First for Skorne.
anyone else been like...completely uninspired to play or spend more money on this game? idk

Yeah...
You accidentally freed a demon lord and its your job to clean up the mess. A nearby temple is said to hold an artifact that will grant you a special ability. This ability is random and once received cannot be changed.

How fucked are you?

>Idea Embodiment
>The power to become the embodiment of ideas
Well I might be able to think of a plan to defeat the demon, but beyond that, I am fucked.
Considering Balthazar can't into flying, I should be fine.
I never accidentally do anything, except fall in love.
Considering how much is written about them and their secretive nature, are they more casual than space wolves?
>>47908110
they're like the only cool chapter if you don't like space marines
and boy do i fucking hate space marines
>>47908127
Are you a guardsman fan?
Well, space marines are super-special, super-elite super-soldiers.
And gray knights are super-super-special, double-plus-elite, special-psychic-powers bestest of the very best best super soldiers.
So they're pretty silly.

I wonder how hard it will be to transform to this side
First for Toshiro Umezawa, the most fun commander around.

I feel like this would be fucking sweet in the 99 of Xenagod
Saw one of these threads go up earlier, but it disappeared, which is a shame.
Now, give me 3d6 for where we're based, be it Dorne or the North.
Rolled 6, 6, 3 = 15 (3d6)
>>47900330
Westerlands get.
>>47900348
Literally two off, sadly.
We got the Reach, meaning we're under the Tyrells.
Let's follow it up with 7d6 for our Defenses.
Rolled 6, 1, 1 = 8 (3d6)

Nice Futurama summary

Kip is reptilian?
>>47899351
More amphibian.
Would PTSD be quite common in Imperial Guard regiments?
>>47898739
Nope. Nobody in the Guard lives long enough to develop it.
Shellshock is a possibility though.

>A group of junkers begin harvesting prime angel shells for bodyparts and materials to make massive mobile weapons platforms
Imagine huge ruined body-horror style corpses the size of buildings, with their chest cavities torn and excavated and watchtowers speared into eyesockets, all joined together like the Human Centipede, hauling racks of collossal, shell-busting cannons on their broken backs.
Thats the most metal thing ever.

How else can they stay in the closet?
>>47893274
Because when Gygax was developing D&D, one of the players suggested this, and it was okay'd by the DM. Since most RPG developers are mindless worshipers of Gygax, this has been a thing since.
>>47893274
Leftover from 1st edition D&D. I think 3.pf was the last system to actually use it, aside from OSR stuff.

Old thread:>>47881751
How do you add cute/friendly monsters to your game? In what ways are they forpurging?
I don't add cute monsters because I am not a weeaboo faggot.
If it's cute and/or friendly, it's not really a monster, is it?
>>47892671
>Cute monsters
Going by /tg/'s interpretation of them? I don't.
>Friendly monsters
Most of my monster races have their own cultures, backgrounds, and histories in the world. Meeting someone who isn't an asshole happens. Though as >>47892704 said, typically a 'monster' is someone who is a completely abhorrent character.
Thoughts on Malifaux?
>>47874596
S'good.
not as many thoughts on the skirmish game as the RPG
I have yet to really delve into the system but the thought of using cards over dice intrigues me...
>>47874596
Fun. Great plastic miniatures. Using cards in place of dice is nice and works pretty well with cheating fate and all that stuff.

Because you're not doing it during deployment, the only restriction is that the unit is within 3".
You can combine any two tabletop rpgs, getting the best mechanics and fluff from each.
Which two games do you pick and why?
>>47902823
Can I choose D&D for its popularity?
>>47902851
you could choose to mix different versions of dnd if thats what you mean.
2nd edition D&D and 4th edition GURPS
Mostly fluff from the former, mostly crunch from the latter
I'm doing my best at it myself, but I'm not a fucking company of people that should be making good games
What are some concepts or themes you believe have been over-trivialized by tabletop games and fantasy / sci-fi in general?
>Arthurian myth or anything resembling it
>space civilizations use credits
>evil cult in the sewer
>>47899689
define overtrivialized
>>47899689
Credits make sense as an abstract currency and its allot better than making up a name and saying thats what money is called
Evil cults in the sewer arnt trivial but they are overused in d&d
Maybe reword your post to overused instead of Trivialised
