[1 Week has passed, Advent Mech wreck reverse engineer has been completed]
"Commander, while this Advent alloy is relatively decent against conventional bullets, it is highly resistant against Laser weaponry, I suggest processing some of our wrecks to have more available alloys. I can integrate these Alloys into our body armours."

Intel:
-Secondary bases: (Potential base in U.S.S Aegis)
-Established contacts: Egypt
-Chance of being detected: 5% (This increases with every mission, heavy increases if the aliens captures a live soldier. It will gradually decrease by laying low or eliminating potential threats in certain parts of the globe.)
-Field operatives can establish contacts in several parts of the globe. This will make future missions easier in said parts
-More field operative in our base means we can detect a threat or an opportunity much faster, increasing our expenses helps...

>Alien Materials [Requires 10 Sci,10 Eng 100 Alien/Advent weapon fragment, 100 Alloy, 100 Elirium, 2 Mil, 1 Month] Our understandings of these alien materials were lost twenty years ago, to fully uncover their potential, we need to thoroughly research them, commander.
>Advent weapon fragments II [10 SCI, 10 ENG, 150 Advent weapon fragment, 1 Mil 2 weeks] Commander, we believe we can take a step forward, we can assemble these fragments to create weapons of our own. we will still use conventional ammo...

I can't imagine Elf meat tastes very nice...
In any sense of the word.

Why think so many GM a Villain needs desperately a Twist? An evil asshole is fine, not everyone needs to be "misunderstood".
Because people think adding morally grey tones to their campaign automatically makes it deep and interesting.
>>44664827
because GM's fancy themselves creative types who believe multifaceted characters somehow make their villain more relateable and therefore sufficiently deep. In the context of the actual setting and plot that the adventures find themselves in, a straightforward bad dude will usually suffice in getting the players hyped to roleplay.
Because giving someone a reason beyond "lul, im evul" to do something can make a character more compelling and engaging for the players, it just needs to be done well.
Have you ever played an old timey pugilist? You should.
>>44664719
Sir Humphrey Barrington Parker, Esquire: Gentleman Boxer and wrester. At your service.
>>44664719
I currently playing mercenary captain with heavy plate armor, shield, and heavy mace, also a good brawler and boxer. Does that count?
>>44664719
"Old timey pugilist" basically means "show fighter with no conception of defensive technique".
4-1 last night at FNM. Loss was due to one minor misplay.
Learned from my mistake and today I go to a GPT and lock up two byes at Detroit. Look for the list on Top8 sites later this weekend. This deck is for real. I'm giving you the heads up to invest in Dungrove Elders now.
>>44664664
>monogreen stompy brother in arms
Is Dank Elder really worth it? I wanted to include them in my deck, but I gave up as I wasn't able to buy the damn cards anywhere near (being yurofag is suffering, not to mention I still miss 2 baloths and I'm forced to use wilt leaf cavaliers to replace them).
Also: what's your opinion on Wilt leaf liege?
>>44664766
Dungrove Elder rapes control. You gotta be smart about playing around counters but if he sticks it is gg.
I've been wanting to test a Liege. It could be okay. I think Oran Rief may be better.
Surrak, The Hunt Caller has been okay in testing.
>>44664811
Isn't the problem with Oran-rief is the fact it comes tapped, and only buffs creatures that entered the game this turn?
Maybe I will replace cavaliers with Surak, I like their vigilance tho, it saved my skin more than once.

I'm sad I can't get more Inquisitions at Sylvan Scrying prices, but these things happen. I already own my set so not the end of the world.
What I am genuinely angry about is the lack of Scapeshift in the whole BFZ block and MM2015. It makes so much sense.
Honestly MM2015 was fucking awful. Easily could have slotted in Inquisition of Kozilek at uncommon (literally Kozilek is in that shit set), Scapeshift at rare, Grove/Canopy at rare, Linvala/Thrun/Azusa at rare, Urza Tron at uncommon... would...

Is there any fluff reason for all these big titty bitches wandering around almost nude?
>>44664152
Marketing.
>>44664152
Kingdom death is just Berserker with tits, or grimdark Queen's Blade.
Gonna be hosting tonight.
What's the GOAT snack to have at the table?
>>44663954
Boneless wings. Serve them with tooth pics or forks. Also, Home made wontons. You want finger food that's not messy, anon. Failing the above, just get pizza.
Tastes vary, but it should be something that doesn't stain. Chips and other greasy snacks are out, unless you enjoy gross grease stains on all your books and papers.
We usually have pretzels.
>>44663954
Red Lobster Cheddar biscuits. There's a mix available, or you can make your own.
If you're eating healthy, veggies with an optional ranch dip. Bacon squares and cheese.
What does /tg/ think of Tabletop Audio or any other tools used to change the atmosphere for gaming such as Adventure Scents?
>Adventure Scents
I have never heard of this, but it seems incredibly gross.
>>44663855
Essentially you can get different aromatic oils blended into small beads that you buy in a tin or have them placed in a locket. They have some deliberately gross ones of course like the smells of crypts or rotting flesh but there are quite a few pleasant ones. The smell of dusty books for example or an enchanted forest.
>>44663902
I wish there were another word for this, but this sounds over the top gay.
Are robots capable of magic?
>>44663006
Depends on the setting.
Yes.
>>44663006
In the case of GURPS, I'd let them use Ritual Path Magic, but not standard Magery or Sorcery. (An exception would be if they had some sort of mana gathering magitech shit.)
You know this mana flood/screw thing is annoying lets be real. It comes up so much and for like 90% of people who have this happen in their games, its really no fun.
Is it possible to customize the rules of MTG so that you have a separate pile for land?
Has anyone tried this?
Obviously, you'd have to make a lot of changes to the cards to get this to work. Maybe change some effects to be based off percentage likelihood in a balanced deck or something.
What do you think /tg/?
Would this be an interesting way to play MtG if you balanced it right?
>>44662814
>Every turn
Well, maybe every second turn. Not sure.
>>44662814
A lot of decks would become broken.
>>44662814
Just use some artifacts.
how much does a relatively fine brothel with around 20 whores a few of which are hot elves make in a month?
and what are its monthly expenses?
>>44662314
Fetish/magic realm question.
Joy.
>>44662314
It depends. How lavish conditions do they hold up and how open are their businesses? How high are the rates and how frequently do they "cash in" each night? Consider such a location would undoubtedly need bouncers and guards even if the clientele is well-regulated, because any brothel worth their salty seed is going to have plenty on tap, at a nice expense of course.
How does magic factor in? Do they charge the clients for a Plan B spell, so they don't end up saddled with kids, or even an STI...

No fuck off retard.
A PC in my campaign just bought a brothel and I have zero understanding of economics.
What sort of foul creatures would you have in your darkest dungeon /tg/?
Women.And men.
Five fa/tg/uys sitting around a table, eating snacks and arguing about speculative fiction.
A Washing Machine Mimic.
I don't have anybody in my real life to discuss wh40k with.
