Rolled 71 (1d100)
Last time on Forbidden Love you have determined that you will move in with your girlfriend in her dungeon, trained some more, raided some dungeons, and proceeded to rob a certain dungeon heart blind. Said dungeon heart as since sworn revenge...again. Naturally you proceeded to sell all the treasures and loot you have acquired earning you no small fortune. Much of which was spent on acquiring a pair of gauntlets and little else.
You have since started to peruse the black market and after finding items that even their sellers aren't...

Alright, after nearly burning myself out on Adorjan in an effort to see how long it would take to complete one Yozi, Adorjan is mostly done with a total of 75 charms.
No other changes have been made as of yet, but I'll focus on another Yozi eventually.

It's funny how much homebrew we've got before the corebook is properly out.

I know right.
It's going to make me curl up in a corner and cry if any new subsystems are introduced.
So a few million of these land in the milky way galaxy, 40th Millennium, presumably able to keep their numbers up in one manner or another
How do they fair?
IS it only Reavers or are there other variants

Not as well as a million of pic related.

Fair enough, but they operated on a different scale

You're at the cockfighting arena, and you've just defeated your first opponent ever in your career as a cock breeder. Now, it was time to claim your reward!

What's a good basic Empire setup for X-Wing? TIE swarms give me a headache. I was thinking maybe two /fo and an Interceptor. What should I add?
So I can get more opionins.
I want to make a TIE Interceptor list but every example I've found includes a TIE Advanced and a PalpShuttle, I can't afford either of those at the moment but own just about every other TIE ship, what would work?
Has anyone ever ran a murder mystery campaign?
Did your party have fun?
Any tips for someone wanting to do this?
I tried once, although it was meant as part of a larger campaign.
Long story short, the party was in a country where slavery had been recently legalized.
>Party is serving a noble in this country in order to build alliances.
>While the party is there, I drop all sorts of hints that things aren't what they seem. Slaves whispering in suspicious tones, rumors of rebellion from the commoners, signs that the nobles are brutally executing dissenters and using the military on their own citizens, ect.Comment too long. Damn, I'm sorry your campaign was such a tragedy, because that seems like a pretty well thought out storyline that could have been quite fun.
Mine will be in person with bros, and we all enjoy watching shows like Criminal Minds and Law & Order (and more recently Making a Murderer), so I figured the guys would enjoy something like this since we haven't gotten together for a good game of D&D lately.
I would like to either set up some sort of murder mystery, or maybe have the party play...

I tried once but one of my players is literally a federal criminal investigator in the murder division and she could see through all my bullshit plots from a mile away so I went back to hack and slash.
/tg/, do you keep secrets from your party?
Or are they sort of open secret, where your group doesn't metagame and carry on as if they knew nothing?
Last session I stole the quest macguffin from the cleric while he was sleeping. He hasn't realized it yet.
Otherwise no.
>>44622312
Yes.
I trust (most of) my groupmates that they would not metagame with that, I do it for extra immersion.
>>44622312
Pic related I assume?
I have a secret, yeah. My blood is a powerful neuromuscular blocking agent, aka a poison that paralyzes those that breathe it: it's also highly volatile. Those who stand near me once I bleed have to roll a fort save or else they risk to become paralyzed for a short while.
My group hasn't discovered it yet.
All good characters need flaws. Flaws make a character interesting, to the point where we have the term Mary Sue for characters with no flaws to the point where they're boring at best, actively annoying at worst.
People don't like Superman because he's an immortal god who can do literally everything. People like Spider Man because despite the potential of his powers, he's crushed by responsibility.
What flaws do your characters have?Hard mode: No dump stats.

