>In the times of old, the worst criminals were converted to undeath through elaborate necromantic rituals
>Once transformed, these criminals were wrapped in heavy ropes and thrown into a large bog where they sank.
>There, below the surface, they persisted for centuries--the strain of isolation and confinement weighing heavily on their twisted minds pushing most far beyond the breaking point.
Neat.

That's pretty horrible. You're basically taking this criminal who might or might not be insane and subjecting them to a fate hat makes them guarantees to be insane and incredibly dangerous if and when they eventually get released.
Are densely populated regions more likely to survive an apocalyptic event?
Why are Americans so fucking salty?
>>43747557
sparsely populated areas would be more likely to survive because the living conditions there are more likely to be shit by default
If I wanted to run a game centered around melee/fist fighting between giant robots and potentially some monsters, what system would be best?
What about that premise do you want to focus on? What style of game are you imagining? A gritty, brutal world where death comes quickly? A high powered, over the top super robot sort of thing? Something in between? There's a lot of ways to do giant robots punching giant monsters.
>>43747987
>Giant robots punching giant robots punching giant monsters punching giant monsters punching robots.
I was thinking a literal martial arts setting, except instead of being individual people, they're pilots of giant robots/giant monsters. So a little bit of both. Over the top in that it's 300 foot tall metal men punching and kicking each other, but realistic in that there aren't megazord/transformers style crazy giant swords and lasers. Think Pacific Rim meets the Raid.

I've ran a game like that in Legends of the Wulin, but people on /tg/ have started to get annoyed at me for recommending it. I just love the system, and think it has the best mechanics for high action combat in any RPG, ever. The one shitty thing about it is the core book is awfully edited which makes actually learning to use it a real bitch, but once you get past that it's sublime.

Ifrit dick optimization edition. Can you use your radiantly glowing erection as your cavalier's banner?
>>43746970
Kender you say?
Hey /tg/ my friends want me to run this soon. So I was wondering if you guys have any tips for running the game/in general.
I'd also love to hear greentexts and people's experience playing it.
Never make a deal with a drag-... No...
Hype bump

Holy shit. The Lands of Always Winter are actually across the meridian and are on the other hemisphere of the world?
>The Taxmen learn that you've been adventuring for years without turning over any of your spoils to the Tax-Halls.
>The Taxmen cometh
Actually me and my adventuring party work for a planar tax agency already. The end goal of the campaign is to collect Tiamat's back taxes.
>>43746840
I get ready to pay up.
Aint nobody fuck with the taxman.
>>43746840
I charge in to fight them screaming "end the fed"
Sup /tg/, any system you'd reccomend for a Kamen Rider esc campaign that isnt GURPS.
Nothin' against GUPRS i just wanna know if their is something else i could use.
>>43746831
I ran a Gaim campaign using Wild Talents before, maybe give that a shot.
It might not work for all groups, but it worked for mine.

Which house would your current character be sorted into?
>>43746730
Your mom's house of course.Seriously I'm a playing a womanizing bard.
RavenclawBecause he is literally the head of Ravenclaw. The other players are the other heads of house

Norscan Berserker with great weapons fetish. Sort me as you wish.
I TOLD YOU I WOULD DO IT EDITION
I said in the terrible modern general I'd make a legacy general.
This is that. Discuss legacy, why storm variants are the best decks unless they're SI, and why no one has the balls to play No-Land Belchercross
>>43746416
This thread is as dead as the format.
Why go no land when every one is going all Lands? The lands player copycats are coming

Hey /tg/, where do you draw the line with fantasy weapons? What's the craziest weapon you've ever had or seen in a campaign?
>>43746299
the line is with Sikh arsenal
>The double-bastard sword.
A dwarven minor relic that was a Bastard sword but at its point was a fist, and clenched in that fist was another bastard sword. The thing was huge.hey
>>43747259
Whoever came up with this is a fucking double bastard.
Welcome one, and I welcome you all to the tale of a world called Thespia.
Here is the odyssey of one that clings to this world with no face of their own! In a place where magic is fundamental to all of creation, all who live wear their lives upon their face, where a fire might wish to be the cooking fire of an inn!
Previously the Faceless set boundaries with a clingy Protean foxwoman, letting her know of his role's status as a widowed man. Bereft with guilt, she had begun to flee yet the faceless urged her to stay.
Feeling that the rebels could potentially...

Reliving a memory from your face's past, you awake with a start in the late evening of the day. You awaken with your heart racing fast and a cold sweat despite the cloak of the Ursarinn you wear. Some of the Guisi are eating, enjoying a dinner around Valce's newly pacted fire, you still hear the sounds of heavy arrows striking wood like an ax from Odette's trial.
Rubbing your face, you realize that you've a newly found sense of loss and loneliness from the memory...

As you walk over, the white-haired woman's still got her horns out, curling back long and underneath her ears before flowing forward and accentuating her ebon beauty. Her eyes have turned a dark blood red as she unleashes one powerful arrow after another. Her black bow has grown more savage in appearance, sweeping back and bearing a complex latticework of tendons to create something of a facsimile of a compound bow. You can only imagine the strength that Odette must have to keep pulling it into full draw...

We're all anonymous here, what's the worst character you've ever RP'd and regretted? We've all got something to regret.
My first character was a chaotic neutral drow monk in 3.X, who I wanted to make be survival of the fittest in mind, but he was chaotic randumb in practice.
Dwarven cleric of CN god of war. He wasn't too bad, but he wanted to solve everything with violence and executed anyone who surrendered for being cowards. Had a greatsword named "Sasha" that he ripped off a dead soldier's corpse before the game started.
The game was abandoned after the second session, so the group was spared his idiocy.
>>43746069
Literally half of them.
Played an Aasimar who was from Mirrodin because I really wanted to play an Aasimar. It went about as well as you'd expect, when three sessions later the game dissolved into a new campaign.
>>43746282
That doesn't sound too bad, besides the executing bit.
>>43746338
Woof, now that sounds weird. Why were you on mirrodin?
Continuing from >>43707780
nice. Was gonna make a thread, but nonetheless I gotta ask
Does Graham only give damage & accuracy boosts to Sorrows and White Legs or can he benefit any non-Legion allies?
Version 1.11
Second Scenario is in the works.
Some non-local Feedback on the first Scenario would be appreciated.
As of now I don't have enough playtest for it.
Also BoS will be fuckin insane

Would you object to a setting that, instead of using horses, uses an animal like a flightless bird or dinosaur but still calls them "horses"?
>>43745850
Absolutely not.
Would you object to a setting that, instead of dogs, uses an animal like a flightless bird or dinosaur but still calls them "dogs"?
>>43745850
I would object to any setting that calls by a blatantly wrong name for no good reason. Call them a steed, if you want.
