Eh, better than a Bile of Pricks Edition.
So, what happens to Dark Eldar that you pod or Companion (the Incubi companion from Commoragh, LoT DEldar Companion) once you move on?
Their connection to Slaanesh is either severed or time stopped, but now that their soul isn't leaking out by the ultimate hedonist, would they be a little less sadistic and less likely to go too far? I mean, they'd definitely continue for a while, just because years of habit and conditioning, but they wouldn't literally NEED to act like, well, a DEldar.
Could they be changed? Would they be willing to change?

By turning them back into a regular eldar

At what level is it fair to say "this game is just too silly now"?

Never.
Never.
Depends on the group and the game. I was running a playtest for a weird metasystem called Break, and the first session ended with the PCs putting a crack in the sun. That was fun.
Are there intresting monsters that are basically human (or demi-human) but infected with something magical or similar, other than lycanthropes or vampires? I'm trying to write an adventure for my group, and it's going to have a murderer who's secretly something monstrous, but I don't really want it to be something so overused. It'd be cooler to have something a bit less common. I just can't seem to think of any off the top off my head.
What other monsters would fit well into a supernatural killer adventure where the killer is pretending to...

Other than non-Voodoo zombies, there's a few I can think of off the top of my head.
>Cult of former humans who, due to exceptional circumstances or their own free will, consumed human flesh. Over time, the consumption to feed exclusively on human flesh began to corrupt them, and their desire for flesh overrode any and all other personality traits they may have had, and the residual magic of their actions and their surroundings turned them into silent, barely-humanoid creatures of...

Yes, obscure folkloric monsters that impersonate humans.
You could always make something up.

Didn't really feel like coming up with a name or design.
Also is there any system that works for digimon?
Which is the most despised class?
Rogues.

I have a personal, deep hatred of artificers.
>>43599839
Why?
Are there any modern (post-Heresy) examples of Chaos Space Marines that take inspiration from historical civilizations and/or organizations? Be it in terms of structure, doctrine, personality, or maybe even empire.
Multiple Loyalist chapters do it,
>Ultramarines [Rome]
>Space Wolves [Vikings]
>Black Templars [Templars]
>Storm Lords [Celtics]
>Dark Angels [Catholic Orders]
And probably more.
Surely...

What consenting adults do in their rape fantasy scenarios is really none of your business.

You run up the stairs of the tower. The time has come. Dark Lord Vhapesh, the man responsible for the deaths of millions, conqueror of the known world, the one who exterminated the elves and whose highest ranking general killed your father lies just before you. You are Adam, a paladin, and you bring with you Maria, the sorceress, Deepak, the thief, Jezebelle, the druid, and Antioch, the warlock. You lead the party, a sword in your hand that glows with bright white light. You don't even stop for the door, bashing it down with your shoulder as you enter the top room where the Dark Lord sits.
"Oh, hello. Fancy a cup of tea?" An old man, rather scrawny, sits at a coffee table with teacups laid out. He seems to have politely refrained from drinking any before your arrival. "My vizier told me that I had guests arriving. I do hope that you enjoy jasmine tea. Please, have a seat."
>"Are you Vhapesh?"
>"Oh, um, okay. Thanks."
>"You'll pay for your crimes against humanity!"

>>43598342
"You you Vhapesh?" You ask, holding your sword up.
"Oh, well, I suppose I am. You get so used to the whole 'my lord', or 'your highness' thing that sometimes you forget your name."
The old man smiles, his teeth yellow or missing. This guy has to be at least 90. Nothing like the stories of that dark lord who conquered the lands.
"Come in, come in," he says, waving his hand. "There's no reason to be hostile, is there?"
Maria looks at you...

You have my attention. Least for now.
Alright guys, it's been a long time since I posted here - I swear I was out of the hobby for only a few short years and....this happened?
Can someone summarize what the hell happened?
GW wasn't happy that Fantasy sales weren't good, so they decided to just reboot the whole thing. Lore-wise, it is basically the End Times with a new world created out of it.
Chaos takes over the Fantasy world, so Sigmar, now a god, creates new realms/planes for each faction including himself. Slowly, Chaos makes its way into all of them, and those races retreat into Sigmar's own new realm. Hilarity ensues.
GW also renamed all of the races and introduced a Space Marine-esque army as the new face of Fantasy. Additionally, AoS uses round bases, and...

Well, that's the most succinct explanation I have seen.
Wow, ballsy move. Did the consider ...maybe... lowering their miniature prices to try and incite sales? No? Righto. Carry on then.
So.....Orcs are 'Orruks' now? :/
I forgot to mention that Khorne is the BBEG and Slaanesh is now a minor Chaos god, replaced in the pantheon by the Skaven's Horned Rat.
I play Chicken Game.
Your move.
You'd better not destroy my card. Unless of course,you're....chicken.
Bwuaaack! Bwuack! Bwuack! Bwuack! Bwuaaaack!

So rate this Magic concept, /tg/.
>"Magic" also called Sorcery, Arcanism, High Spellcraft, etc. Allows the user to cast magical spells with a myraid of impressive, usually instant and obvious effects. Fireballs, summoning creatures and objects, warping space, teleportation, etc.

why not just call them sorcery and thaumaturgy
?????
why go with two differently-spelled-but-phoetically-identical names? that will be awkward at the table
You forgot one, OP
>"Majyk" also called Using Stupid Names for Things, is the art of using stupid names for things when it should be really obvious one or more of the names is shit

I keep seeing this picture.
Where does it come from?
How old is it?
Who is he?
How many Skittles do you have to eat to hurl the rainbow?
So many questions
>The BBEG has captured the parties hometowns, taking everything that they have held dear away from them.
>He turned each town into a gigantic casino with many forms of gambling.
How would your last character react?
Bitch please, half of my bard's time was spent in inns and lounges. Time to revitalize my old career.
>>43597227
>Hometown completely decimated after massive war some 10 years earlier in the campaign
>Nice guy Asmodeus builds a Casino on top of the wreckage
My most recently played character would very ok with this.
>>43597227
My last character grew up in the fantasy version of Las Vegas.
I doubt he would notice the difference.
What nonstandard player character races does your setting have?
>>43597149
Shit, my setting is MOSTLY nonstandard player races. I'm actually currently working with my players and an artist we commissioned to flesh them out visually.
None. Humans only.
>>43597149
Adorable little Plant People?
The rest of the "nonstandards" are dead, or lost.