>People don't like Superman

No.
>>44620966
>>44620956
Superman has huge flaws, what are you talking about? The only superman really without flaws was silverage, and we haven't seen that shit in decades.
Honestly it's more about a character being relatable than them having flaws. A perfect being really is hard to relate to in a narrative.
>>44621013
This isn't it either. A character being 'relatable' or 'flawed' does not make them good. In order to be good, all that is required of a character is that he be interesting.
People keep trying to shove this stupid idea that in order for a character to be good he has to be flawed and tragic and 'something I can relate to' and yet the public keeps eating up characters who are larger then life, have few flaws, and are barely relatable.
Relatability and 'flawedness' are both terrible metrics for judging characters.
Why is always said the physical conditions for modern soldiers are lower? If anything they are higher than pre modern.
>>44603404
Oldfags
>>44603404
Depends on what exactly you mean by "lower."
On the one hand, armies no longer campaign on months-long forced marches in absolutely shitty conditions that kill more people through disease and poor hygiene than the enemy does.
On the other, you gotta move fast or you're dead, and volunteer armies and the sheer destructive nature and complexity of modern combat means that nations can afford to have much higher standards than "call up the poor people."

>On the other, you gotta move fast or you're dead, and volunteer armies and the sheer destructive nature and complexity of modern combat means that nations can afford to have much higher standards than "call up the poor people."
Also, combat load for the common infantryman is heavier than it's ever been because of the sheer volume of shit they have to carry.

General disussion about rules, plot and ideas
>>44597242
Since it seems everyone has their rule questions answered, what have you created inside the game so far. Clans , new locations , adventures
>>445936
Would be GM's; if a player wanted his clanner to be a corpse eater (worms and all) would you allow it?
>>44597386
I would let any character turn to cannibalism in a pinch.
I would not allow a concept built on such an obvious fetish. If the player designs a clan that incorporates cannibalism into a non fetishy culture, that's fine.
If in a setting present-day human civilization were to take up the manufacture of polearms and other medieval weapons with modern day technology and metallurgy, what would the results be?
Pic is some stupid tacticool bullshit because I couldn't find anything better.
the result would be a lot of tacticool bullshit.
But, IF, and its obviously an if that will never happen, such a scenario were to take place, its a pretty good bet to say that the first decade or two of us would see a very rapid abandoning of most of the tacticool bullshit, and people reverting to medieval designs - because they WORK.
after a few decades, when people have regained experience of using those weapons, then you'd likely start to see more innovations.
till then, it would likely be copies, with only the materials changed (ie, polymers for...

>>44623622
Why? Instead concerning yourself with YET ANOTHER european mythology you could reach to way more interesting cultures.
>>44623637
thanks for the reply but if I wanted to know more about other "more interesting" cultures I would ask about them
>>44623637
>more interesting cultures
Fuck off. Europe has a deep rich culture of its own.
You should probably sell off your computer and swear off internet if you prefer the kind of cultures that lead you to stoning your wife to death, cutting off someones hands or shitting in the streets.
What could be some headgear for elves that would protect the ears from the cold?
Assuming that we talk about the longer animu-ears. Those are really exposed and they must have a lot of blood flowing through them.
I can't think of anything that would be comfortable to wear or would not look silly. It's snowy and cold outside and I love it
>>44623222
Little ear socks, maybe? Which could fall under the "look silly" clause, but could also be really cute.
>>44623310
They should be in bright colours and have little pompoms on the end.
Fluffy ear muffs, except more oval in shape.

If you are asking for build advice, please mention which third-party books are allowed.
Though really, Paizo has been known to drop the ball as often and as bad as any other 3pp anyways.
>>44618059
its a work in progress.
So far, it just grants class features from the Paladin and AntiPali (smite and lay on hands), Barbarian (Rage and a Rage Power), Rogue (Trapsense and Sneak Attack), Cleric (Channel Energy and Turn Undead) and Magus (Spell Combat and Spellstrike using psionic powers)
The other problem is its very MAD as hell but I don't want to make a one-stat wonder archetype like the PsyArm.
fantasycraft is better in literally every single way

other than of course being playable.

In other words, we attack him directly because he's built his entire empire on his own personal strength and a personal defeat will crumple the entire thing like the flimsy house of cards that it is.

We're only level 6 right now so yeah, kneel, toe the line, etc until opportunities arise.
We are nothing if not pragmatic.
Challenge him to single combat.
Lose.
With dying breath, declare he will never win.
