Can you be married to a pagan Goddess and be a servant and true follower of Christ? How would you explain it to your family? Pic sort related?
Hypocrisy and bending things to suit your needs regardless of whether it makes sense or not is practically a universal trait of any REAL religion.
So yes, you could do it. It wouldn't even be hard to justify, just make up some imaginary reason why the imaginary rules don't apply anymore.>Tips fedora

What you could do is say, and attempt to either convert her or turn her into a servant adherent to the Lord. Failing that, you could say that by making her your wife, you are effectively pinning her down and preventing her from her foul pagan practices and spreading the pagan faith. Basically containment.
Either way, you are pacifying and conquering her through marriage and faith (though I'm not sure it could be a proper "marriage" since it wouldn't be fit in the eyes of God). Or with your dick, though that would be frowned upon.
Let's talk about alignment, specifically the 3x3 alignment system used by DnD and many other popular systems.
Being a human person, I know a lot of other human persons. I like playing a little game with myself and my TTRPG savvy friends in which we assign the most fitting alignment to people we know. Most of them are Good. Some are Neutral. Only a very few (whom I actively avoid) are Evil. I've also found that people tend to lean towards the Lawful end of the Lawful-Neutral-Chaotic axis. And I don't think I've ever met anyone who was Chaotic Good,...

This thread is aligned Lawful Suck.
I usually describe it to new players as Good/Evil = Selfless/Selfish and Law/Chaos = Honorable/Dishonorable. It seems to get the idea across pretty clearly.
Good and evil are the ends, law and chaos are the means by which you achieve those ends.
>>43918392
Alignments are fucking retarded. You can't boil all the complexities of human behavior down into a nice 3x3 grid and expect it to actually work in any kind of way that isn't going to reveal how poorly designed and autismal your system is.
4/10 because I'm pretty sure this was bait to begin with.
Would it be autistic to write a fictional holy scripture for a culture in your setting? Where would you begin?
I've finished the Bhagavad Gita and now I'm getting back into the New Testament.
I think it'd be awesome to have paladins and clerics quoting their religious texts in battle.

Personally, I'd start with a base concept; you CAN frame it from a contemporary religious perspective, but most people, in today's world, would sniff out the religion in question pretty quick and then you're drowning in either Religion-fags or Atheist-fags.
But that's besides the point. Start from a point of philosophical interest: did the GOD create the world, or did the WORLD (in a manner of speaking) create the god? The former is useful for omnipotent gods, the latter, for limited ones.

How does /tg/ feel about mutations?
This may make me sound like a special snowflake but personally I get pretty uncomfortable thinking about my character growing extra body parts, or losing them, or having some other strange mutation. If you step into the mindset of more old school games where characters are more expendable, I can see it happening a lot easier.
But seriously; how do you handle mutations? How often do they come up in your games? Do you think they are an annoyance, a horrible thing, or more funny/dynamic roleplaying opportunities instead?
>>43918207
I agree, I guess. That's over of the harder parts of playing Black Crusade or other games - I just don't like most of the mutations and I would rather get something nicer or not be mutated at all than be blessed with a third arm or some animal bits.
Also I sort of fucked up on the OP, I meant mutations as in mutations you get from events that happens, not necessarily being born with them.
Like get hit with certain magic or touch the shrine of a chaos god; get a mutation. Maybe rolling on a mutation table.

I've had experiences with it from dark heresy. It really varies game to game since the vague ones can royally screw the players (i.e. the obsession one in dark heresy, make it for dirt since hive worlds have none), can be fun, might not be since developing an extra limb all of a sudden should effect RP potentially killing the PC. If it's a damning effect, I've offered rerolls especially when it's super early game. So case by case basis I guess
These fuckers attack the Federation of Planets (star trek). How does Starfleet and their allies fair? Assume Next Generation time period.

Had a couple questions for my anons of the 41st Millennium.
First can a Baneblade take embarked units?
If so can an Enginseer start the game embarked on it?
And then some discussion on the new Tau book. The super heavy support company says to select 1 super heavy but the table says to select 3. Was wondering if anyone could clarify

As a Chaos player, i've been a little annoyed how underpowered we are at the moment, when you consider that most of our best firepower comes from Forgeworld, and most people won't let you run FW unique stuff outside of 30k games.
So, I pose you the important question, /tg/.
How do you fix the underpowered Codeces without breaking them? I mean stuff like Dark Eldar, Chaos, Orks, Blood Angels, etc.Diomedededes is always relevant
>>43916536
For Orks, it's easy. Bring back Looted Vehicles and give Choppa's a weaker rending, like, 6's To Wound are resolved at AP-3
I've said it loads of times exactly how to make them runable:
1) Bring back Mark of Undivided (only make it something like "All units gain ATSKNF, all units with ATSKNF, Fearless and Zealot instead gain +1 leadership" but make it standard on all units, with the mono-marks being an upgrade. Also, the Undivided mark removes any mono-god restrictions (E.G. a Sorcerer of Undivided would be able to take the Nurgle Discipline, but ride a Disk of Tzeench.)
2) decrease the points for the Mono-god marines, making their costs multiples of their gods number (E.G....

>You and your ship are drawn into the body of a creature the size of a Solar System
>>43916428
I point out to the GM that such a creature grossly violates the laws of reality, and unless he rectifies this mistake into something more realistic, I'll let everyone at the game store know he's an awful unrealistic GM, and leave to take my business elsewhere.

If you didn't want to see the laws of reality you so hold dear be grossly violated you maybe should stay away from cosmic horror games, since that's what this scenario sounds like.

You were just winding down from all the death that just ensued, and then Marrius gets killed and zombies attack.
Sure, they were really weak and nobody was hurt by them, but... In the aftermath, those guys got away with the Galeforce axe.
After another few moments of muttering, Sheena just... Passes out on the spot, much to the concern of her pegasus.
It's clear that nobody is particularly in the mood to do much. Finally, putting away her flask, Une is the first to actually try to take charge of the situation. "Alright, I didn't know our boss,...

I'm roadblocked to hell and back and now I'm at the point where I'm overthinking things. I'm running a Traveller game and I need a soft/hard science type of space travel that's faster than Jumping.
If you have a roadblock post here.
