Another one I made
I don't have any names, backstories, classes or stats attached to them.
I just made the avatars for shits and giggles.
One of mine.
What is the most unusual race/class/alignment/patron deity combination you ever played in D&D /tg/? And did you enjoy playing the character? Pathfinder players also welcome.

If you see a demon traveling on the road, are you well within your rights to kill it on sight?

Well duh.

No.
At the most you have the right to be polite and ask it how it's doing.

Are demons unholy abominations who represent literal evil, or are they simply a naturally occurring sentient species capable of any range of morality and free will?Shitpost less, please.

Warhammer 40k Figure Selling Question.
Is it possible to print your own figures and then sell them on them internetz, or is that "illegal" since I do not own the warhammer concept?
Anyone has any experience with this?

Nope.
What's the use of holding the should like that in the second picture? I tried thinking of every scenario, the terrain, if the user is on horseback. But the teardrop shape was made for protecting the legs and not much else. Even though it's covering more of the forearm, wouldn't be that much useful for shield bashing either.
For bashing faces while protecting your bashing arm.
Maybe it's for better control of the shield so the user can move it up or down to block a sword strike from a opponent?

Lrn 2 shield.
Pic 2 is more stable than pic 1.

Could we maybe not?
How about we instead, i dunno, post 10/10 waifu material like pic related?
>>44621482
Fantasy, definitely. The problem with scifi is that becomes caught up in its own ideas rather than telling compelling stories. Of course, then you also have people who write fantasy as if they were writing scifi and spend more time explaining every minute detail of their made up societies rather than actually telling a good story -- GRRM, that one was directed entirely at you.

Hey tg, short time no see. I've been working on a setting wherein a classical fantasy world has been completely devasted by magical and draconic warfare some 300 years hence. Nature, albeit in rather extreme forms, has reclaimed most of the world. Summers are hotter, winters are harsher and the woods have grown wild, unruly and terrifying.
Ruins of once-great cities and fortresses stand as a testament to the former might of the three former kingdoms of yore, whilst the remains of the population remains hidden beneath the surface in vast underground dungeons that just...

Put some Metro 2033 elements in there as well.
>The surviving population has formed factions in the undergrounds that can span between different underground cities.
>Could be a conflict between one or more factions over the scarce resources underground.
>The adventurers can find both friendly and hostile scouting parties on the surface, as well as animals that has been twisted by magic: A blood thirsty 2 feet tall 600lb Rabbit.Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.

Sounds nice, will do. Was kinda thinking I'd let it play through and slowly reveal that a second organization with the exact same original goals has claimed the greatest city left on the surface, but fallen prey to ambition, the corrupting power of magic and maybe a dark god or something. They'd definitely be using magically corrupted beasts (gnolls, orcs, kobolds, whatever) as their main force, with an elite cadre of "pure" warriors as the core. They'd probably be warring with Drow raiders...

Go with a logical extension of the theme - skeletons. When the party opens the final room, they will expect a boss monster, but there will be none. Instead, the entire chamber is made of animated bones, out of the walls grow skeletal arms wielding weapons, floor is made of skulls that cackle and rattle and bite the adventurers' feet to trip them, and such. In the centre, there is a ribcage on a pedestal. It contains a half-withered, but still beating heart. To destroy the room, you have to pierce the heart. The hard part is reaching it.

Incorporate pic related. Also, there was a copypasta about a pit of cutoff and reanimated hands, and one of them was the hand of a giant. Can't seem to find it atm.
So, I recently joined an RP group that are in the midst of a League of Extraordinary Gentlemen style game. Essentially, a Steampunk universe where classic british characters are re-imagined in a Steampunk WW2. We were, apparently in need of transportation, so I couldn't help but put on my biggest shit-eating grin as I filled out the Character Sheet for "Sir Topham Hatt"
Essentially, he uses his magical top-hat to infuse the souls of the near-dead into inanimate objects, his trains.
Unfortunately, for some odd reason, there is very little artwork...

Look to the core, ceiling-licker. Squats have the best Land-Trains in the galaxy. Even if most of them were derailed by Tyranids...
Post when your players have either done some shitty things in-game or have made you accept that you have to make some major changes to the way the campaign was going to do. Bonus points if the party was happy or excited about how the situation happened.
>evil wizard asks party to kill a unicorn and bring its horn to him so that he has everything he needs for his world-destroying ritual
>they actually do it, the absolute madmen
We captured and split in half a tribe of orcs. The DM was and still is pissed about it and the game had to really change because we didn't just kill them for revenge like we could have and were supposed to.
>players act like a bunch of sociopathic mercenaries
>get angry at me when the world treats them like a bunch of sociopathic mercenaries
I don't even know what they expected, the guards to NOT defend themselves?
My favorite is when I tell my players something is going to be very dangerous and likely get them killed, and they try to fucking call my bluff. Like I'm just gonna roll over and go "nah, you're PCs, you're invincible". If I say something is fucking dangerous it is...

I need to keep my players sidelined in a major city for a few weeks while story events unfold enough to actually move the plot forward. My only hard rule is NO TIMESKIP.
So I'm soliciting you for ideas. Things I can keep my players occupied with in a big, fantasy city in a completely generic fantasy setting.
No dungeon crawling, no adventures to the mountains, no chasing down an evil cult, just stuff to pass some time.
Tell us about the party.
>>44620281
Parties, festivals, trips to the library or market. Make some effort to craft a new item or uncover a new technique or spell.
It's time to roleplay and relax.
>>44620301
There's not much to know about them. There's a young Cleric who's family is gonna feature later in the chapter, there's the Swashbuckler who has no real connections to anyone, the Barbarian who's only friends are a drug dealer they just rescued and a Guard who hates him, a Fighter who doesn't know what he wants other than to make his own armor, and an Occultist who has no major connections to the city at all.
>>44620316
The city is barely stable after huge riots and civil unrest. There are no festivals or parties to be had. And if I could keep them occupied for multiple weeks with shopping trips, I wouldn't have anything to worry about.
They're gonna have some downtime to spend as they want, but I know they don't have anything to spend it on, and after that I still need time to set up the next events, since they start rolling in slowly.
