Do you have a favorite homebrew? Or do you just dislike them in general?
Princess the Hopeful
I wanna do Immortal The Highlandering but only one guy in my gaming group is interested
>>47244237
Is that yet another fan splat that is probably terrible, or are you just talking about using the blue book immortal (which is awesome).
What's the most dishonourable thing you've done in-character?
>>47243034
The bard.
>>47243034
Charged a guy in the middle of his monologue. Off a cliff. Into his own army. 10d10 damage. He started that encounter at 1/6th hp.

I was rude to a host, to their face.
Scorpion spiked my drink.
Very proficient at assassination, those guys.
Why doesn't the Imperium team up with the Eldar and Tau to wipe the Orc menace off the face of the galaxy?
>>47230567
Because they are dumb as fuck, and don't know what they are doing?
>>47230567
>Eldar
Not enough elf-power to make much difference, and would never "team up" in any equals sense. They'd always be looking for the chance to pull one over on both of them, and the Imperium would always be looking out for that same dagger; they'd be as good as enemies anyway.
>Tau
Would be like a giant teaming up with a gnat to kill a dragon. The Tau just are not big enough to make a difference.
>>47230567
Eldar are selfish bastards and the IoM are too retarded to consider even a temporary alliance with an alien species.
No longer an MTG lore thread (though lore discussion is still quite welcome), it is quite clear that this is the snowstorm thread.

Meanwhile, in Bizzaro /tg/
I'm so glad they finally put all those Warhammer threads in /40k/, now /tg/ can be used for more of what it was really meant for: quests

Quests sure do occupy the entire board, so ubiquitous. 150 threads of pure questing, all the time, always.
It's a wonder why people still try to do other things.
A Song of Ice and Fire DnD/RPG/Quest Thread: Beta 2.0 test
Created by JONSNO, Ornstein, and Ash, with special thanks to the other memes that occupy the GoB chat
This game is a text-based, player-driven RPG set in George R R Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire Universe. A story is set up by the OP, and is played through by any number of players, with the maximum decided upon by the OP.

At the start of each turn, the OP will provide an update. These updates contain replies from NPCs and results of your roll. To roll for an action, link to the update and formulate your action like this
Player>Action(Stat, specialization)
A roll of 7 will always be a success, with a 5 or 6 succeeding on mundane actions at OP's discretion. A roll of 0 is a critical success, and a roll...

In addition, you must also roll for initial skill points. A roll of 2-3 gives 5 points, 4-5 gives 10 points, 6-7 gives 15 points, 8-9 gives 20 points, and a 0 gives 25 points. If you roll a 1, you can roll again. If you choose not to roll, you can take 10 points. You can distribute the skill points you rolled for among the stats available.

Money and economy play an important role in the world of ASoIaF. Money has the following values:

So tomorrow I'm going to have around ~$180 of spending money on whatever the fuck I want because bills are paid and groceries are bought. I want to try to get into a sci-fi tabletop game but I don't know where to start. I don't have much time to devote to stuff like painting and stuff, so that's almost off the table. I'm not saying that I wouldn't try it though.
I do have a local gaming store, been there a couple times and the owner is a pretty cool dude. Sparked my interest in tabletop, but I never had the money. Now that I have a little bit of spending cash, I thought "might as well."
So, /tg/, where should I start?
Pic related, roughly where my painting skills would be at this current moment.

>I don't have much time to devote to stuff like painting and stuff, so that's almost off the table.
Maybe you should think about if you'll have time for tabletops then, anon.
Are you looking for a pen-and-paper game? Board games? I assume not miniatures, since you said you'd prefer not to paint. "Tabletops" is a pretty vague topic.
>>47253390
Miniatures would be cool, but my pen-and-paper days are over and I never got into board games.

Liked when portrayed well (mouseguard) and I hear Ironclaw/jadeclaw are nice, /tg/ approved systems.
If it's got a snout, it's out.
Ears and tail, feel free to rail.
I find them more interesting than elves and dwarves and so on, simply because they often feel like not!human caricatures instead of anything that's unique or worth putting in a setting.
But this is 4chan, so get ready for a barrage of negative comments. Yiff in hell and so on and so forth.
I'm sorry, i only had a general image with chicken edition.
