You bite your lip, appraising the garment--blood is soaked deep into the silk of this sash, but of all the clothing that's come in all season it's the most valuable if it could only be salvaged. You start thinking of ways to cut free the irreparably tainted and tattered elements, turning it into a short scarf or bandanna. It's no use, however; you push your hands down into the soapy bucket again and again, but this blood is more persistent than usual.
Sighing, your gaze turns up from where you sit at the wash basket to the loot room at large. There were...

“Uh huh.” Vyx says. “You have any ideas as to how we're going to lure him out? He practically controls the weather in here.”
"Certainly doesn't seem like time is an issue for his type." Dorian adds. "I imagine he'd be perfectly content with our deliberation no matter the outcome."
"So, what, then?" Donnel asks.

I would like to know more about it, like how is it, what can you do in it, is it easy or hard and such.
Anyone?

It's a cyberpunk setting with the standard tropes of mercs-for-hire, hackers, androids, megacorporations, etc.
It has medium crunch, lots of character options and comes with a pretty decent cyberpunk world in which the US broke up into statelets and China is very powerful but at war with Russia.

How tacticool is your character or party, /tg/?

A planetary defense battery with a full complement of atomics. That frigate never saw it coming.
Let's actually make something edition.
OK GURPSfags, it's time for the regular /gg/ thread, but this time I think we should set ourselves a little project. Let's try writing a mini-supplement for GURPS.
First things first; what is it going to be about?
Probably best to go for a catalogue approach, so that we can contribute one entry at a time. Some ideas: vehicles, modern NPC templates (like the modern version of Historical Folks), animal templates (although GURPS Animalia and the various fan-made bestiaries arguably already do an OK job),...

Thanks, anon.
The issue with adventures is that they don't seem well suited to being written as a group effort. I guess we could possibly agree on a general story arc and each write a short encounter or something?
>>44201982
Encounters then. Set-piece scenes that can be dropped into existing adventures. Make them generic and with notes on what would have to change to fit them into other genres.
Sup /tg/? Just have a quick question for ya.
I'm currently in a situation with my RPG group. We're playing a D20 system set in the Mass Effect universe and only three of us our currently playing including the DM. Usually our campaigns have one or two extra people but I digress. The DM decided to bring in one of our friends to sit in on an upcoming session. Simple shit, but he did it without asking the group first. I personally don't mind, I might have a little more trouble roleplaying any potentially dramatic situations but no harm really done. The other player however is in a tizzy over it to the point of outright not looking forward to the session. He's relatively new to tabletops and still feels self-conscious about rolepaly, but it's been a few months and he's getting better. With the addition of the sit in he's suddenly in fear he won't roleplay at all, and we all know putting yourself in that mindset pretty much guarantees it. So now there's just a lot of undue drama and a general bad feeling surrounding the upcoming session. What I want to know is who's to blame? Is it the GM for the unexpected sit on? The player for not nutting up? Both? I feel like at the very least we could learn from this experience but I want to know what it is we should learn.
>>44308900
It's your fault, anon. Friends don't let their friends get stressed out. Take him into the closet and stroke him off until he's perpetually elated.
>>44309011
Well he would like that.
>>44308900
>uses a Hetza tactical waifu pic
I like the cut of your jib, OP.
As for your question, is the sit-in a potential new player? I've done that a couple times if I want to get a feel for the other players' characters so I can build one that fits in the group and doesn't step on any toes.
So my setting has 3 villains that has already taken over and is now leading the world, one having done this through religious appeal, one through mind control, and the last through mad science.
However, I want to make sure that the party knows that they are not the great heroes of the land and can not get the rulers out of power.
How do I go about this without outright telling them they can't defeat the nasty men?
You don't tell them they can't outright. Every time they mention it? Have an NPC report them to the cops and deal with it that way. They no longer are worried about the evil power so much as sheriff cletus and his murderous deputies trying to kill the PCs.
What exactly do you want the group do?
>>44305614
Haven't really decided yet, but I do know the theme will be "ordinary people roped into a bad situation" so there's that. You know shit like being drafted into a war. Don't got the specifics yet tho.
THE SHADOW?
THE SHADOW?!
Bane?
His Divine Shadow, yes.
Is your adventuring party badass enough to save theRussian economy? How would they do it?
They are not, they can't even kill an Ancient Dragon, and we are talking about saving one of the most fucke up economic systems in the world.
I thought Russia's economy didn't need immigrants.
SMITE AND CLEAVE!
So now the PDF has everything you need to build four different inquisitors, twelve acolytes, three death cult assassins, three crusaders, three jokearo weaponsmiths, three priests, three psychers and four servitors as well as a Chimera with heavy bolters.

Sisters of Battle. I still need to add the Repentia and a penitent engine as well as a page for a Cannonness and all her weapons options
>A powerful ayylien artifact can turn matter into energy and energy into matter.
How useful would this be?
>>44303165
Depends on the setting, system, and how efficiently it can do so.
So the thing is basically an internal component of an alien power generator? Super useful.
>>44303165
Matter into energy: Extremely useful, depending on what kind of matter and what form of energy. Applications are unlimited, or rather only limited by the fact that you have only one device.
Energy into matter: Vastly less useful, since the amount of energy in any significant amount of matter is too much to store. If it can do both functions at the same time and turn matter into different matter with the same mass, then it could be very useful.
But right after large magical realm
