whats a good way to implement a mechanically sound octopus/kraken/cthulhu encounter into a game, underwater and above?

Kidnap your players
Bind them up and blindfold them
Put them in a tank with a bunch of octopi in it

How about telling us WHAT game/system you're using you useless fuck so that people tempted to help you don't have to spend a lot of thought and effort on something that might be completely irrelevant.

>How do you incorporate memes into your 5e game, /5eg/?
Anyone who does this, is what is wrong with tabletop gaming today.
I cannot even say how sick I am of the "lolrandumb" shit from new players who come into games having read /tg/ screencaps and think they should have Sir Bearington-tier chuckles 24/7, and derail the game with shitty jokes and gimmick characters that turn the entire campaign into complete, puerile crap.
Having a character that "breaks the fourth wall" is not witty or inventive, it's an incentive to blow your brains against my basement wall with a 12 gauge.
Having a character who constantly makes Steven Universe references, or rage comic references, or references to ANYTHING that is not part of the D&D world, is annoying and unnacceptable behavior.
It needs to stop. Please do not encourage it further OP.

I know it can be upsetting to not keep up with the times. Things you loved are being updated and changing, and getting used to games with memes can be a bit disconcerting. It's okay, anon. There are memes out there even you may love.
So I got to thinking and a mountain dwarf rouge seems like a legit idea one could roll with, so I may make one in the near future. My only question is if mountain dwarves get shield proficiency.
Also, anyone else have any strange but workable character ideas?

Describe the land of the Fey in your settings. How do your characters react to Fey and their land, and how prominent is Fey influence in your game?
What would you like to see done? And post art.

Waking up, early again your pack still slumbers. The forest around you is quiet save for the wind in thr treetops. You take a moment to reflect on your situation. You woke up in a cold wood, you wernt alone though, dozens of other found themselves the same way. From what you can smell and feel, they are all like you. Cursed with beasthood burning in your body, the ravaging hunger gnawing at your stomach.
But at least you are making a home here, some of your pack spent a good portion of their days digging through the frozen ground to make the beginnings of your den. While...

What could a gun in a high-fantasy setting use instead of gunpowder?
magicpowder
now fuck off
Literally anything. I had a session with giant moths as an enemy that ended up having the players postulate that their moth dust was an analogue for gunpowder.
Just... magic? Load a metal projectile in, the trigger completes runes that draw magic from the wielder. Special projectiles, special guns, and skilled wielders can give shots different properties, make them more accurate, or deal more damage with them.

Damn, who the artist is for that pic needs to revisit their human anatomy basics.
Appears not to know how to draw boobs front-viewed. Made the hips and ass somehow 7 inches lower than the bottom of the pelvis, as well as thighs that are individually thicker than the midriff.
Oh, and because of the obligatory bust of the breasts, they compensated by making the chest expand outwards, but didn't change the shoulder width, making it seem as if perhaps she doesn't have armpits. The sockets simply...

Okay, so two of my Friends who have never met each other are into Anima, I know very little about it, and I have read the books, but between translation issues and standard rpg layout madness, I got lost during character creation.
Is there a straightforward summary of how to play / run Anima? If not, could (Would) someone scratch one up here?

We appreciate that more than you know, especially considering that, honestly,...

You know in Toy Story 3 when Mr Potato Head puts his face bits on a tortilla and escapes? Really bothers me.
Where is Mr Potato Head's consciousness located? Is he an assortment of bits? A swarm? Is he incorporeal? And the face bits are just the ritual objects which summon him into a host shell?
What if we pressed his face bits into a person? Does he possess them?
Given in Toy Story 2 he was able to see out of an eye that was removed miles away from him, and given that in Toy Story 3 he was able to remove an arm and have it move by itself, we can only deduce that his consciousness is located in every given piece of his original body.
EXCEPT for the fact that he seems to possess a pair of "Angry Eyes", which he was able to equip without going blind. This means either he can choose which parts his consciousness inhabits, or he inhabits every piece ever equipped to him.
Given the world of Toy Story is not ruled by...

His consciousness is in his parts. After all, Mr. Potato Head was originally just bits you put into a potato.
This is Boruto Quest, a quest set in the universe of Naruto. It is during the generation of Naruto's son, shortly after everyone has graduated from their Genin exam. I haven't kept up with the series beyond the end of the original one, so this one is intended to recapture the feel of that time of Naruto. I will not be incorporating the main show or the Boruto movie's plot into the quest, although some recognizable characters will be present. You play as a 12 year old Chunin graduate named Takeshi. You have been assigned a Jounin squad leader named Hanto, and your...

HAHA, AFTER 33 threads i finally caught one before it ended
You wake up the following day, resting long and hard after being embraced by your brother in a lung-crushing hug. You've brought home a trophy filled with prize money, as well as becoming the second Chunin in your family. The two of you went out and enjoyed a large dinner before heading back and resting up.
Once you awaken, the realization that you have no current obligation to anyone in particular dawns on you. You're essentially free to do as you want for the first time in about a month in a half. After breakfast and a shower, you step outside your front door,...

>Doctor Who

I played the medic from TF2 once. Dnd. Iw was fucking great till the DM up and said "fuck you" and stopped the game.
I was stuck in a Pathfinder game that I wasn't really into, so I decided to make a character that took very little effort to play but could still contribute.
I made Tor from MKX. Basically a direct port, just with a name change.
Homebrewed Half-Ogre Brawler. He basically didn't talk, and just kinda faded into the background when combat wasn't happening / raw muscle wasn't needed. Wound up being quite helpful to the team, greatest moment may have been when he threw a spear to its maximum range increment from one island to another and absolutely...

Welcome one, and I welcome you all to the tale of a world called Thespia.

Voting will operate on a first to five system, at least for the time being.
Dialogue is allowed to be added to votes, as are actions (though I'll ignore what I consider shitposting)
During battles, options will usually have a number assigned to them. After that vote has won, players will roll a d100, and have three chances to match or beat that number.
If a 100 is rolled, it is considered...

I swear to god 50% of the shit in my campaign I make up on the spot. I had my group fighting pirates at one point and the fucking sorcerer wanted to kidnap them back to their house. Now I have them making some kind of fighting pit/bar within the house. I have an expenses list written up. Side note other than food and staff what else should they have to pay for? I have a feeling they are going to be in this fighting pit a lot.
Pic unrelated
Try close to 100% faggot.
I barely even prep shit on paper anymore for my Savage Worlds campaigns. I just think for about 15 to 20 minutes the night before, then I'm ready to go. MAYBE I will make a few notes.

So what do you about encounters? Like do you not even balance them and shout 'good luck, cock fags'?
Similar story here, however personally I find it's always low quality shit which I feel embarrassed about.
Don't think my players notice though...
