books relating to magic, it's use and limitations
as well as documented under-kin ruins
>>44153246
You find hundreds of books on the matter of Magic and its use. Magic is limited only by ones imagination, and power. You are going to have to be more specific.
As for Under Kin documents, you find several major ruins in the South, west of Kelvin on a small Island. The Island is currently under control of the Imperial Government.
maybe we can try this later tonight, ay?

>"Canon" had already taken a sharp turn from the "norm" when you began, and through your actions, choices, and dialogue, took even further turns from the "norm," and will probably continue to do so

Your opponent cracks her knuckles, a confident smirk on her face as she takes her stance. "Hope you're ready." She then bolts at you, throwing a hard punch directed at your face. You easily manage to block it; it's clear she's just going for a warm-up at this point. You counter with a palm strike directed at her jaw, her free hand blocking it. She then attempts to follow through with a knee strike to your gut, your attempted palm strike flowing...

If I am not mistaken Artificial Humans don't have energy to waste correct? I feel like we have to do this fast/not make this an attrition fight.
You are Jason Fisher, 4th grader and best friend of a three-headed dog monster named Oscar. You and your father have recently moved from your small hometown in Virgina to Greensville, a modest sized city in northern Ohio. You have been enrolled in Lakeside Elementary School, and are still trying to adjust to the change.
On your first day at your new school, you made a new friend. Tyler, a reserved kid who tends to get picked on by some of your classmates, became your friend after you got in a food fight with the kids that pick on him. Though you got sent to the principal's...

Howdy. I was worried about being too late but I guess that wasnt a problem? how have you been?
IIRC we left with them going to check for the stolen stuff, right? I cant remember if they were going to prioritize the arrest or recovering the stuff, though

Good as always
Arrest first then question him about where he sold the stuff at.
Post your shameful characters in this no-judging environment.

I think that sounds fucking awesome actually.
My most shameful character was a human cleric, it just happened to be my first character who I mary-sued the fuck out of.
It's not about what you play, but how you play that makes it shameful.

Whether it's a chapter or a legion or a traitor warband or anything else. Which collective group has had the worst luck of them all?
The Lamenters, that is their entire thing

This, how was this an actual question? Their defining feature is that they have bad luck
Just finished reading.
>The Imperial Fists are wiped out

Hahahahahahahaha.
Sons of Dorn confirmed shit.
And this is new news how?
>>44150347
This.
It's been hinted time and again that First Founding chapters have been wiped out and then replaced. Politically and spiritually, the First Founding chapters are too important to be permanently wiped out.

No it's not.
Do liches automatically become skeletons or can they remain looking like they normally do?
its for science
>>44149141
being dead tends to lend itself to skeltization, i don't think it's normally "automatic" in the sense that it happens instantaneously though. Unless it's like, a WormThatWalks in which case it sorta is by necessity but that'd make the lich the worms not the skeleton they leave behind. Unless you then animate the skeleton. I think I want a WormThatWalks with his own animated skeleton as his personal attendant.
>>44149167
So it's impossible to look human as a lich without any spells or items then?
Liches are immortal undead. To become a lich, your body dies and you become a skeleton.
So, nWoD is now Chronicles of Darkness.
http://theonyxpath.com/announcing-chronicles-of-darkness/
There's a ton to discuss. Name change for nWoD, oWoD is coming back in full force, and Dreaming is kickstarted great. But what should we do with these threads? We've split oWoD and nWoD before, but that never really works, and there are plenty of fans of both. We even end up talking about Storypath and Pugmire and Cavaliers of Mars sometimes. Hell, we often become OPP-but-not-Exalted-general.
Also, like... all of my IRC groups and these thread starter...

>They're tied with Earthbound, Ferrymen andLasombra, because while edgy it feels... less tryhard than other clans, it's hard to explain, for me. Not sure what that says about me.
Lasombra are fine. Ventrue are not because their players invariably portray them terribly.
>>44148251
Our Ventrue is a pretty swell guy. He's all about responsibility and duty and such, and he hasn't talked any shit about my clan in months, not since we got to know one another. He's the only other player character with a clan or NPC associates that give a damn besides the Italian-American (whom we despise, of course.)
Does anyone here think that "Chronicles of Darkness" sounds like the subtitle to a spinoff of a JRPG series?
Say:
>"Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles: Chronicles of Darkness"
>"Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Chronicles of Darkness"
>"Disgaea 5: Chronicles of Darkness"
>"Tales of Symphonia 3: Chronicles of Darkness"
Real question, why doesn't WotC just release or sell individual reprints of every card with specific "non-legal" borders? It would solve the problem for anyone wanting to play kitchen top and don't mind the border, but would also be easily identifiable to players in a tournament as to protect their investment. I don't think the kitchen top market is looking to ever spend any money on getting older/more expensive cards in the first place because of this and if WotC would just sell them they'd make more money. But would this kill the goose that lays...

One problem I see with that is that demand would far exceed supply on WoTC's end and prices would go up. Like Goyf.
>>44148370
>increasing the supply would increase demand
Are you legit stupid
>>44147670
They did that before with a full set of gold bordered cards: http://mtgsalvation.gamepedia.com/Collectors'_Edition
Guessing it wouldn't sell well because you can't us the cards in real tournaments. And the kitchen table market already have what they need in regular sets and the commander products.

Any good Witch homebrews out yet? Or perhaps a Wicca-flavoured (shut up I know Neo-paganism has just about nothing to do with old European beliefs) Warlock?
Kenkus forever, motherfuckers.
Need advice!
I need good reasons/events that would make me want to multiclass my Nature Paladin with Great Old One Warlock.
Please help I really wanna try multiclassing it but need an excuse to.

Do things like weapons and armor really matter for Exalted in this setting? I see a lot of characters being posted in these threads that use anime-girl-with-dress-armor type art.
What's to stop me from playing pic related because he thinks it looks good? Is it actually helpful to him?

Why do I love Leman Russ so much? It's pretty simple when I think about it. Leman Russ isn't just the best warrior in the crusade, he might just be the greatest warrior of all time. Just imaging him slaying Xenos in space, the wind in his hair, his mighty frost blade before him. As he slays the enemies of man over the filed, the ladies swoon at his very scent. They know how he smells, the essence of his smell is sold under the the name of "Fenresian Orgasm." The very nature of Leman Russ is a mystery. could he be playing a deeper game than even his players and creators realize? The answer is yes, he has transcended such boundaries as the table top and lore, and has free will to do whatever he sees fit. However, Leman Russ is filled with such guile, such arcane craft that he does not use these powers. Why, you might ask? You will never know, for the mind of Leman Russ is not one that is easily penetrated. Leman Russ is such a force of nature in his realm that nothing can truly touch him, the only thing keeping him bound to his realm at all is his will to exist within the preordained boundaries of his universe. Leman Russ is not only beyond the comprehension of us, he exists within a plane of true focus and beauty. Observe his playful smile, his gorgeous and rippling biceps, his gallant nose, and most importantly, his eyes. His eyes, like pools of saffron, provide the only glimpse into the true machinations of Leman Russ. Do not stare into them. Many good men have gone mad in the attempt. Leman Russ is not just a Primarch, a formless collection of kills and conquests, he is himself is the binding that holds the universe of 40k together. Without Leman Russ, the entire imperium, the entire empire of man as we know it crumbles. The Cadian Gate would fall without Leman Russ, the Jericho Reach would become a desolate crater without his frosty gaze. These are just of a few of the reasons why I like Leman Russ so much.
