What parts of the dragon make the best weapons? Apparently when it comes to Eastern Dragons their tails are often used as swords. I'm guessing there is a single long bone in the tail that can be sharped and used as the blade.
With six limbed dragons who have the ability to go bipedal (or at least stand on their hind legs) their thigh bones would make for good hammers.
Wyverns bones are light and would probably make for good single use daggers or arrow heads.

I mean, there's always teeth for knives.

For armor, scales could make, well, good scale armor. Larger scales might well be used as shields. Smaller scales could make arrowheads if they're sharpened. The leathery skin of the wings could make for a lighter leather armor for someone who doesn't want to be weighed down by plate.
Claws, teeth, horns, spines.
Kickstarter backers should have their rewards, edition.

So I did a conversion, that, as far as I can tell, is legal under the new rules.
This is a assault enforcer on a monowheel scout bike. He can also count as an Enforcer sergeant or captain on monowheel if i want.
And as far as I can tell, the enforcer does not lose his jetpack rule. So its an enforcer with a jetpack that has 1-5 speed.
Dem moldlines though.
I assume he essentially "gets off" the bike to use his jetpack. Then he recalls the bike when he next reaches the ground.

So is this essentially AoS but a lot less stupid?

Delta Green, Call of Cthulu, Unknown Armies--and all the other systems not necessarily designed for it but where a conspiracy enhances the campaign.
GMs: do you have some vast, malevolent council running things? Is a cabal of sorcerers or generals trying to keep the lid on a terrible secret? Is it elaborate and hidden or just beneath the surface, are there multiple competing groups at the top? Is everything your players think they know about the world a lie? Is it the lizard people? Tell us about the conspiracies in your campaign.

Only to turn into demonghost pokemon after they die. Carrying around their previous face.
>characters lose part of the equipment on being defeated
>their stats suffer permanently from injuries and have to be re-leveled /trained
making players undead or "restless" allows them to resurrect from physical death (etheric magic may annihilate their essence for good, though)
will this prevent my players from doing stupid stuff without making their characters seem disposable in high-lethality campaigns?
what do you guys use as alternatives to player death?
>>47196786
Sounds stupid.
If an Orc shoves his sword through my skull, or Corpsec riddles my body with enough lead to render me identical to swiss cheese, then I'm dead.
Tell your players to stop being bitches, and if they feel attached to their characters, don't let them run into cannonfire like fucking morons.
>>47196786
A high-lethality campaign pretty much means dealing with characters being disposable. If you don't want that, don't play high lethality.
Also, rather than non-sensically making them zombies or whatever, just have the bad guys capture them for ransom/slavery/interrogation and give them a chance to escape later. Prison breaks and slave revolts make for great plot-arcs.

I'm thinking about role-playing in vidya, but like a faggot and unlike me playing tabletop it's harder for me to create a roleplay centric character for vidya.
It's for one of the ES games, anyone else has this issue? Also more so the purpose of the thread: what do you roleplay as in vidya? Tabletop alter egos?
Role-playing in Vidya sucks because you don't get to make your own choices, you just get to pick from the really generic, often extremist, choices the game design decided to give you. You can be a Saint with a sword, or a puppy-kicking demon, and maybe even choose a "neutrl" option once in awhile, but you're never truly making your own choices or your own story the same way you would with a real-life GM who can adapt and react and mold the story around what you do and what you want from it.
In short, I don't try to roleplay in vidya because I...

I don't. If there any choices, I choose what I like, not some made-up personality. Then, if game was good, I replaying with "right" choices to get the hardest ending. Simply because choices are too limited most of the time.
One exception was a randumb gnome sorcerer in nwn2, who tried to make as many people angry as possible. Still ended up chaotic-good somehow.

Three words: Space Station 13.
So, /tg/, what's the dumbest thing your DM has allowed you to pull? Regardless of reasoning (from a nat20 getting taken too far to a DM just not knowing any better and you cringing in hindsight at the debacle), what's the most ridiculous/idiotic/perplexing thing you've had happen?
To start, I recently had a first-time DM "allow everything!" for some ridiculous reason, and took a joking shout of "You don't even know the laws of physics, but you really know how to fuck them!" and the use of a chalkboard to accidentally uplift a civilization...

So the dm sets up an encounter specifically to challenge our most combat oriented player, didnt wor oUT lIke that. So we sent him in to scout right? before he went into the building the mage made him invisible, and then he timed it right to follow someone else in and used some magic gloves he had to stick to the ceiling. He ends up directly above the three npcs made to kill him essentially, and declares that he drops from the ceiling and swings his sword in a full circle to decapitate all three at once. To describe this he references the spin attack from legend of Zelda games....

Hi, I was looking into reading the Eisenhorn series, and would normally start with the Omnibus, but the cheapest I can find for that is 50 dollars. It's much cheaper to buy them individually, but I have a few questions I'm hoping someone here can help me with.
For starters, I have heard the Omnibus described as "unabridged." Does this mean that the singular versions of the novels (Xenos, Malleus, Hereticus) are in any way abridged?
If so, is it just the mass market paperback version that's abridged (http://www.amazon.com/Xenos-Warhammer-40-000-Novels/dp/0743411692/ref=tmm_mmp_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=),...

I have no idea about the first question, as I bought my omnibus on the first run it had, but I can tell you imo it's one of the best 40k books out there. It gives you an insight into the broader imperium, and the lives of people there beyond 'muh only war'. Both the short stories are worth a read too. I still read it maybe once a year since I enjoy it so much.
Yeah, the Unabridged version has two really short stories 'Blackcloth for a Crown addional' and another one about a returning army regiment and murders in a hive city. Both pretty good. Good place to start off.
>>47194599
-I was able to find a pdf of the omnibus with two minutes of googling
-The omnibus I found was the books plus the short stories
-I read the series for the first time a few weeks ago as my first real intro into 40k; found it quite good, read the entire trilogy in basically one go
Looking for more like this (especially noble looking).
Are there any more card edits of this type? Doesn't have to just be Magic.

Post a pdf or get the fuck out
In this thread we talk about eternal masters and what cards we think/want reprints of, specifically what commons/ uncommons do we think are good candidates.
I think ponder, preordain, sleight of hand and brainstorm will probably be in the set
I would be more excited if I knew any nearby places that play legacy or vintage.
Also if it didn't cost a brand new car to get started in it.
So what does spoiler season look like for Masters sets? Do they just suddenly dump the set three days before release?
First for divining top
