flush is not just the same color, but they must all be the same suit.

Kobolts.
Overweight, filthy commoners that stand on the side of the street shouting and talking shit at better people as they go by to do heroic/notorious deeds.

>Legion/Chapter is basically space Rome
>Primarch is Space Caesar
>and yet the Codex Astarte's divides the legions not according to a Roman model but a Napoleonic one, with one elite formation of grenadiers (1st company), one formation of Voltigeurs (scout company), and 8 regular formations of main troops
Explain this to me
Because he didn't have to be completely roman on everything.
Besides, it's not eight regular formations - only four of those are battle companies. The other are support companies, still in training.
>>47162527
Which again is a Napoleonic model, as the Fusilier companies in a batallion went from 8 then later to 4
>>47162480
>Explain this to me
>implying it isn't the same damn reason bolters shoot cased gyrojet depleted WATER-tipped explosives that somehow cause recoil and their amazing tank is both slower than modern tanks but has thinner and weaker armor and somehow shoots a gun the size of a battleships' main cannon and the Tau can conquer and maintain dozens of solar systems without faster than light travel and with shorter lifespans than humans
GW is shit at military.
/tg/ It is time to Rejoice!

Characters from media as inspiration thread
These two are wonderful IMO
Hmm, anime/manga would be too easy. Lets try something else.
Ahh yes, the only proper way to play a character who's a noble.
>>47160776
I've been wanting to make a rogue in the same vein as Styx here for a while.
The issue is that he'd be nearly useless in combat, though I suppose I could mostly solve that by just picking up a crossbow and plinking assholes from cover.
