whats a good system to play star wars other than gurps
Hello /tg/, what, in your opinion, is the least gimmicky space marine chapter?
Also if you play 40k, what space marines are the best to model/paint?
Also poll. https://strawpoll.me/6417205
What would be more iconic to someone who could be called a "Hope Bringer"
A Two Handed Sword and large Gauntlet for defense?
or a Sword and Shield?
Just how powerful are Eldar/DEldar compared to humans in 40k?
How might you stat the races of Ivalice? Particularly as PCs.
Any system you feel comfortable with, although ideally Pathfinder and the 40kRPGs.
I thought ivalice only had humans and everything else were monsters?
As I recall the codex entry for moogles even says they have been extinct for quite some time.
Different races appear in different eras. The viera, for example, are mostly closed off from the outside world and hide in great forests, but in some eras there are young females who leave their wardens as explorers or mercenaries before they go back to settle down. The bangaa are a populous race in FFTA but appear less and less in subsequent games of that era and canonically die off shortly after the events of FFTA2.
Heartless in Warhammer 40k.
I'll probably lose but here goes...
I play a seachrome coast, tap it and summon a Kraken Hatchling.
Sup /tg, TFA has me wanting to run a Star Wars game again. I'm familiar with the d20 Star Wars rpg, but is there a better system? I remember Edge of the Empire/Age of Rebellion came out a little while back, how were they? What about Saga edition?
Also, is there a good way to run a game where the Force is actual plot armor without it sucking the fun out of everything?
/tg/ I come from the future where it's already 2016.
The world did not exploded yet but I bring you the first larp thread of this year.
I've updated the derpy papercraft Sisters of Battle PDF to include an upgrade page to make the Rhino into an Exorcist, a Penitent Engine and a heavy weapons squad.
Here's the inquisition, which shares several models with the Sisters of Battle (Crusaders, Death Cult Assassins and Priests)
>That one player who is a cunt to you if you forgot one small thing or leave out a small detail and even gives you shit when you have a headache.
>Asking him to leave makes him have a fit and ruins the whole game because he trys to drag along his other friends away from my game.
>Keeps showing up even after i tell him i want him out of the game but he insists on having better behavior
What should i do /tg/?
Should i give him another chance?
I'm playing an Age of Rebellion game and need some creative ideas for a job someone could have in the Star Wars universe that DO NOT INVOLVE BOUNTY HUNTING.
How do you go from this. . .
How do I make a state/empire seem incompetent without them being ridiculously so? Pic related.
Strong bureaucracy that can't do its job. You need to get written permission from someone who needs written permission from someone who needs a notarized paper from the person who you asked in the first place (Who didn't tell you that because they didn't know).
Sometimes it gets completely bypassed by military commanders or local governors who quietly sweep the regulations under a rug, but often there's little coordination and a lot of confusion about who actually needs to sign off on official documents and what documents are needed to get shit done.
I have a PC who used Intelligence as a dump stat. But whenever I throw a mystery, a puzzle, or any other situation that requires serious thinking at the party, the player will use his "real life" Intelligence to solve the puzzle with his character. How do I discourage that?
>I have a PC who used Strength as a dump stat. But whenever I throw a locked door, a heavy weight, or any other situation that requires serious muscle at the party, the player will use his "real life" Strength to solve the puzzle with his character. How do I discourage that?
OP, you don't need to post a picture of yourself to make a thread.
