I'm going to be running a campaign with heavy fey presence. Give me your fey art and fey encounter ideas.

>It's getting cold, isn't it?
The winter court is incipient; their huntsmen are already seeking the tracks into this world.
But their prey is a clever one; they seek to cause winter to come early, to take them on when the first frosts drown the harvest.
Can you slow winter so the world does not stop?
>Players come across pic related. The girl asks them to join her for a drink. The brick circle and table expand and new chairs appear to accomodate however many step forward to join her. Those who drink roll on http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/Grog_of_Susbtantial_Whimsy_%283.5e_Equipment%29
>Brownies sneak into the party's camp shortly before dawn, cook them a hearty breakfast.
>A few leprechauns are found in a heated argument, and ask the party to mediate. The argument turns out to be over who has the best beard.
>Party comes to a clearing with a school of fish swimming about in midair. The fish apparently can only survive in that one region of air in the middle of the clearing, as though there were an invisible, intangible floating pond there. If removed from that area, they flop about like any other fish out of water.
>A group of absolutely shitfaced druids offers to share some of their special moonshine.
>A group of sprites need a few more players to round out teams for a game of <insert sport of choice>, shrink party members to their size so they can fill in. Game goes awry when a bobcat (or fox, or whatever ordinarily small and generally harmless-to-humans predator you like) takes interest in the gathering of tasty-looking morsels.
>A group of sprites passes by in a royal procession, proclaiming "Make way for the Frog King!" At the tail end of the procession there is a group of sprites carrying a frog decked out in crown and fancy robe on a lavish palanquin. It turns out to be a perfectly ordinary frog that they decided to dress up. The sprites become angry if the party does not show proper respect to the king.
>A group of dim but well-meaning sprites thinks the party could use a rest from their travels, decides to help them out by singing them to sleep and removing their armor so they can have a nice nap. Party is awoken, unarmored and covered in neatly-arranged flowers, by a hungry bear or some such.
>The party encounters a gang of pixies harassing a very distressed-looking half-fey ogre, picking on him for being big, dumb, clumsy, ugly, etc. Will the party intervene to save the poor oaf from these pint-sized bullies?
>A group of pixies have acquired a small skiff, refitted it into a pixie-sized pirate ship, and enchanted it to fly. "Avast, ye landlubbers! Surrender yer booty ta th' Dread Pirate Pinkbeard, Scourge o' th' Skies!"
>Fey magic has distorted...

Hi /tg/, there are a lot of really good looking Warhammer video games coming out soon and lately I've been playing a lot of Vermintide. But the thing is, I don't know the first thing about Warhammer.
I live in a small town with nowhere to buy tabletop games stuff nearby, nor do I have any friends that are into that stuff. So I never had the chance to get into Warhammer the proper way.
I figure you guys would be the best to ask, so here goes. What's the best way to get into Warhammer outside of playing the tabletop games? Any books that serve as a good primer for the lore? Specifically 40k since that seems to be what 90% of the vidya are based on.

>there are a lot of really good looking Warhammer video games coming out soon
there are?
>>44210153
Total war
Battlefleet
Some eisenhorn thing
Eternal Crusade is a thing(?)
Rodentwave
Mordheim
>>44210153
To me at least, Total Warhammer, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada and Eternal Crusade look great. I've been enjoying Mordheim and Vermintide.
There are a lot of Warhammer video games coming out that interest me very much.
>party has been playing for 2 years.
>they had just saved the daughteru awakened evil goddess at the cost of the character who adopted them in the first place.
>In-game, the character turns into a god and loses her memory as well as her loved ones forgetting who she was as well.
>After that, the party without a reason to why they were together in the place, goes their separate ways. This plays as I describe the fate of every npc they recruited, fire emblem...

If appropriate, Yakety Sax is almost a tradition in my group.
EXEC_EP=NOVA is pretty much the ultimate in silly fight sons.
>>44209977
My GM's been using https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9lVvp9DxEg recently whenever he wants to convey a sense of ADVENTURE! to the party.
Which is all the time.
I like my GM.
Some anons gifted me some stuff. I wonder what it could be???
Those packages look pretty small. I wonder what kind of sex toy could be in them.
>>44209712
Less wonder, more dildos. Get on it.
I'll tell you in a bit.
How can someone make original models from scratch i.e. not building them from other parts?
What's the process?
I'm curious about making little plastic space ships. Or pewter, maybe.
>>44208935
Well, you can always sculpt the model you want with clay or something like that and then make a mold out of that.
I´m not entirely sure of the process, you can try googling it or something. Good luck.
>>44208935
>I'm curious about making little plastic space ships. Or pewter, maybe.
You draw the design, turn that drawing into a scale plan you can use and then sculpt it from any combination of wood, metal, plastic, epoxy clay, paper or digital data you are comfortable with.
That prototype is then used as a master for a mould, into which pewter or resin is poured.
Build a design on a CAD program and send/take that design to a 3D print on demand service.
Please help.
I'm without my DnD 3.5 books and suddenly the people here want me to DM. Where's a good place to view or download the books? What's the best wiki to use?
http://chet.kindredcircle.org/ + d20srd.org.

