Hey /tg/ my character is being hunted by my paladin brother in game. I killed our parents as part of a ritual to gain cool warlock powers. When we meet I just knock him unconcious and frame him for various crimes or just take all his shit and hang him from a flagpole.
So far I have:
Killed some hookers and left him naked in the room with them
Killed every guard in the jail and locked him in a cell
Buried him alive
Hung him from a flag pole.
I don't want to kill him because I am having a lot of fun. Any ideas on how I can drive hum insane?
He's going to kill you.
>>43897726
Kek him
Bury him with your dead parents
Fuck his god
Sell all his stuff
Wedgie
Recreate the events of any Seth Rogan film
Pull an MGSV and make him think he's you, and you are him.
There are some Ideas, I hope you get some better.
>>43898011
There is a modify memory spell and I was going to make him think he killed our parents.
So what kind of sleeves do you use, /tg/?
>>43897382
Shirt ones.
>>43897382
Ones that are opaque on both sides.
KMC Hyper Mattes four outer sleeving and KMC tight fit whatevers for inner sleeves
What system should I use to basically play Kung Fury?waifu unrelated
I normally post a bunch of elaborate descriptions of games I made up if I get into these threads first but it's Feng Shui, that is the answer.
>>43897370
Savage Worlds.
>>43897409
Just looked it up. That sounds about right.
>>43897433
Obviously any generic system would work. I was curious if there was anything tailored to that over-the-top parody-80s aesthetic.

Last time on Heritage Ship Quest, our bold captain Solomon the Ceph discovered a love for Corvid techno, dusted off his old plasma shotgun, and found out his new engineer is a little racist. But who isn’t?
Later, he spent some quality beer time with Deg, where we learned a little bit about the history of the Hot Needle. Our current destination is the far flung system of Kerls, on the edge of some dicey space centred on the backwater of Freerock.
The...

Cockpit door already ajar, Deg sits in the pilot’s seat with his feet up, one hand clutching a cup of coffee and the other one of his strange Felinid “cigarettes.”
“Good morning cap, get enough beauty rest? Man knows you need it.”
You huff in his general direction, making your way towards the minifridge,
“I really need to disconnect the intercom, maybe then I can get some decent sleep.”
You sit down next to him, cracking the eye-wateringly coloured can of Instanergy.
“Is that it?” you gesture out of the viewport towards the...

Age: 734
Location: Unknown Planet
Information: With rule over Planet Afhan secure, Daikon sent his team out into space in order to locate a planet worth conquering. Azu and Soko reported worlds that sounded promising, but communication with Sabi was lost. Travelling to Sabi's last known location, Daikon's ship was shot down, crash-landing on an unknown world. After a brief but intense skirmish with some machines, Daikon and the others have fled into the nearby forest, and now begin their search for Sabi.

Welcome to Saiyan Quest. This takes place shortly after the war against the Tuffles, as the Saiyans look for more foes to battle in the absence of their old enemies.
Voting will operate on a first to five system, at least for the time being.
Dialogue is allowed to be added to votes, as are actions (though I'll ignore what I consider shitposting)
During battles, options will usually have a number assigned to them. After that vote has won, players will roll a d100, and have three chances to match or beat that number.
If a 100 is rolled, it is...

Your scouter gives you a basic idea of what's around for several miles.
Some sort of city is not too far off, and according to your scouter, the average power level there is in the low hundreds. However, you also detect a few power levels over 1000 in the city, which is enough to make you consider your options.
Farther away, you detect an isolated group of power levels ranging from 100 to over a thousand. Perhaps it's some sort of outpost.
"Well, doesn't look like anything's coming for us just yet," Rugula comments. "Betting...

Time to meet some Samurai, ah yeah.
After your first sleep in a month that wasn't done sitting on a flower, you wake up feeling quite refreshed. You get up and make one last check over all your gear, then head downstairs for breakfast. Your uncle already has a spread ready for you while he digs in, himself. You sit down and start eating as he makes some conversation.
"Back for a day, then gone again. What a schedule they've got you on." your uncle sighs. "But it just goes to show how important you've become, eh? Land of Iron is a bit of a ways away. You'll probably be...

How do you play a somewhat dim character, /tg/?
I'm not talking "giggling at mushrooms and talking like the Hulk" stupid, but just a little dimmer or not as analytical. I always find myself breaking character because I tend to overthink and plan out what I do, but I sometimes find DMs that wonder if that's really in character for who I'm playing.
I'm playing a 'dim but wise' druid soon and I want to get it right.

Very straightfoward.
The kind of guy who goes to art exhibits to appreciate pretty or well crafted art instead of art with deep meaning.
His plans aren't always well thought out, and details aren't given the greatest attention.
You are an alchemist, there is no magic in the setting, what can you use as weapon? what "potion" can you make? what deadly little flasks you would carry?
>no magic
Well then.
>what can you use as weapon?
A crossbow
>what "potion" can you make?
Powerful painkiller
>what deadly little flasks you would carry?
A extremely powerful disinfectant, several vials of reactive substances, a powerful acid, and plenty of narcotics

All you're asking is how an aggressive chemist could fuck somebody up, and the answer is everything from flamethrowers to contact explosives to aerosol poisons.
Chlorine Triflouride.
Sets fire to stone even whilst underwater.
The water, incidentally, will be exploding.
What's the greater restriction on a skill cap - time available, or biology?
Depends on the setting.

R34 of 20 years old?
>>43896293
Both vary, depending on the skill and methods of instruction.
There are so many variables even when selecting individual skills that this thread is essentially incapable of reaching a satisfactory conclusion.
If a vampire drinks only the blood of sedated criminals sentenced to death by a LG state, why is he evil?
Depends on the setting, OP.

Because he's an abomination which exists for the sole purpose of preying on sapient beings.
Being an animal which preys on a man because he is convenient prey is one thing. A beast designed specifically for that purpose is anathema of all things related to human self-preservation, one of the keystones upon which the tower of human morality stands.
>>43896012
Is he acting on authority of the state or not?
Which has the better technology and weapons, the Ratchet and Clank setting or the Star Wars setting?
>>43895746
They have time machines in R&C and can instantly turn an entire planet into robots, so I guess maybe R&C? But why are you asking this on TG?
>>43895807
Because /tg/ is pretty much a debate club, and they fucking love Star Wars.
Besides, I've seen more out of place threads here anyway.
>>43895807
>TG
>not /tg/
Okay then. ITT we discuss how to go about running a R&C campaign, starting with the level of technology. For the sake of comparison, let's pick the Star Wars universe as the baseline.
So what is /tg/ opinion on rolling dice vs drawing cards in rpgs?
>>43895715
Card drawing has some incredibly complex numbers associated with it, and dealshehwith shit that dice just doesn't, like shuffling and card counting and discard piles and whatnot.
So balancing it is an order of magnitude harder than dice. Not to mention dropping a deck of cards blows.
>>43895779
True but I think there's a nice element of the derminalism of drawing from a deck of cards rather than the truly random roll the die. Plus if you drop a card you're not gonna have it land in your shoe.

What does /tg/ think of Numenera?
Started a new campaign last week. Have 3 dungeons ready to go depending what hooks the party picks up.

We have threads about twice a week, general consensus is that it's good but doesn't advertise enough to build a big fanbase.