>I'm without my DnD 3.5 books
That's good
>suddenly the people here want me to DM
Do them a favor and download the 5e basic rules from the WOTC site
How would you play a character(s) that is a conjoined twin? Like pic.
>>44208381
As a singular character but extra chat. Conjoined twins like those where the mobility is dependent on both actually tend to form some sort of bond that allows them to either know exactly what each other wants or to react to what the other wants without exchanged words.

Social Stigma (Monster) [-15]
Roll 1d6 on headshot, 1-3 hits the right head, 4-6 hits the left head.
Jesus christ TG I just checked out /his/, since I seem to always see people here moaning about a lack of a historical board to chat on.
It is nothing but spergs politicising the past and worst of all,
the memes aren't even that good.
Pic unrelated
That's because most of the history fags haven't actually left /tg/ yet.
>>44208153
/his/ is pompous leftist Humanities students with shitty nutjob (and lacking proof) theories versus autistic rightwing STEM graduates with old fashioned (and lacking proof) theories
God, I'm reading a book right now that is like the epitome of /his/ called How the West Won.
It's hilarious how much this guy hates Muslims.
/tg/ I fucked up.
I'm supposed to run a game in an hour but I had completely forgotten about it and I have absolutely nothing prepared.
Lay on me ALL the plots, hooks and shit that you can think of.
The Captain has been possessed by a parasitic entity that looks exactly like a paper plate with a face drawn in ketchup and mustard.
He's obsessed with teleportation and teleportation-based technology, so it can find a way to transport itself home and/or open a wormhole for the rest of it's condiment-faced people can invade.
Give me the game setting, so I can properly fill your body with hooks.
>>44208083
That pic is from the Groundhog Day episode, I think. What a great episode.
It is a day of disappointment for me, /tg/,
>Know this guy, bachelor of science in chemistry, supposed to have epic knowledge of the rules, have asked him several times over the years on rule clarifications, played in his campaigns, etc
>Be a few years in the hobby
>Last session guy fails in the rules field like four times
>Want to discuss his failings
>Present all the PHB/DMG material quotes, threads from different...

I don't know what to say, OP. The fact that BOTH of you are so asswhipped about what the rules are makes me question what part of this you find fun.
>>44207730
Well here's the thing: Systems are made to be balanced. They are not be made to be even further torn apart by on-the-fly solutions. You can homebrew after you have played the system for a year, after you know it in and out. But not when just starting as in our case.
>>44207770
>Systems are made to be balanced.
It's like the only system you are vaguely familiar with is 4th edition D&D.
>DM a nice group of 5 people - 3 guys and 2 girls
>One of the girls (rolled a dragonborn paladin) was calling me to hang out
>Assuming shes dragging people from the party with her I show up to see her alone in the coffee place
>We never spoke outside of our sessions, so I thought she might want to simply chat up to bond further and expand her social circle or whatever women call their group of friends
>I'm down for that.Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

Unfortunately the cancer is terminal, I'm afraid.
>>44207401
Try going on as usual? You've told her you're not interested, so move on with your life.
>>44207401
>Gosick
My nigga.
In seriousness as long as you both act like adults you should be fine, she'll move on and you'll find a solid 6/10 to pump and dump with 0 consequences later.
Hey /tg/ with the increase in these types of games both here and abroad (other chans and such) I'd like to compile a resource resource as it were.
Would you help me compile a list of cool resources? Also discussion of how these are handled
Obvious examples include
>wood
>iron
>gold
To the more Exotic
>Mithral
>Jade
>Coral
What can we come up with?
I am willing to attempt to make resource icons of everything we come up with, I have already stolen all the icons from civ 5
I will share it when done
>Mithral
>a
pls
>>44207076
That's how it's spelled in pathfinder lol

Almost everything looks cool, but fuck me if that ramming is not horrible when the ship doesn't explode. It just...bounces off the hull of the ramming one.
>>44206947
The star fort is amazing though.
Did he just say "micro cannons"?
>>44207032
Yepp, pretty sure he did.
Hey, has anyone played the Mistborn RPG system? I've gone off the deep end on this cosmere shit and I'm interested in the game.
Thoughts?
>>44206469
>Thoughts?
SPELLBOUND NEVER FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFfffffffffffffffffffffff-
All I've ever heard is that it's mediocre to bad. Not any specifics though, so I'm afraid not hugely helpful.
>>44206507
People say that and I've read through it and it just looks like storyteller. I'm interested where the bad comes in.
